Cottage holiday rentals in Fiskardo

Lovely peaceful airbnb, very close to a small beach, and a 10mn walk into the town. Perfect for families. The house itself was very clean, and the beds very comfy. Communication with the host was very clear, we had an issue setting up the baby bed and the host came to help. The only downsides were that they had already turned off the jaccuzi (we booked for end of september and on the listing it says the jacuzzi is open that month), and there was not as many child amenities as listed. Better to check with the host when booking related to the above points.

Angela is simply the most wonderful host we’ve encountered. She was extremely welcoming and let us check in early as we were in the area. The house is lovely and beautifully decorated. All the basics are provided which is always great for international travellers! The pool was amazing with great views and we all loved spending time outside. Angela is very friendly with lots of recommendations. She really is the perfect host and I would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay on Maria’s property. The view and surroundings are beautiful and we loved walking outside to see the water. It was a very secluded and private area, which we liked, however the road to the house was pretty rough and bumpy. You get used to it after a few days, but be ready for a lot of dust and dirt on the car! Maria was very responsive and helpful with any question or concern we had. Overall, we had a wonderful experience!

Absolutely amazing stay at Villa Blue! My family spent 2 fantastic weeks at this beautiful property & it exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning panoramic view across the pool & the most amazing place to enjoy the beautiful sunrise & sunsets The villa itself was immaculate & thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need from kitchen essentials to pool towels, wifi & BBQ. The layout was spacious & comfortable, plus friendly cleaner every few days We all enjoyed the great pool Our hosts were fantastic, incredibly responsive & attentive, always just a message away & helped with local recommendations. Their hospitality was spot on. Meeting us on arrival to direct us to the villa was very helpful. We couldn't have asked for a better villa or base to explore Kefalonia. Greg’s place is a dream airbnb. Although I have been increasingly disappointed with Airbnb as host become more and more corporate, Greg’s place is a beautiful home built by his great great grandfather (you can see his signature on a stone near the entrance). It has been in the family since. It has functions as a home and a refuge. It is Amazon g to get to participate in the history of such a special place.

We loved staying here. Spiraggelos couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. The accommodation was in an ideal location - in the countryside but a very short distance to Argostoli. There were sandy beaches within 10 minutes by car and the airport was 15 minutes away. The house came with everything we needed and had a good size garden with olive trees and a hammock under a fig tree. We would definitely return.

What an absolutely perfect stay we had here. The most beautifully clean space with everything you could ever need included, two gorgeous little kittens, the prettiest garden and a breathtaking view. Check in was easy and our leaving gifts of herbs and marmalades was so wonderful. We will definitely be back, thank you so much.

We stayed almost a week in this nice and beautiful apartment in Svoronta. Even though the airport ist a 15 minute walk away, we never felt bothered by any kind of airport noise. The location of the House is close to the capital (Argostoli) and a good base to explore the island. The apartment itself ist clean and tidy. The hostess was extrordinary friendly and always happy to help. Her hospitality was remarkable. She told us about the sights worth seeing and where not to go. With her help we had a week full of special experiences. The Garden and perimiter of the aartment are well kept and extensive. The House comes with a friendly and happy dog and sweet and curious cats.

The accommodation exceeded our expectations. Large house, excellently equipped, in a great location with sea views and surrounded by nature. Only 5 minutes from the beach, where crystal clear water and pine trees await you. An ideal choice for those who want a relaxing holiday in a beautiful and quiet environment. Nantia and her family are extremely hospitable hosts, Nantia is very friendly, was always available and always had good tips on things to do in the area (the hiking trail 'Panagia' is definitely recommended), dining options (Taverna 'Varka' is definitely worth a visit). Nantia even rented us her car, which allowed small excursions to Kalamos village (you must visit Kalamos harbor in the evening for a drink or to eat). We are very grateful to Nantia and her family for a great vacation, it was the first time with them but most likely not the last!

We found this house last minute with a bargain. for the discount we were really sure it would be worth the price. Main attraction for us was silence and view. and it was almost all-time. sometimes some quads and cars goes by the road to join the blue cave but it is a short time in the whole day. at night you only hear the goat bell and that is a real luxury. The house is clean neat, the garden is full of flowers and gives privacy. İt is 5mn by car from Agios Nikolaos. For us who tried to avoid big touristic beaches, tried the east coast but to overcrowded so we tried the west coast. There is less and further but very good and more exceptional for us. we really did enjoy the place and we met the owner who were very very kind and welcoming. They are in a lucky spot.

Perfect experience! Everything was as advertised, even more. First of all, communication with the host was timely, active and without delays. We managed to find the place with no issues at all. Arriving at the house was a breeze, and felt right like at home. AC was up to the task battling with extremely hot Greek summer (38oC !). Shower and all other amenities were perfect. We were also able to use the provided washing machine and this solved our troubles as we were arriving there from a previous stay which did not offer that. The place is very calm, just 6km from Sami town which is port connection from Patras and offers amazing options for local restaurants, cafes, supermarkets etc. The most important is that it is just in the middle of the island, providing the opportunity to easily approach any other location without the need to drive long distances. High recommendation for families, group of friends or even lonely stayers! Couldn't ask for something more.

Makis and his family were such kind hosts who made us feel so at ease and welcomed for our stay! The idyllic cottage has everything you need to be comfortable and self-sufficient, with a wonderful patio space under the grape vines where we enjoyed sitting in the shade with our meals. The location is quiet with lots of birdsong and the friendly sounds of the chickens and geese from across the yard. If you choose to stay at this delightful Airbnb you will receive unmatched warmth and hospitality from a wonderful family on a marvellous island!

A wonderful house, beautiful sea views, lots of privacy and quiet location. Very nice terrace with a view and a garden. There was cleaning every 3 days. Christina is great host. Absolutely recommended.

Had the most amazing holiday here. Very restful with beautiful views from the balcony. Peace and quiet with just a couple of local bar/cafes and a well stocked supermarket. Very well equipped with everything we needed. Effie was almost instant with her responding usually within ten minutes when we contacted her. We had a wonderful week with our 2 children at Auntie Cottage. The atmosphere is just amazing, it feels like home. The cottage is perfectly equipped, nothing is missing. We particularly appreciated the cleanliness of the place, the comfort of the house (bedrooms, kitchen equipment, air conditioning, 2 terraces, outdoor shower...). The house is bigger than in the photos, the space is great for a family. Sophia is a great host who gives you a lot of information to enjoy visiting the area. She is also very kind and flexible to make your life easier during your stay. A gem that will make your stay on the island even more wonderful!

wow what a beautiful home ! Niki and her lovely family made us feel so very welcome they were so warm and very friendly. We were overwhelmed when we opened the fridge to find so many delicious snacks, and drinks. The homemade trifles and homemade moussaka they kindly cooked for us was absolutely delicious ! We felt very much at home staying in their beautiful house. The living room was so comfortable and spacious. The kitchen area had everything you could possibly need. The beds were comfortable. The hoyse was very clean and comfortable. We loved everything about this traditional home. It was lovely to sit in the pretty, spacious garden for breakfast every morning. We cannot thank Nikki and her family enough for making us feel so welcome. We have booked many airbnbs over the years and I can honestly say we have never been made to feel so welcome as we have in Nikis home. It's been wonderful, thank you so much.

Everything was perfect! Starting with Marika and her dad who are extremely kind. Very responsive to our requests or problems. A big thank you to Marika's dad, very discreet and with small touches... the oranges... a treat for fresh juice at breakfast! The house is beautiful, clean, it feels so good there! And the view, I don't even have words to describe how beautiful it is. Poros is a small town just 5 minutes' drive away. There is everything you need: grocery store, pastry shop, butcher, restaurant... Beautiful beaches not far away, we liked Skala and Kako Lagadi. We hope to return to Marika's, as our stay was one of the best we have had with exceptional hosts. The Krstic Family
