Elpida, ein Traumhaus, in jedem Fall empfehlenswert. Sensationell sind nicht nur die Lage und der Ausblick sondern auch das Haus selbst. Wir (Ehepaar 63/61) durften im Mai 2025 Angelikas unaufdringliche und herzliche Gastfreundschaft genießen und hatten eine erholsame Woche im bzw. oberhalb des schönen Örtchens Mochlos. Wir haben rein gar nichts zu beanstanden, im Gegenteil - wir haben selten eine so tolle Unterkunft gefunden. Perfekte Einrichtung und sehr gut ausgestattete Küche, immer ein schattiges Plätzchen und sehr angenehmer Insektenschutz. Die steile Auffahrt auf den Berg ist nach der ersten Übung auch kein Problem. Der Duft der Pflanzen ist einfach wunderbar. My stay at the beach house in Pachia Ammos felt like stepping into a quiet dream. The house was just as shown in the pictures — and somehow even more beautiful, embraced by the serene rhythm of the sea and the gentle charm of a peaceful neighborhood. Each morning, I woke to the whisper of waves and a view so breathtaking it felt like time stood still. The warmth of the locals made the experience even richer, and our host Marilou was the soul of it all — gracious, generous, and sincerely kind. I left a part of my heart by the shore, and I know I’ll return someday

le lieu est très bien pour 1 ou 2 personnes maximum (peut avec un bébé) avec sa petite terrasse privée donnant sur la mer, tout fonctionne bien (wifi et climatisation), Maria est très réactive aux messages et les instructions sont très claires. le village de Cholmos est très joli. je vous conseille donc cet appart et ce village ! juste l eau chaude n est pas très chaude mais quand il fait 30 degres dehors ça va et pas beaucoup de pression.

What a find this place was. Beautifully restored traditional house in an amazingly beautiful village in the hills above the Pefki Gorge. The house is well provisioned and very tastefully decorated. Great ventilation and insect screens on the windows. We were there for a week and the temps were very hot, but we didn't need to use the AC at all. Wonderful local taverna - we went three times. Don't miss the Sunday night music and traditional dancing. Fanis the owner is very friendly and absolutely hilarious. A great local kafeneio - don't ask for a menu, just ask what's for lunch. Great views to the Libyan Sea - it is just 10 minutes down to Makry Gialo. Search around and you will find quiet beaches without rows of sunbeds if that's not your thing. A great base to explore East Crete, there are awesome mountain roads with cute villages and amazing views. Elina gave us great recommendations for restaurants and was very helpful. We loved this place. Would give it 6 stars if I could.

Sehr ruhig gelegene Unterkunft mit wahnsinnig toller Aussicht. Wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen. Das Haus ist super ausgestattet und hat alles was das Herz begehrt. In den umliegenden Ortschaften sind sehr schöne Strände, welche kaum besucht waren sowie kleine Tavernen mit super leckerem und günstigem Essen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour chez Maria. Le logement est spacieux, lumineux, équipé et authentique. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la vue depuis le balcon et le rooftop sur la mer et les petits restaurants. Mochlos est un village rempli de charme, à la fois animé et calme. Bref, nous sommes encore sous le charme de notre séjour. Maria est une hôte réactive et très accueillante. Je recommande vivement !

The villa is amazing, great views, very quiet (alongside a road but very little traffic) and the place was spotless. Beds and furniture all very comfortable. We were there for two weeks and linen/towels were changed mid holiday. Pool towels also provided. An amazing outdoor area, with table, well equipped outdoor kitchen, plenty of sunbeds and shade if needed. Quite honestly couldn't have asked for more. If we ever go back to Crete we would definitely stay here again ......... and a special thanks to Sophie who met us with the keys on arrival and was there on our departure.

This is our second time in Mochlos, we love it and Popi's apartment is perfect to relax and enjoy the views and surroundings. I can highly recommend it, we hope to stay again in the future.

Die Beschreibungen, Instruktionen und Empfehlungen zu Restaurants von Jean René haben wunderbar gepasst. Es ist ein ganz neues, modernes Haus mit sehr guter, neuer Ausstattung. Es war alles sehr sauber und schön. Schöne helle Räume, ein schöner Pool direkt am Haus, eine tolle Dachterrasse! Dank der Klimageräte in jedem Raum lassen sich auch heiße Tage und Nächte dort gut verbringen. Wir waren im Juni dort, da war der Strand noch sehr leer, aber alle Geschäfte und Restaurant hatten schon geöffnet. Und - ich habe es gestoppt - es ist zu Fuß zum Strand nur 1 Minute!

Poppy was amazing. So helpful, flexible and very friendly. The apartment is wonderful. Beautiful views and great location for the town and the beach. Fabulous place, spotlessly clean and really comfortable. Beautiful bathroom with really great shower. Bed was really comfy too! Perfect location, a short walk down to the sea and main town. Will definitely be back!

Wir hatten eine sehr entspannte Zeit in der „Shell“. Der Blick vom Balkon direkt auf das wunderschöne Meer war traumhaft! Da die zweite Wohnung oben während unseres Aufenthalts nicht belegt war, hatten wir diesen Ausblick ganz exklusiv. Der direkte Zugang zum kleinen Strandabschnitt ist so fantastisch! Man hat den Strand meistens für sich ganz allein oder es sind nur wenige andere Menschen dort und kann herrlich schwimmen und schnorcheln. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und mit allen Basics ausgestattet, die man benötigt. Das Bett hat für zwei Erwachsene eine gute Größe und ist sehr gemütlich, quietscht nur etwas, so wie es Metallbetten öfter tun. Die Klimaanlage benötigten wir Anfang Juni noch nicht oft, sie funktioniert aber super und sehr schnell. Koutsouras ist ein entspannter kleiner Ort mit viel einheimischem Leben und nicht allzu viel Tourismus, man kann dort wirklich toll zur Ruhe kommen - und sollte auf jeden Fall das extrem leckere Gebäck in der Patisserie Edelweiss genießen :)

Great host, very friendly and responsive. Great location, nice desk. Bed is OK. The only downside is the shower and toilet in general: absolutely terrible. No space to move and shower in, you are essentially showering over the toilet bowl.

The apartment was perfect for our 1 week stay. Everything in Ierapetra is within walking distance. George’s recommendations for beaches & restaurants are very good . The apartment is close to all the Ierapetra beaches and the boardwalk that goes along the harbor. Highly recommend.

logement facile d'accès , très fonctionnel , super market restaurants plages juste à coté , tout est très confortable et Istron se situe à 15 km de Agios Nikolaos et permet de visiter facilement le coté est et sud est ( avec véhicule bien sur) . Alexandra est une personne charmante et elle nous a offert quelques légumes et fruits de son jardin . Merci pour son accueil

Es wurde hier nun schon öfter erwähnt, aber es muss einfach genannt werden. Der Ausblick ist wirklich atemberaubend, es fühlt sich direkt nach Urlaub und Entspannung an. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, es gab super viele kleine Snacks und Aufmerksamkeiten wie frischen Salat oder hauseigene Eier. Die Babyausstattung für unseren Sohn war top, mit süßer Bienenbettwäsche, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Vielen lieben Dank, wir hatten einen wunderbaren Urlaub und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

I had the best time at George’s Apartment. The view is incredible, the little balcony very refreshing and the rooms absolutely convenient. I have loved the Meze Restaurant around the corner which is called The Hope and had the best time there.

Wir waren total begeistert! Die Wohnung ist etwas ganz Besonderes – mit so viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, dass man sich vom ersten Moment an einfach wohlfühlen muss. Alles war super sauber, stilvoll und gleichzeitig unglaublich gemütlich. Man merkt, wie viel Herzblut hier drin steckt. Ein rundum toller Aufenthalt – absolut empfehlenswert!

Alexandra et Maria ont été des hôtes pleines de joie et de bonne humeur. Elles ont été a nos petits soins du début à la fin de notre séjour. Nous avons séjourné dans l’appartement 1. On a profité de la petite terrasse avec accès privatif à la mer tout les jours. L’appartement ,est très propre et il n’y manque rien. Il est à 10min à pied des restaurants et du centre ville loin du tumulte touristique. La place de parking dans la cour est un vrai plus. Nous y avons passé un super séjour d’une semaine. Merci Alexandra et Maria pour votre gentillesse !

Wunderschönes großzügiges Apartment mit tollem modernen Design und mit einem einzigartigen Meerblick vom Balkon (Meer nur ca. 20 Meter entfernt). Alles da, was man braucht. Der Vermieter ist extrem freundlich und immer erreichbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. In der Gegend gibt es viele gute Restaurants alle in Laufnähe. Der kostenlose Parkplatz am Meer war ebenfalls perfekt. Von dort benötigt man lediglich 5 Minuten zum Apartment. Die zwar schöne Bar in der Nähe der Schlafzimmer war immer gut besucht und dementsprechend war es dort schon laut bis in die Nacht. Es ist Geschmacksache, aber die Betten waren uns zu hart. Ansonsten absolut empfehlenswert! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und immer gemütlich auf dem Balkon gefrühstückt.

We spent almost a week in this lovely apartment with our 2 year old and it was just perfect! The apartment contains few things but has everything you might need - it’s beautiful and cosy. Alexandra’s dad welcomed us and our daughter became a real fan of him (just like us, he was very friendly). We loved the proximity to the beach (so beautiful! And perfect for small children) and the nice taverns and cafes, while still being secluded. During two nights we heard some louder music (from a bar, maybe) but after closing the window that was also not a problem at all . Thank you, Alexandra, we really enjoyed our stay and could have easily stayed longer!

*Ein traumhafter Aufenthalt mit atemberaubendem Meerblick auf Kreta* Mein Aufenthalt in einem Airbnb auf Kreta war einfach fantastisch! Die Unterkunft bot einen spektakulären Meerblick, der jeden Morgen zu einem besonderen Erlebnis machte. Die Wohnung war modern und äußerst sauber, was sofort für Wohlbefinden sorgte. Besonders beeindruckt war ich von der Hilfsbereitschaft des Besitzers. Auf meine Anfrage hin wurden die Handtücher prompt erneuert, und als ein unerwarteter Sandsturm aufkam, kümmerte er sich sofort um die Reinigung der Unterkunft. Die Lage war ideal, mit vielen Restaurants und Geschäften in der Nähe. Die Strände waren atemberaubend, und ich genoss es, im kristallklaren Wasser zu schwimmen. Die Go-Anbieter vor Ort waren äußerst hilfreich und gaben mir wertvolle Tipps, die meinen Aufenthalt bereicherten. Die Kommunikation war unkompliziert, da sie fließend Englisch sprachen. Insgesamt war es ein unvergesslicher Urlaub, den ich jedem empfehlen kann.

Wonderful! Thats the word to describe our entire experience at Evi and Dimitris’ charming studio on the sea. Makry Gialos is a quaint, small, peaceful seaside village away from noise and hustle bustle. Just what we wanted. The village center was an easy, short walk away if ever we wanted. Being right on the beach; listening to the waves all day long…..it was just what we wanted. We prepared all our own meals. The kitchenette was well equipped for that. The bed was very comfortable…. Absolutely a perfect stay. We were sorry to leave. We’d definitely stay here again. Dimitris and Evi were easily accessible and responsive to any and all queries and questions.
