Monthly Rentals in Eels Lake

After 3 days in Toronto, Tunde's accommodation is a haven of peace. Very well maintained accommodation and what a view🤩. Good place to go for 1 day to Algonquin Park (80 km east entrance of the park). Visit the Egen Falls (a short walk not far from Bancroft). shop in Bancroft for groceries. Everything was perfect and Tunde responds quickly to our questions. i recommend this listing.

Very cozy cabin. Has everything you could need, all what you have to bring is your clothings. We even had the chance to taste their homemade maple syrup! Close enough to Bancroft but still tranquil, nobody can access the cabin but you. We saw people stopping by on the otherside of the lake but it feels OK and not invading, it is far enough to not care. Wildlife was abundant. We did not have much mosquitoes or annoying bugs outside and literally none inside. We went there as a couple with a dog and, once used to the space the cabin offers, did not feel squeezed, although it is not huge. Hosts were very kind and responsive. If you like small, serene and cozy places, this is a must try.

I had a great time on my mini vacation at this property. Very relaxing, lovely little property and easy to get to. Felt very private even though it was close to other homes.

We had an amazing time and even extended our stay by a day! The cottage was cozy and right by the lake, perfect for fishing and stargazing. However, a couple of things: One window lock near the kitchen was broken when we arrived.. we assumed this was left as is and didn't think much of it - We felt a bit uncomfortable with how this was addressed after our stay. We were faulted for not reporting this and was told "we look guilty" by not mentioning this to the owners. Some rocks around the fire pit were accidentally moved by our kids and thrown onto the lake. We didn't realize their importance as there were plenty of rocks around the property. We felt the follow-up comment about it was a bit off-putting. Then there was the outdoor furniture which the owners questioned if our children poked holes in it (did not) - 3 very small holes identified by owners. Overall, we had a wonderful family time and would recommend the place with some minor communication improvements.
