This lovely private cottage within 20acre gardens has 1 double bedroom, fully equipped kitchen with single oven, 4 hobs, fridge freezer, washing machine, microwave, table and chairs making it suitable for longer or short stays. The bathroom has full size bath with power shower overhead, and the sitting room 2 double sofas, smart tv and wood burner giving the cottage a really cosy feel. Guests will have access to the well known Green Island Gardens and Colchester is only a 5 minute drive away.

Great base for working, visiting the area or relatives. Short walk to Essex University, 3 miles to Colchester and local villages. A practical first floor flat in Wivenhoe with double bedroom, lounge, sofa bed, bathroom and kitchen. Plenty of parking behind the flat, TV and unlimited broadband. A brilliant shop opposite, a friendly pub next door and bus stop outside with lots of other pubs and shops nearby. Nice walk down to the River Colne and have a drink or meal at the Rose & Crown.

This is a stand alone unit totally self contained with shower and toilet. Unlike garden rooms this unit has wheels and a tow bar. The (should I say) Shepherdess Hut as it was used by a small holder during lambing to be close to her flock. Not suitable for long stays. More details below in The Space. Mistley is a charming village (town?) and there is a view down towards the quay. The house faces the Green and it is a quintessential English village scene with the occasional local walking by. There is a pub down the lane which is very convenient. The house is beautifully appointed with every convenience thoughtfully supplied. The decor is vintage charm, and extremely cosy. I will definitely be back to explore the area further and this very much feels like a home from home. Thank you!
