The Duisburg houseboat Lore in the heart of the city

Our small 13 meter long houseboat Lore is located in the inner harbor of Duisburg, 3 minutes from the city center in one of the trendiest areas of the city: the inner harbour. The Lore has two spacious bedrooms, a roof terrace with lounge furniture, a small covered terrace, a living room with a direct view of the water, a kitchen and of course a bathroom with shower and toilet. The Lore is winter festival and can be booked 365 days a year. We have had three boats in the harbor since 2025.

Top location - Top amenities

It is a beautiful apartment in the middle of the girls' quarter (Seitenstrasse). Restaurants, supermarkets, etc. are a few minutes' walk away. It doesn't get any more central than this. Local transport, highway and city center are also within easy reach. Free parking is available in front of the door. The apartment is perfectly equipped and nothing is missing. I live here most of the time myself and love my home. All things are of very high quality and should be treated well.

Cozy apartment for 2 guests in Essen Süd

Bright, 33 sqm apartment, consisting of a combined living room/bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and hallway. Fully equipped and with lots of extras. For example, walk-in shower, coffee maker, dishwasher, etc. In the living-sleeping area, there is a 200 × 140 bed for 2 people. The apartment is centrally located in Essen and is also very easy to reach by public transport. It is also located directly at the A52 highway entrance and is only 20 minutes from Düsseldorf Airport.

Quiet guest room - private entrance, private bathroom

We rent our small guest room (... it is ONE room, even if Airbnb lists the living room and bedroom separately in the pictures) with private bathroom and entrance. The room has a bed 80 x 200 cm, which can be quickly widened to 160 x 200 cm. The room is "only" about 13 square meters (plus bathroom), but otherwise has everything you need for a short stay: a closet, 2 chairs, a table, fridge, the possibility to make coffee and tea... cups, plates, cutlery ...

This modern two room apartment in Essen-Bergerhausen is located in a quiet neighborhood close to the Siepental park and only 15 minutes walking distance from the Ruhr river. Perfect for bicycle trips in nature. The next bus stop that takes you to the city center in roughly 10 minutes and to the Gruga in 25 min is just 4 minutes away. Enjoy a stylish experience in this centrally located accommodation on Isenbergplatz. Renovated in 2021, this 42 sqm apartment on the top floor of a 1930s building sleeps 3 people in 1 room. It is modern and comfortably furnished and surrounded by numerous bars and restaurants of the local student and artist scene. Within a few minutes' walk you can reach the Rüttenscheider nightlife as well as the Philharmonic and Aalto Theater

In our house in a small cul-de-sac (insofar as the address "Hauptstrasse" is misleading), we rent a closed 2-room apartment (sleeping/living area) on the first floor with a small kitchen and bathroom. The location is ideal for tourists, business people and trade fair visitors. Since 08/01/2025, the city of Essen has levied an accommodation tax of 5% and a maximum of €9 per night. This is included in the nightly rate.
