Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Ficuzza

Marina has set the bar unattainably high for any other AirBnb host! Not only was the house absolutely beautiful, it was clean, organized, perfectly located, and had every amenity you could think of (plus more that you didn't remember!). On top of that, Marina is a gem of a person. I've never been to the same AirBnb twice because we like going to new places, but I really hope to make coming back here an annual tradition! My children will remember Palermo forever. Thank you so much, Marina <3

We have been in contact with Andrea's brother. We arrived in a fierce storm, but we still felt at ease through the contact with him. We received plenty of tips and we could go to him with all our questions. The cottage is beautifully located next to an orchard with the possibility to sit in the sun all day. Nice bed and a kitchen with all the necessities!

We had an exceptional stay in this accommodation, perfectly in line with the listing. Located in the countryside, it offers absolute tranquility while being ideally placed to explore the northwest of the island. The hosts are of a rare kindness: warm welcome, small delicate touches, fresh fruits and even a well-stocked fridge on our arrival. The accommodation is typical, comfortable and very clean. Note the presence of some farm animals, such as dogs that can bark, but this adds to the rural charm of the place. Very nice house, I liked it very much. The house is old and atmospheric, inside there is everything for the kitchen and for the laundry. We went in a company of 5 people, plenty of space. The host is very friendly, downstairs there is a huge TV and a lot of subscriptions to streaming services. Beautiful view of the city, mountains and sea. Great! I want to come back again

Lovely rustic villa. Quite remote in the Madonie mountains and rewarded by fantastic views and sunsets. Very tranquil area. Good pool and beautiful pergola to sit and read and completely relax. Eleanora was very helpful and easily contactable for any query. We had wonderful weather and an extremely enjoyable holiday.

Nuccia was a wonderful host. The house is near the airport and has amazing lemon trees in the garden. Highly recommend.

Torre Granatelli was clean, tidy, charming and a haven away from the outside world. Check-in was painless we were given all the information we needed about the local restaurants and Maria went as far as to book one for us when we arrived due to the lateness of our flight. nothing was to much trouble. she was always there if we needed anything Torre Granatelli is a good 30-40 minute walk from the old town/harbour area, so we ended up getting a very good taxi that Maria recommended and used him to get to where we wanted to go when it was on the otherside of town and for the transfer back to the airport. All in all a very nice stay with lovely host/s

We have very much enjoyed a week in Ute’s lovely house. Well equipped, very private and quiet, we felt at home instantly! Nice (vegetable) garden, beautiful views to mountains and from roof terrace also to sea. Pool is lovely. Like I said to Ute: a real paradise. We hope to return in future! The apartment was wonderful, even nicer than the pictures and was so great to relax in after long days of exploring Palermo. The location was perfect just away from the crowded streets but central enough to walk every where including the station. It’s in a lovely square with a great bar and friendly staff that we enjoyed going to everyday! There is loud music from the bar until late in the evenings on fri & sat only but this wasn’t a surprise to us as other guests had mentioned it and it didn’t bother us. We had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to come back.

We had an absolutely fantastic time at Giovanni's place! It was paradise at this apartment, don't hesitate to book it. Amazing value for the terrace overlooking the sea and very close to lots of delicious restaurants. Giovanni was super responsive and very helpful during our stay, very chill. Lovely place right on the water with wonderful view of Mondello and the bay. 5 minute walking distance to the main square of Mondello. Cesare was a great host and point of contact during our time there. Would definitely consider staying again!

Flavia's place was perfect for our 7 day stay over Easter. Spotlessly clean and had everything that we needed for a wonderful stay. comfy beds. great shower and just enough supply's for a little bit of cooking. so central to everything in Palermo that we had no trouble getting around. Palermo parties over Easter late into the night so earplugs were needed but that is because we went to bed earlier than others 😅 would definitely book this apartment again

The apartment is BEAUTIFUL!! Our family of five, with three teens fit comfortably here. Plenty of space to have our time alone after three weeks of travel, that is needed sometimes. Loved being in the heart of old town Palermo just steps away from bars, food, grocery stores and sites. Totally walkable to a ton of sites. We lived to verandas. The host greeted us, took time to help us get settled, answered questions, we felt very welcomed! It is lively at night, and we didn’t mind hearing people enjoying themselves. Place is more beautiful in person! You won’t regret booking this place. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

Rosellina’s property is truly magical! I cannot say enough positive things about it. Rosellina and her husband are absolutely wonderful and we were welcomed with a delicious lunch and thoughtful treats and touches. This is such a loved and authentic home in one of the most breathtaking locations. We spent a lot of time swimming and snorkelling. The neighbours are their relatives and very friendly and welcoming. It was delightful. It is true that pictures simply can’t do it justice. They have everything you will need and it is was very well-kept, clean, and organised. The mosquitos in Sicily are not to be underestimated! They supply everything you will need though which was very considerate. There are stairs down to the house which was not an issue for us at all and nice because you don’t get any road noise. Parking is off the main road so you’ll need to get comfortable with Sicilian driving! It is more than worth it. You will be lucky if you can be Rosellina’s guests!

We had the most splendid 6 days at this beautiful villa. The views were beautiful and the area was very peaceful. The villa was exceptionally equipped, allowing us to cook, bbq etc. We slept really well and have come away refreshed and relaxed from our lovely stay. You will need a car, but this allowed us to take a trip to Agrigento and multiple visits to Cefalu. Anna and her husband were extremely kind and friendly.

Alessio’s place was incredible! Very spacious and had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Alessio communicated very well with very clear and concise instructions and went above and beyond to help us organise a boat rental and dinner suggestions. Scopello is a very special place and will stay in our hearts. We hope to return someday and if so would not hesitate to stay in this beautiful home again. Thank you for everything Alessio!

Olesia’s property was STUNNING - the photos don’t do it justice!! So spacious and well equipped, just a wonderful experience. It’s a 45 min walk in to Cefalu and pretty steep back but we had a hire car so no issues, just something to bear in mind. We had my 1 year old son with us and it’s not the most child friendly property (located on a steep hill, which is great for views but not for toddlers!!) but we absolutely loved our stay and I would definitely recommend.

The best Airbnb we have ever stayed at! The pictures are great and the home definitely doesn’t disappoint in person! The pool was the best part and was the highlight of our 3 year old’s trip! The property is gated with great parking and we felt safe and secure. The outdoor kitchen was amazing and we used it every night. Paolo and his family were absolutely amazing and so sweet to our family, they made us feel welcomed and like they genuinely cared about us. Coffee on the bedroom balcony was a dream and the views of the sea and mountain side were breathtaking! We cannot say enough wonderful things about our trip, we will definitely be back to stay! Thank you Paolo and family for allowing us to make lovely memories in your home! ♥️

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was absolutely beautiful and private for our family of nine, we felt right at home. Maurizio and his family were very helpful with check-in and throughout our stay making sure everything was good. We had cars so could easily go to town or take day trips and return to rest. We hope to come back and stay here again!

Stunning location. On the front side, the (small) mount Bonifato and the sea; on the back, hilly Sicily as far as the eye can see. Very peaceful, one can enjoy some days of calm here. Hosts are very welcoming and cleanliness was much appreciated. One point to consider for car entusiasts: in case of a lowered/sport car, the last 200m of acces road could be a challenge.

This is a really special property. Ignoring the fact that access to the property could be challenging for some, the property presents as a luxurious private space that allows you to completely hideaway if you wish. It is in a nature reserve and therefore the access road cannot be modernised and this is where the potential challenge lies. Just don’t try and drive a low slung vehicle and you will be OK. In my view, if you are a reasonably confident driver, you will have no problems. Don’t let this put you off using this property. The house has everything you will need and the host provides a copious amount of welcome food. The co-host meets you at the property and provides a very warm welcome and offers clear instructions. He keeps in constant touch with you throughout your stay. The host is incredibly friendly and responsive and quick to attend to any issue that may arise. This property is highly recommended.
