Jacob's cute house was the perfect place for a stay in Esperanza. Located on a residential street, we felt very safe and all neighbors were friendly and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again! Highly recommended 😊

We stayed at one of the other apartments this host has last year and decided on this apartment for the trip. it felt like we were coming home every day. The neighbors are friendly, the location makes it easy to walk to the Malecon and also ro El Cocal Beach. The apartment was quite comfortable and had everything we needed. The hostess is proactive and very responsive. We had booked an extended stay and then had an emergency back home and had to leave early. Julia was incredibly gracious and understanding. We will definitely be returning here again.

The house and location was perfect for our family week stay! The house had everything for meals and walking distance to restaurants and beach. Enjoyed the back patio and the lovely natural landscape. Definitely recommend for you to rent a vehicle to visit the whole island. Thank you John and Karen for opening your home to the Airbnb world!

Excellent family-friendly accommodations for our family of six. In a peaceful part of the Esperanza neighborhood, comfortable walking distance to Calle Flamboyan and the Sun Bay beach. The kitchen had ensuring we needed to prepare family meals over the course of the week. The outdoor shower was very helpful, especially for cleaning up when we were all returning from trips to the beach. A nice surprise bonus was the availability of a variety of things to make beach trips extra nice: beach towels, chairs, coolers, snorkel masks, sunscreen, aloe, products for preventing any treating sand fly bites, etc. We appreciated all of that very much!
