With on-site VIP parking, cooking facilities, plus your own private ensuite bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. This is a unique stay at Macdonald’s Farm. Outside you have your own garden with outdoor furniture and a fire pit for those all important BBQ’s under a starry sky. Come and enjoy the beauty of the farm. Just bring your clothes and towels – we provide the rest! We allow well behaved dogs.

Cosy cottage by the sea with private garden

Lane Cottage is a small rustic south facing cottage with french doors opening onto a lawn giving wide views of the Lanherne valley and the sea. A small bathroom with bath/shower and w/c, and a double bedroom open off the living room. From the bedroom a short, steep, narrow, cupboard staircase leads up to a low, sloping ceilinged attic room with two single beds and a sea view, suitable for children. There are no gates and several openings in the garden which is boarded by a day stone wall.

Cedar Lodge has just been completed and is brand new ready for 2023. It is a stunning 1 bedroom annex situated in the lower half of our garden. Although it is in close proximity to our family home there is a dividing fence and all access to the annex is separate with shared parking.

Enjoy amazing sunsets over the ocean from the comfort of your cozy double bed and huge windows. Stroll 10 minutes through paddocks to your choice of a number of great beaches and swimming spots. Porthcothan beach is a gentle wander around the coastal path and Trescore, Porthmear, Golden Burn and Pentire and are right on your doorstep. This cute space, hand built by the host, is situated in a quiet field with 2 other accomodation spaces but plenty of privacy and peace.
