My wife and I couldn’t believe what we were seeing as we drove up —absolutely stunning views that set the perfect tone for our stay. The drive to the home alone is worth mentioning, with breathtaking scenery all along the way. As soon as we walked in, we were immediately impressed by how spotless everything was, and the view from inside the home was just as incredible. The space has a modern cabin feel that was cozy and stylish. It’s incredibly peaceful, making it the perfect place to truly disconnect and unwind. Everything was comfortable and well-maintained; we didn’t have any issues during our stay. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and made it clear they were available if we needed anything, which made us feel even more at ease. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat with access to nature, there are some great hiking and biking trails nearby. We highly recommend this place and would definitely come back! We enjoyed this 2-night stopover. We came from Rome and what a difference in pace. It's wonderful to be in the mountains. The area is beautiful and the beds were good. The apartment is fully equipped. A place to remember for a next vacation. Thanks Flavio!

Our stay with Bettina was amazing! She provided local recommendations for hikes and it was a very smooth process to check in. The convenience of the grocery store across the street and bus station was also very helpful since we did not rent a car. Another plus was that the kitchen was fully stocked with plates, forks, dishes. Everything was very clean. We would stay here again.

The location was a little far to walk from the station, but other than that, it was really perfect! Thanks to you, it was a happy trip. Thank you.

Firstly, Heartfelt Thanks to David for this Amazing Stay. The location was overwhelming and we really loved. Nevertheless the stay was a masterpiece, tidy, well maintained and cozy. The best place to stay in Switzerland. The amenities were all as per our needs with a kid and satisfactory. Thank you.

Believe the hype! Perfect place to stay for our family of 5 (5 yr old, 3 yr old, 1 yr old). Sabine went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable after our travel from the States, going as far as to grabbing us a few groceries so we wouldn’t have to go out the night we arrived. Sabine’s place was clean and had all the things we needed including a crib, high chair, changing table and toys for the kids. The location was perfect and a close walk to the bus stop and the port. We were only a quick boat ride away from Lucerne and other major towns. Also a block or two away are a small grocery store, butcher, and great bakery. Book Sabine’s place, you won’t regret it.

Beatrice is a great host! She makes you feel right at home and welcomes you with a warmth that feels like family! Her home is beautiful and very well maintained! Great views & comfortable amenities. Not to forget, if you are a cat person - You get to meet Luna as well! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this lovely home!

Our family needed some rest and relaxation in nature with hiking trails right outside our door step. We got exactly that! What a beautiful cabin situated in the middle of the mountains at 1000m. The village of Isenthal was so picturesque. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We loved our stay and wished it could have been longer. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin with our family!

Outdoor kitchen is amazing for people who love cooking.

Aldo was great and his recommendations very accurate to what we needed. I loved that he communicated with us since the first moment we reserved and was also sharing pictures and sending clear instructions on our arrival.

Both Regula and her husband, Satcha, were extremely helpful and welcoming. They walked us through the entire property, explaining how everything worked....they even had the pool cleaned spotlessly...they had an outdoor pizza oven and a small garden with herbs for your cooking, and lettuce growing which we were welcome to use. The house had everything that we could have possibly needed, and they checked on us a couple of times to make sure that we had everything that we need. I would highly recommend this home for your traveling and vacation needs!

For 6 of us, it is a great place to stay. You will not have an issue at all if you have your own transportation to go around, which is what we did during the 3 nights there. We cooked dinner for all three nights for 6 of us at the house and enjoyed the view. We have already missed this house now as we are in Interlaken for another 4 nights with a different style of Airbnb. After sharing our photos and experience of the house with my sisters, they are interested in booking the same house for their future trip to Europe.

We spent 3 nights here and we had a great time. Location is very calm and quiet, it's perfect to reach the most popular places in the region. The surrounding is very nice, you are close to the nature. In the house we had everything we needed, kitchen is very well equipped, beds are good, we could sleep well. Communication with Simone was perfect. It's good to know that the bathroom is downstairs in the basement, for us it was not a big problem. After all we could get a taste of life in the Swiss countryside.

Well-maintained family home in a prime location by the lake, close to the train station and shopping facilities. There is so much to do - sports, hiking, cycling, lake, museums. Very nice landlords who always have time for you.

We had a lovely stay at Riad’s - easy check in, extremely clean home and a very responsive host. We really appreciated the amenities, which included a washer, dishwasher and a Dyson hairdryer among others (have to note this in particular, as many hotels have weak / inefficient hair dryers, so to have a Dyson while traveling, as at home, is a game changer). Pictures do not do the view justice - the lake and surrounding mountains make for a lovely milieu. Highly recommend & would love to return someday!

It was a little expensive, but I think it's a good alternative due to the nature of the chalet, which requires a long stay. The Eiger North Wall seen from the kitchen was really cool, and it was really great to be close to Grindelwald Station and Coop. And it was useful because the washing machine was free (detergent needs to be brought separately)-!

Such an amazing stay!! We were here for a week and it was idyllic and peaceful. Emmetten is a friendly town in a beautiful setting. The apartment was extremely clean and had everything we needed. Maya was an excellent host. She is very responsive and even brought us some eggs from her hens. The Volg grocery store is about a 4 minute walk, but there is also Ruadis Marcht which is even closer. We loved this little store. If you are into buying local, stop by. They bake different types of sourdough bread daily and you can get fresh eggs, pastas, dairy and meats from local producers. There were excellent hiking trails all around. We had an amazing stay and would recommend Maya’s place to anyone.

The area is really beautiful. They were two seperate rooms with a kitchen. The hosts were really friendly and also provided us with extra Ventilators due to the terrific heat. Over all, Nice stay.

We loved Heidi's place. It was clean with all the amenities and exactly as described on Airbnb. She was super helpful. Great place with whole lot of board games and pianos.I definitely recommend.

Great apartment in a beautiful area. It was nice to be close to all the major tourist hotspots, but be away from all the crowds. This stop felt like an oasis in the valley!
