Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Eel River

Had a wonderful time , didn't spend much time in the location due to my daughter graduating. But the presuer of the shower amazing love love it.

This house is so gorgeous I wish it was for sale. The hot tub was a huge bonus on top of the amazing view. The mattress was exstreamly comfortable.

What an amazing place!! The view was as amazing as the house. Very clean, such a spectacular view. Beds were very comfortable, easy access to park and get into the house. The extra amenities with the house were an added bonus! If I’m ever in the area again would definitely stay again! Host was extremely helpful and very responsive!

The reel em inn was better than expected! Great location, comfortable space, great host. The kitchen was fully stocked to cool your own meals with coffee and breakfast provided. The space was very quiet and comfortable. I loved listening to the sea buoy whistle me to sleep at night. Perfect spot for my dog to go run on the beach in the morning and evenings. Highly recommend the reel em inn!

It was a lovely home, the space was quiet and the neighborhood calm. We loved the aesthetic and felt right at home, being able to sit outside and enjoy it all was a huge plus. Within walking distance of a microbrewery, grocery store, and historic Arcata. A list of local restaurants and hikes were available to us, they were friendly and responsive people, I felt right at home. Thank you!!

This home is the perfect place to stay; quiet, beautiful landscaping and across the road from Sequoia Park. It's impeccably clean, very comfortable bed and furniture, stocked with only the best of products, as well a welcome basket of goodies. I highly recommend staying at Joyce's place.

Booked very last minute and had all info needed to check in instantly. This has been an issue at other Airbnbs in the past.

From the moment we walked in, we liked the inviting feel of this home. The large & well stocked kitchen was great for our girlfriend getaway! The 4 of us each had our own room and every bed was comfortable. A quiet & peaceful spot with an enjoyable short walk to the downtown area filled with beautiful old homes to enjoy along the way. My husband and I stayed at Lauren's place for 3 nights while exploring the Redwoods. We absolutely loved the place; it was like a home away from home! Lauren is a wonderful host with a kind spirit and a beautiful smile!

Probably the most comfortable airbnb bed I've ever slept in. Beautiful garden, beautiful room. Friendly host and landskeeper. Being able to soak in the hot tub after a long drive was so wonderful. The gardens and yard attracted beautiful birds and their songs were so soothing to listen to. A really nice kitchen with a cute little stove too. This place was peaceful, felt very safe, and I would definitely stay again. Host was super responsive.

Barrie was extremely responsive & helpful from start to finish. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a smiling face, kindness and a fabulous place that exceeded our expectations! Barrie goes that “extra mile” to make things super special for guests. The setting is peaceful, beautiful, creative and full of interesting things to enjoy, indoors and out. Highly recommend!

My wife and I had a truly wonderful stay. The space is so relaxing with all the plants and windows, interesting pictures on the wall and the view of the beautiful garden from the kitchen. The space was also very clean. We enjoyed chilling watching the SmartTV and reading the binder and books provided. We traveled with no issue from the AirBnB to some nearby attractions and had no issue parking in front of the house either. The hosts were very friendly and responsive and it was very nice meeting them! The AirBnb is in their garden so we got to meet their fun dogs as well. They have a lot of personality and we loved finding them at our door every once in a while. Would definitely stay here again and we recommend it to anyone looking for an AirBnB in this area!

this was a great location to everywhere we wanted to visit. the apartment didn't even feel like a part of the house when there, it was secluded and private. super clean as well.

Karin was the best host we ever had! In recent years, the personal touch of having the host meet you when you arrive has morphed into a somewhat cold feeling, self check in when arriving to an airbandb.. Karin was a true host, meeting us, helping us park our motorcycles, driving us to and from the restaurant, and sharing her beautiful garden herbs with us. This was a 10 star experience!

This place was absolutely stunning and cozy. The view is breathtaking. The bed was comfortable and the house was warm and clean. The shower is a bit short so it might be a struggle for tall people but the bath is beautiful and clean. Our only challenge was that the steps are in no shape for walking all the way down to the beach. They are in serious need of updating if they are to be advertised as usable. We could make it half way down to the deck with care, but beyond that is just hazardous. The deck view is gorgeous. We would still come back, even without beach access. It was a wonderful place to stay.

I can’t really say enough good things about this stunning place. The view? Like are we watching a TV screen of the most majestic ocean ever or is this the window? The fireplace. The locations. The staff. Legit, book it. Thanks me later. The price is great for what you get. Im a neat freak and Larry left our place spotless. Bottom line— I have stayed all over the world in quite a few hotels and b&bs but this is a place not to be missed. Just dont take the next days I want. 🤣 Happy travels all!

Susan and her sister Ashley's place was perfect for our needs. A friend and I stayed there for a weekend wedding. Parking was easy and convenient when we arrived. The balcony has such a relaxing view of the bay and Old Town Eureka. It provides plenty of opportunities for easily walking around to shops, eateries, and bars. If you're looking for a late night treat the ice cream parlor just downstairs was phenomenal. Cannot recommend this spot enough for anyone looking for a convenient place to stay in the area.

Had an amazing night staying at your place, The Exquisite. Check in was easy after getting cell service. My group, of 4, loved having a working, clean hot tub with a view after getting off the LCT after 4 days. 10/10 will recommend and will definitely keep your place in mind when we plan for our next trip at shelter cove. The place was and the view were better than we expected! such a beautiful spot, clean and a easy walk down the trail to the beach. we will 100% be booking again. 100/10! Simy was super helpful giving us tips and suggestions and responded very fast!

This place is such a gem 💎 🤍 hosts are so responsive and speedy, they reached out a couple days before check in and established contact 🤍 the room is amongst a larger inn but the entire establishment you can tell is well cared for and each room is just as wonderful as the next 🤍 location is amazing - isolated but a great sense of community there is a coffee shop that has delicious drinks and food just steps away from the inn. There are also numerous small restaurants within walking distance and it is worth trying them all 🤍 updated appliances and decorations, very clean and well kept with literally no clutter 🤍 the cove is incredible, beaches are clean and the water is crystal clear, it is a bit on the colder side if you choose to play in the water, otherwise the views alone are spectacular Will be recommending this place to all my friends. Excellent weekend trip and a great place to relax and recharge Thank you so much!

Bob and I took off our hosting hats and put on our traveling hats for this birthday getaway. We love Eureka and have found a new place to put on our favorite list. This Airbnb is everything you would expect from a five star Airbnb. Great location right on the water with beautiful views, secure building, all the amenities inside that you would expect, clean and well appointed… I could go on and on and on. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!
