Great place to stay after driving from MyVatn, the cities are quite small, but it's is well located. A better view would have been great but it was fine to sleep and eat, we didn't cook onsite but it looked like there was all the amenities to prepare a meal like at home. I would book again given the chance.

Great apartment with beautiful surroundings! Calm and quiet, very clean and has everyone you need. Can't recommend this enough!

Really great place to stay in the eastern part of Iceland. Even though there were so many rooms, the common areas were extremely clean and well organized. Only negative point - when the sun shines the rooms heat up to what feels like a sauna because of the big windows.

This hostel is nestled on the opposite side of the fjord which Seydisfjodur lies. It’s a really quaint and beautiful town, and the hostel is surrounded by majestic mountains. It’s a magical experience. Toilets are really clean and showers have good pressure.

Great restaurants within walking distance. Clean. Safe. We had some trouble getting the main door open but enjoyed our stay!

Wir benötigten wetterbedingt ganz kurzfristig eine Unterkunft und das hat super mit Gabriel geklappt. Er reagiert auf Nachrichten sehr freundlich und sofort. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber, modern, zweckmäßig und trotzdem gemütlich eingerichtet. Ideal für 1-2 Übernachtungen, total unkompliziert. Probleme mit dem WiFi löste er umgehend nachdem er davon erfuhr. Absolut zu empfehlen für kurze Aufenthalte.

Sehr netter Gastgeber, alles wie beschrieben! Sehr bequemes Bett! Wir waren sehr zufrieden, mit einem kleinen Manko es gibt nur ein Bad für fünf Zimmer.

This was a great place to stay. Enjoyed the feel of the countryside and the peace and quiet that was part of the experience. Host was great! Enjoyed the stay and the conversations! Would stay there again if I get back to Iceland!

Lovely spacious apartment in a quaint quiet town. We loved our stay here and wish it could have been for longer. The apartment had everything you could need and the rooms were large. We loved the location as well. Cute cafe / grocery store nearby that serves great coffee, muffins, fish and chips. The brewery has great beer too.

Eine niedliche, sehr kleine, gut funktional eingerichtete Unterkunft in einer fantastischen Gegend. Ideal für Camping. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Elsa and Maggi’s place! The house was cozy, peaceful, and full of personal touches — like the delicious fresh bread Elsa kindly prepared for us. One of the highlights was getting to see her amazing handcrafted work in her workshop. The hot tub was perfect for a relaxing soak in the evening, and the overall hospitality we experienced was truly heartfelt. Overall, Elsa was incredibly responsive, kind, and thoughtful throughout our visit. We wish we could have stayed a few days longer but we will for sure to book again in the future when we visit Iceland!

Chambre très agréable. Rien à signaler, tout était comme on s'attendait. Nous avons pu cuisiner sur place et se reposer tranquillement. Tout ce dont nous avions besoin était à disposition.

Very cool place to stay the night in east iceland

The communal spaces are wonderful and so cute! The view was nice and the town was gorgeously quirky. Then hostel had such a nice vibe and the showers were the best I’ve ever experienced in a hostel. I would definitely recommend staying here
