Exellent location between Airport (30 min.) and Reykjavík (15.min Central). The Cottage is downtown Hafnarfjörður, close to the harbour, a walking distance from Restaurants, Coffee shops, Tourist info, cute little shops, supermarket and a central bus stop. Taking a SAUNA after a long day is a real treat and the "outside" shower (with hot and cold water) is a great experience. Then Hvílusteinn is perfect as a getaway from the city into the wilderness & as a base camp for South Iceland, within 100 km you have most of Iceland's popular gems! Airport about 170km away. It's nice to just enjoy the local nature and the northern lights in this remote and secluded area of the countryside with a private outdoor shower and shared indoor shower and a sauna.
