Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Fairfield County

Jacob’s place was very pleasant to stay at. Our family of 6 had plenty of space inside the house and around the property to relax and enjoy the peaceful hocking area. The hot tub was very relaxing and the fire pit made for a great night of relaxation outdoors! Overall my family loved this space and would definitely book again!!!

It was easy to find but you are actually in the basement of a house built on a hill. I don’t think that shows in the listing. The people above you actually live there. They greeted us and were both lovely. I didn’t realize it was really one big room. Also, it is much more rustic than it looks in the photos. The porch with the hot tub, table, swing and glider was very nice as it looked out on the big field and woods. Bre and Peter were very quick at getting back to me if I had a question. I did not like having to go through a second app though. I’d rather do everything just through Airbnb.

We were travelling with family from 18-82 for a celebration of life in Lancaster. The home was perfect - there are stairs, BUT the office made a great quick bedroom on the main level. Alyssa even proactively offered to set up a bed in there. All beds were super comfortable! The kitchen is supremely well-appointed. The highlight is the back patio. With memory issues and a long drive, the overlook to the familiar fairgrounds was truly ideal and made it feel like home right away! Thank you Alyssa for providing such a fantastic home for us! It truly was an easy button.

Wonderful stay. We had an extended family group of 14. We were simply looking for a central location for meeting up with family between Cincinnati and Cleveland, so we intended to spend quite a bit of time at the house just hanging out. The house was great, lots of space. The fire pit was really unique and a lovely setting in the evening, the basement activities, basketball court and the outdoor area was fun for the kids and adults. I read a few other reviews about the neighbor in the apartment next door…she’s lovely! We wouldn’t have known she was there at all, but she actually offered to help by lighting up the basketball court one evening for us. We also walked down to the ice cream shop in the evening, and to the coffee shop in the mornings, don’t miss out on those. Leslie was great, quick responses to any questions. In sum, the house and its surroundings were the main attraction for our visit, and it didn’t disappoint. We would definitely go back.

We absolutely loved the house's stylized decor. It was well lit, clean, nice and cool in the Summer, had spacious countertops and refrigerator, and comfy beds! The basement gameroom/karaoke stage were very fun and thoroughly enjoyed! For the price and the amenities offered, as well as the very helpful and responsive hosts, we would come back and recommend this rental to anyone..

The Airbnb has a certain country charm to it. It has everything you need for your stay. With a few trails to explore on the property. There was plenty of room to be comfortable. When we had trouble with the streaming services, the host came down and help resolved the issue. We would gladly book again if in the area!

This was a great little spot for our visit to Hocking Hills. It was far enough out of town to be more peaceful, but still close enough to Door Dash some food when needed! The house was quaint and cozy. My toddler enjoyed the toys.

This was a girls trip. We both loved the house and our host. Great amenities, comfortable beds, clean, and definitely a cozy feeling inside we will be back.

This is the second time we stayed at Jessica’s place. We would definitely stay again!

Kendric's AirBnb was the perfect place for a quick overnight stay! The room was exactly as described, parking was easy, and Kendric was very communicative. I'd be happy to stay here again for a quick trip in the future.

I’m a return guest and have absolutely loved every stay at Water’s Edge. Deni’s place is clean, cozy, and welcoming. Close to hiking at local State Parks and nature preserves, a short drive to local shops and restaurants in Athens, and a lovely, peaceful oasis to enjoy if you want to stay in. Deni is a thoughtful and friendly host who I feel privileged to have met and chatted with on several occasions. I will keep coming back as often as I can. Highly recommend!

My coworker and I had a comfortable stay in Jo Annes listing. She had excellent communication. The location was an easy walking distance to restaurants and convenience stores

Jennifer’s place was wonderful! Her and Dick were very hospitable. My husband and I traveled from out of state to celebrate my brother’s 60th birthday. They allowed him and my daughter and her 2 kids to meet there and enjoy their beautiful outside tranquility garden and they even built us a fire in the fire pit. They had popsicles and toys for the kids as well. They went above and beyond to make our time there enjoyable. I would highly recommend their Airbnb. A very enjoyable stay and some wonderful memories were made!

The decorations in this home is what made it for me. There are small accents of gold and black everywhere, and combined with all the beautiful greenery made it such a beautiful environment. The only thing I would change was that it was literally right off the highway (so you can imagine the traffic and car sounds that may occasionally occur), but that’s a personal thing, hence the five star rating. Sergio was an amazing host and was very nice throughout the whole thing, even calling to make sure everything was going well. 11/10 will be booking again.

Staying in Ashley’s loft for 2 nights was a fantastic experience. Absolutely everything was on-point. The loft is accurately described and was just as depicted in the photos. It’s a great space and we were very comfortable. The bedding and linens were clean, soft, and fresh. Ashley left us a nice welcome note, snacks, and lot’s of coffee. Communication was always prompt, friendly, and clear. The neighborhood was fantastic. We definitely hope to return whenever we visit Columbus.

Bethany was warm and helpful and accommodating providing an excellent recommendation for a local mechanic and taking us in last minute. Thank you for having us.

Juliana....thank you for being a nice host and easy to get along with. My son and I enjoyed your place while in town for his baseball tournament. Close to everything including the baseball fields. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch and watching the colorful neighborhood!

Great location! Free parking was a great perk, and it's not a long walk. Be prepared for some noise if you're staying on the weekend. The white noise machine and earplugs provided by the host helped a lot.

Highly recommend this condo! We booked this condo last minute and Andy made sure we had everything we needed before we checked in. The property was very clean and had a lot of cool amenities. Looking forward to booking again in the future when we are back in the area for work. Thanks Andy.

My husband and I stayed at Kyle’s place and it was beautiful and in such a great location. Everything was walkable and made it convenient for a weekend getaway. The inside was looked just like the pictures, was unique, and had everything we could need.
