Charming Secluded Guest Suite near Woodland Park

This secluded and very quiet, 370 sq ft in home apartment, space is nestled in the trees with a territorial view to the southwest. If you have an appreciation for hand crafted details this is the place for you: hand made windows, a bed frame made from salvaged fir bleacher seats, owner designed light fixtures, and traditionally crafted woodworking details throughout. The Chestnut stays cool in the summer and cozy in the winter with its heated concrete floors. Open all twelve windows south and west and you might think you’re in a treehouse. This space is thoughtfully designed as a restful retreat after a long day of exploring or hectic day of business travel. If you like to cook, the kitchen is complete with a gas range, a full size electric oven, microwave, under counter refrigerator/ freezer, farm style sink, and all the needed utensils. The Chestnut has its own secure entrance and private patio. It is accessible by stairs only. I am here and happy to help. Perched on the hilltop above the historic business district, the Chestnut provides easy access to Fremont neighborhood and many delicious restaurants and local shops. Look for the many public art pieces nearby or walk along the gorgeous ship canal. There are plenty of food options within walking distance and a number of buses that will easily take you downtown, east to the University district, west to Ballard, and north to greater North Seattle.

we picked Elena's place based on reviews and we were not disappointed. The host did a great job designing and furnishing the house. the kitchen is well appointed and the washer dryer worked great. the only thing is that this is a 3 story apartment and you also have to climb up a level to arrive at the first level. so if you have trouble climbing stairs, it might be difficult. but that's the nature of a house on a hill. overall we enjoyed our stay and will not hesitate to stay at Elena's place again.

We loved this spot for a few days in Seattle at the end of a 2 week road trip through Washington and Vancouver Island! Fantastic location in the gorgeous Queen Anne neighborhood with local restaurants and grocery close by. A short drive to all of the fun tourist spots we wanted to visit. The apartment was beautiful, clean, and super comfortable for my family of 4. Jason was responsive, kind, and gave awesome local recs and information. Don’t hesitate to book this spot!

Brett’s place is fantastic! It was perfect for our four-night stay in Seattle. Everything in the unit was new and spotless. Bathroom was spa-like as described, living room was comfortable and relaxing, and the kitchenette had everything needed for breakfast or a quick meal. Check-in and check-out was simple. Brett was a great communicator before and during the stay making sure that our needs were met. We would definitely stay here again.

Yang's unit is a beautiful modern clean space. I would recommend to anyone looking for an affordable yet luxurious place to stay in Seattle. It was nice to have the washer and dryer @ our convenience. The weather didn't permit us to sit out much but the little porch in front of the unit was a nice private space to behold with the beautiful flower Yang put on the table. Parking wasn't hard to find and the neighborhood was safe, clean, and quiet (FYI: we kept our windows closed all the time). Yang is friendly. I requested mats for the kitchen and bathroom. She graciously provided them (brand new). In a congested city like Seattle, Yang's building is newer and stands out among other apartments. The walls are pretty thin such that being downstairs, we could hear noises (e.g. flushing of toilet) from upstairs. We were not bothered 😐 though. Thank you, Yang, for the recommendations on what to do while in Seattle. It was also a pleasure to meet you in person 😊 .

This spot hit all of our needs and more! We felt it was very reasonably priced for the location! Loved that there were things to do in the surrounding area and it was only 15 minutes away from downtown Seattle! The place itself is small, but the pictures that were provided were accurate! If you’re just looking for a place to stay while exploring Seattle, this is great! It’s SO clean. And the area is very quiet! They provide great instructions on how to get to the area and provide a great parking spot. Bensu and Stefan were great! They left a sweet handwritten note welcoming us to the area, provided little water bottles, Nespresso Pods, and even some snacks! In the listing, the gave great options of things to do area the area! We really appreciated the space while visiting! We 100% stay there again!

Karen is an absolutely wonderful host. She is warm, friendly and very attentive. She was extremely helpful and generous when communicating an issue that had arisen with the building management at the beginning of our stay. The minor issue was resolved quickly and the overall experience was fantastic . Thank you, Karen!
