The Old Chapel Luxury Retreat

ShirleyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Just beautiful. A tastefully renovated chapel with elegant furnishings and heaps of character. The well-equiped kitchen was a pleasure to cook in and we had lots of fun with the board games and cards provided. Ashford is a picturesque village with great dining and drinking options. A perfect spot for our family reunion.

Lucy’s cottage is stunning! Even more beautiful than the pictures! We had a really lovely time - Youlgreave is a wonderful village with 3 pubs, cafe’s and a little shop, plus being close to other attractions in the Peak District! Fabulous host, brilliant location, beautiful cottage!

Peak District Cottage HotTub & Sauna

SarahRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This place is so beautiful, it’s a real treat. Claire is a great host couldn’t have asked for better. There’s nothing she’s missed. It’s so beautifully clean, we had a beautiful hamper, she even gave us gluten free and diary free items which was amazing. Claire also sent us lots of places to go and places to eat which was great. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Five stars all the way⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Cottage in Ashford in the Water

MartinRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Beautifully appointed place, very clean and very comfortable beds, in a great location. Super easy walkable access for Bakewell and a seriously good meal at the Bulls Head in Ashford (which has access to a great kids park). Smart TV so easy to login to Netflix if you wish to. The ‘car parking space’ to the side of the property is essentially triangular, so not really suited to anything but the smallest of hatchbacks/sports cars, however plenty of parking space at the start of the lane the house is on. Our only recommendation would be that they provide bubble bath, but that’s very much a nice to have, given the shampoo, shower wash, fresh flowers provided! A lovely base for hiking in the Peak District - we did Dragons Back, Kinder Scout and Chatsworth House.

Quintessential Cottage in the Heart of Bakewell

JanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The cottage was perfect for our needs especially in terms of its location so close to town. There is very limited parking and limited outside space so may not suit everyone but it was fine for us. Kitchen was very well appointed. One single room is in fact a curtained off space next to the sitting room so not ideal when others are tramping through but could be useful especially for a single person with some mobility issues as the staircase to the upstairs is very old and a little steep. There is a downstairs bathroom too. All very cosy and full of character.

Self contained annex - Peak District riverside

Our stay at Wendy and Stephen place couldn’t of been better. Located in an amazing tranquil spot and not far from many fantastic walks, although just staying at the property alone would have been a wonderful break. The property was immaculate and equipped with all the essentials. Wendy and Stephen as hosts were perfect and couldn’t have been more helpful. We had a car related issue 15 minutes away from the property which delayed our check in, they recommended a local garage and offered to pick us up, then offering us a slightly later check out which was very kind. We will definitely be staying again and would recommend to anyone!

Cosy pied a terre in Bakewell

RebeccaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
A great place to stay for the 2 of us for a short break in Bakewell. Spotlessly clean, lovely comfy bed and all the amenities you could ask for. Less than a 5 min walk into town with pubs, cafes and shops galore and a parking space provided so easy to get out and about in the wider area. Thanks so much for a fabulous stay!

Beautiful Baslow Bolthole (close to Chatsworth)

WendyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Hi Hayley Another lovely relaxing stay at Wits End Cottage. Weather was fab, we sat out each day on the terrace or in the Secret Garden. Hired bikes at Hassop and cycled the Monsal Trail, relatively flat with the epic old railway tunnels to cycle through. Enjoyed the short walk to the Chatsworth grounds and longer walk up to the House. Also the peaceful walk along the river to Calver. Will be back at Wits End shortly. Such a great location and always a treat. Thanks for everything xxx
