Monthly Rentals in Essex

Although there were many wonderful aspects of our stay, the most spectacular was the breathtaking panoramic views of the lake. Waking up to the sunrise and sipping coffee on the porch while listening to the loons was the perfect way to start the day. The location was also ideal: the ferry port to Vermont was less than a mile away and we enjoyed visiting both Burlington and Stowe. Additionally, access to the Lake Placid and the Berkshires was an easy trip. The house was decorated in a lodge style and had everything that we needed. Perfect Fall vacation!

James is a wonderful and knowledgable host who is willing to do whatever is needed to improve guest experience. He was incredibly responsive to any questions or requests and was very courteous and friendly. As other guests have mentioned, he offered to go out and pick up some food for me when I first arrived. I was fortunate to have a few conversations with James about Essex and the history of his AirBnB during my stay, and I really appreciated how informative and kind he is to guests.

I had a fantastic stay in Essex, NY! The location is perfect, right on the lake with great views of the Mountains. It’s a peaceful location with easy access to local restaurants, shops, and outdoor activities. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in a scenic, quiet spot.
