Wow! Best Airbnb ever- we absolutely loved the place . It was so cozy, comfortable, and functional. We cooked every night, walked around the area for ice cream (great gym nearby) and so close to downtown Rejkavik! Host is so kind and responsive, couldn’t ask for an easier check in / out ! 10/10

Nice, clean, spacious, fresh, cosy, modern apartment, convenient check in and out. Rather costly, but there were no alternatives in the area even when booking early in advance. The good thing - the palce met our expectations and the place was worth the money. Worth to see the nearby waterfall from the bridge and climb the nearby hill (there is no marked trail or at least we did not see it). The hike was quite wild and steep, but we managed it with a 3yo. Thanks!

Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay in this airbnb apartment which was comfortable, clean, and had conveniences such as a full kitchen where we could cook our own meals. Great location for us to explore the Snaefellness peninsula!

This was a TOP stay! very large, beautiful and clean. Bed was large and very comfortable and even the seat was very good! Dolly was absolutely the icing on the cake, she spent several hours with us for attention and rubs 😁 Einar was very kind upon our arrival. Enormously loved our stay here!

This location is as small as it is described however the sauna, the lake and the location make it worth it. Our host was quick to respond to our questions and when we asked for horseback riding recommendations, he provided us with a place near by and his honest assessment of it. We really appreciated him doing that.

Staying in Dora and Nicolas' cozy flat was everything we could have wished. They were friendly, welcoming, helpful and generous. The flat was clean, well-supplied and super comfortable. It was a perfect location for walking to the University for our conference (7 minutes) and into the City Centre (+/- 20 mins) for events, museums and dining. (Just up the street are KaffiVest, a wonderful little cafe/restaurant, a small supermarket, and the local outdoor, heated swimming pool - an Iceland tradition!) We wholeheartedly recommend, and would gladly stay there again!

The apartment is perfect for a short period of time. It’s not far from Akureyri by car, just about a 15 minute drive away. Good place to watch northern lights from the balcony overlooking the fjord. Room was spacious and kitchen was supplied with the basics.

Cozy place but could just fit my group of 5. Big windows let you see the wide open space around you. The stairs to the loft are tight and could be difficult to get bigger bags up there.

We stayed at Magdalena’s place for one night and had a lovely experience. The house was clean, spacious, and featured a well-equipped kitchen — perfect for a quiet evening in. The blackout curtains worked really well, which we appreciated during the bright Icelandic summer nights. The location is peaceful, with magnificent mountain views that made our short stay feel truly special. We’d gladly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Totally worth staying here! Location was perfect, immaculate homey place, accommodations were perfect, cleanliness was superb, attention to detail from silverware to every piece of furniture. The hot tub was perfect after a long day of driving and hiking. ☺️

We had a lovely stay with beautiful Icelanding horses as neighbors. The apartment was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Even though we forgot to send a reminder 24 hours in advance. They still delivered a crib after hours. This made our stay really comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

The accommodation is very quiet and well equipped. There's plenty to cook. Well located, there are shops less than a mile away open until 10pm... I recommend it!

Cosy accomodation. More spacious than it seemed on the fotos. Owner ist very helpful and friendly. It was a pity that we could just stay for one night.

Well-equipped apartment in a quiet environment

Sandra’s respite in Reykjavik was the perfect spot for our first trip to Iceland. The location is easily walkable or scooter-able into downtown Reykjavik and we never had a problem finding a parking spot. The street itself is quiet and calm. The place looks just like the photos and had everything we needed. The bed was cozy and there was plenty of room in the closet/drawers for our belongings. We would recommend this place to anyone looking to visit😊

Great spot! Very close to airport. Hosts were flexible with check in/out times which is great for odd flight times/changes etc. The place was very nice and clean - beds comfortable and amazing shower! Great place to stay!

We had the 3rd floor location Hrimland's place, and it had a nice view of the harbor and was very spacious. It was immaculately clean and well laid out. The location is fantastic; a quick 5 mins walk to Akureyri center, with restaurants and coffee shops. On our last day we walked to the botanical gardens from here, which we highly recommend - a botanical oasis at 66' N! All in all Akureyri was one of our favorite places from our week-long visit to Iceland, and we used it as a base to do the Diamond Circle (including Husavik). Very highly recommended! Barry and Jen
