Holiday rentals with a patio in Exarcheia, Athens

Nikolaos’s place was lovely. It’s located in a quiet local neighborhood in the city, however everything was walkable. It was comfortable, clean and felt like home. It really added to my experience in Greece as a first time visitor. Everything was provided and the neighborhood felt very safe for a solo traveling woman. I also requested a driver to pick me up from the airport and drop me off on my last day. It was very simple and they were very responsive. The driver was such a delight and gave me a wonderful introduction to Greece from a local experience.

We loved this location - it was exactly what we wanted, and perfect for the two of us. Monastiraki is a great location - a base for exploring the history of Athens, the busy flea market, plenty of restaurants. Things to bear in mind: this is on the seventh floor at the top of a building, and the lift goes to the sixth floor, but the view is worth the extra stairs; it’s a busy neighbourhood, with lots of night life, so expect to hear some music from the adjacent attic bar, although this really didn’t bother us (shut the windows!). The host was very responsive and exceptionally helpful - we appreciated the guides to neighbourhoods, eating places, etc. All in all we loved the location, the lay-out of the premises, the character of the apartment. We would definitely try to stay here again if available.

Arrived in evening & found entrance was at far end of road which was uphill. Taxis were on strike day we arrived after a 45 minute walk 😢. We should’ve caught the Metro. Keyless entry system worked fine. Wi-Fi worked well. Tried local restaurant the 1st evening, recommended & cheap. Apartment had all amenities except a microwave which we didn’t need. Spotlessly clean & & photos are accurate. Nice complimentary bottle of wine & water on arrival. Jacuzzi on patio was lovely. Text communication with Panagiotis was excellent & he messaged several times to ensure we were OK. Used local metro at bottom of hill which is great to get into central Athens & only €1.20 a journey. Uber is about €7. Breakfast in morning on back patio is lovely as sun rises with distant view of Acropolis. Nice to sit on front balcony at end of day watching sun set. Panagiotis was so helpful with any text communication. Would highly recommend.

Happy with our stay here, place was lovely and the view from the roof top was wonderful. Didn’t mention that it’s shared by a mechanical or similar shed area but could be easily ignored with the beauty of the Acropolis. Apartment is definitely showing signs of age but what can be expected of a city as ancient as Athens. Overall would recommend to others and would return if we are ever back. Where can I even start? Ioannis was absolutely amazing! Helped with everything. Couldn’t ask for a better host! His place is stunning, modern and with a lovely balcony ideal to spend chill evenings at. The kitchen is equipped with everything you may need. I would definitely stay here next time I’m in Athens because the location is truly great. Two minute walk to Lidl and like two minutes more to get to train station with two lines of trains. There are lovely and affordable restaurants in walkable distance. Truly everything you could ever want out of a AirBnb.

Great place value for money

The flat is very comfortable and has a nice clean minimalist design. It's in a great neighbourhood with some nice bars, restaurants and bakeries nearby. It's also within walking distance of the Acropolis and convenient for bus routes.

I spent a week here and had a great time. Right in the centre of Athens but I felt I had a little sanctuary to relax in every night. And best of all it was quiet! Even in the busy centre. I would stay here shin for sure!

Clean accommodation and inside the apartment and outside the surrounding area. Very beautiful garden, very well maintained. Friendly and direct host, he was there for whatever we needed with a good mood. All those who offered services at the accommodation were helpful. Excellent location, very convenient for any activity, easy access everywhere, in the center of Athens, to museums, cultural sites, entertainment venues, restaurants. I highly recommend Marios' accommodation. I will choose it again.

Great host excellent communication very clean apartment. Just next door to lovely coffee shop and close to great restaurants.

Katerina’s place was very close to the park area near the acropolis as well as a few cafes slightly out of the crowded part of town. She was very responsive and was even able to let us check in early, which was a huge help. The slight problem with Wi-fi was far outweighed by her customer service. I would certainly stay with her again!

Clara was friendly, with a beautiful home that was well stocked for everything we needed.

Thank you Ioannis, this was my first visit to Athens and I had everything I could wish for. A small flat which was a great place to be alone in, and a base for excursions. And it was cool in style and temperature!

We had a great time here! Panayotis was very helpful, and had lots of recommendations! We stayed here the night before our ferry to the islands and it made for a very convenient trip in the morning. We grabbed dinner to-go and enjoyed it on the rooftop deck (for sure a highlight of our trip, and a memory we will have forever!). The only hiccup we had was finding the apartment on our way in. Although I think that was more our fault and not the host’s. Just a heads up if you decide to book I would definitely take them up on their offer to pick you up or take a taxi. Overall I would definitely recommend staying here! ☺️

Great place to stay out of the busyness of Athen Acropolis but so easy to get there using the metro. Nice to have extra space outside which was helpful to dry washing.

Fantastic host — so helpful and easy to communicate with. Welcomed us when we arrived which was a lovely touch & arranged transport for us. The apartment is beautiful — really cool stay. 10/10 would recommend!

The absolute best location and view in Athens!

Our stay was very short, so it suited us well. The shower had hot water, the bed was comfortable. It was easy to check in.

This day was simply wonderful—a hidden pearl in the heart of effort. With the most breathtaking view of the Acropolis, it felt like stepping into a scene from a beautiful Hollywood film. I’m already looking forward to returning. I can’t recommend this place enough—just wow.

This was such a great place to stay!! So clean, peaceful, and private! The views were breathtaking! WHAT a picturesque sunset going down in the mountains! The best! Would stay again in a heartbeat! Thanks to Nikos for being an absolutely amazing host!

We stayed 3 nights in this Airbnb. First of all, we would like to thank Kostis for the clear explanation about the use of the Airbnb and the incredibly quick responses to our questions. The airbnb is clean, modern and cozy. So highly recommended. A plus is also that you can reach the Metxourghio metro station within a 5-minute walk and thus easily visit all the hotspots of Athens.

We had a wonderful stay at Vivian’s apartment — if I could give 10 🌟, I would! The check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow, and the apartment itself was spotless with all the amenities exactly as described. Vivian thoughtfully left us some water and coffee, which was much appreciated. The location is perfect — just a 15-minute walk to the city center in a safe, quiet neighborhood. Vivian was also incredibly accommodating: she allowed us to stay later due to our late flight, which was a lifesaver, and even helped us arrange transportation to the airport.
