Gorgeous spot that is just as beautiful as it looks in the photos. This is probably one of the best AirBnBs I've stayed in so far. The design of the cabin is cozy and very functional, and the setting is quite, peaceful and relaxing. The hosts provide everything you need to have a wonderful stay - they even built a fire ready to be lit in the fireplace. Unfortunately we only stayed a day. I would definitely come back here and stay longer!

Janetta's house was extremely comfortable with lots of space, facilities and lots of little extras. We really enjoyed our stay there and would recommend it to all.

Kim's place was exceptional. Very comfortable, everything we needed, convenient to everything and very tastefully decorated. Kim was also very proactive in her communication so we felt very welcome.

This was our fourth stay at Misty River Lodge and won’t be our last. My family, including our little Jack Russell Terrier, loves Helen and Craig’s place. I especially love seeing how the gardens have evolved. We enjoy visiting the beaches up and down the coast — Scotts Head is a favourite — and we love to find new places to eat. Coffs Harbour is only a 45 minute drive north and South West Rocks is just 30 minutes south, so it’s a really central location and close to the highway but so quiet and peaceful. The bird song is relaxing and if you’re an early riser, you might even see the local swamp wallaby down near the creek. We were treated to fresh quail eggs, deliciously sweet tomatoes and tasty vegetables from the garden. As Helen said when we arrived… “Welcome home!” … because it does feel like a home away from home.
