Fantastic log cabin on the Rhine

In a quiet location with a beautiful view of the Rhine, the log cabin is located right next to the edge of the forest. With 130 m², there is enough space in a 3-room apartment and it offers a pleasant atmosphere with a fireplace. You can explore castles via hiking trails or by boat trips in the Middle Rhine Valley, which is known for the UNESCO World Heritage. All shops, supermarkets (REWE, Lidl), restaurants as well as tourist attractions and boat docks are easily reached on foot.

Wiehl center is about 3 km away with various shops, bakeries and restaurants. Heating is provided by radiators connected to our heat pump, which is powered by green electricity. Das "Balthasar Ress Guesthouse" ist das Gästehaus des renommierten Weinguts Balthasar Ress im Rheingau. Vornehmlich für eigene Gäste des Weinguts konzipiert, steht es auch manchmal anderen Gästen zur Verfügung. Das Architektenhaus liegt in der Siedlung "Rebhang", eine der exklusivsten und schönsten Wohnlagen im Weinanbaugebiet Rheingau. Die Siedlung liegt auf rund 400m Höhe, rund 300m über dem Rhein und ist umgeben von Wiesen, Weinbergen und dem Wald.

The cottage is furnished in vintage style and has a fireplace in addition to electric heating. A kitchen newly built in 2022 with fridge, dishwasher, induction, oven, and everything else you might need, outdoor grill, covered terrace. Towels and bowls are available for dogs. Hiking from the house is possible for hours.

We rent a beautiful, cozy vacation home. The vacation home is located on the grounds of the former Grube Maria directly on the edge of the forest. A little off the main building. Thanks to the high-quality amenities and some extras such as infrared cabin, wood-burning stove, sauna with outdoor shower, large terrace overlooking the forest and much more, our vacation home is the ideal place for rest and relaxation.

The nearest Rewe or bakery with breakfast option can be reached in 10 minutes walk.
