Nilambur is a very beautiful place unfortunately we had rains so couldn't visit tourist spots.... but we were amply compensated by the stay.... spacious, open & clean flat nestled amongst the greens of Nilambur... excellent place to stay and taken care by a gracious and extremely helpful host... if we come back to Nilambur we know where to stay

Our stay at Kalikavu has been the highlight of our 3 week trip exploring South India and loved by everyone in our group of 8 people - children and grown ups alike. The lush surroundings of rubber, betel nut and coconut trees and colourful plants with the mountains seen in the distance made it a perfect place to relax and take in nature. We all wish we could have stayed longer. Louis, Riyas and the ladies who prepared delicious meals for us were really helpful and made our stay very special. Particular thanks to Riyas who took us on a walk to the hidden waterfall where we all enjoyed a refreshing swim. We would definitely recommend Kalikavu to anyone wanting to explore Silent Valley and enjoy the beauty the valley has to offer.

The rooms were extremely clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The staff was incredibly courteous and went out of their way to make sure we felt welcome and well taken care of. Every interaction was met with a smile and a genuine willingness to help. What stood out the most was the peaceful environment—perfect for unwinding and taking a break from the usual rush. Whether it was the quiet mornings, the cozy evenings, or the scenic views, everything came together to create a truly memorable experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a refreshing getaway. I’d gladly return again!
