Pretty 67 m² half-timbered house on a romantic farm in the old town center of Dörnhagen. This place is perfect for a couple with or without kids. There are many places on the shared courtyard (4 other parties live permanently on the courtyard) to unwind, read or have a meal. The cottage is bright and looks spacious for a half-timbered house. Stay overnight on the adventure farm directly on the R1 bike path. On our small, cozy farm you will find the ideal place to escape the ordinary. In our newly built pods, you will experience a unique sleep and relaxation experience. Let your mind wander and enjoy nature in the beautiful Fulda Valley. In the cozy cottage, there is plenty of space for breakfast or just to linger. In winter, the Kota becomes a unique experience by the open fireplace.

The apartment is 45 square meters, it has its own entrance with its own terrace and a private sauna. Parking is sufficiently available and free of charge in front of the house on the public street. Bicycles can be parked safely and covered in the garden.

The apartment is located in the rural area of Kassel (16 km). Surrounded by fields and many bike paths (R1 bike path). It is about 18 km to Hercules (World Heritage Site). The cathedral city of Fritzlar is 14 km away and 25 km to Lake Edersee. The A7, A49 and A44 highways are in the immediate vicinity. Shopping facilities are within 5 km (Rewe, Lild, Aldi and Ratio-Land) The apartment has 48 sqm, 2 beds and a sofa bed in the living room.

Family Waldkauz's guest house in the middle of the forest

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.

In the idyllic village Königshagen you will find our beautifully restored half-timbered farmhouse. The village is beautifully situated at 360 meters above sea level, right on the edge of the vast Habichtswald. Ideal for walking and tranquility.   The house is very luxurious: three saunas, two bathrooms, pool table and much more! There’s lots to do in the area. Especially around the Nationalpark Kellerwald-Edersee.
