More Hobbit than Batman (no parking), this little cave house is built into the limestone cliff above the beautiful Provençal village of Cotignac. One of the most enchanting properties in the area, it has a garden with roses, palms, cacti and oleander. Panoramic view of the village. Parking nearby but the property has no vehicle access, only steep narrow path. This is the owner’s painting studio - easel available. Eagle owls nest above - no late parties/loud music. Fitness required

Villa Claudia (sleeps 6, 150 m2) is part of the Domaine des Palmiers which consists of three independent villas. The other two villas are not for rent. The house is surrounded by one hectare of pine forest and garden, with almond, fig and lemon trees. This house was the workshop of the painter Jean Miotte (1926-2016), it is a place bathed in light. In winter, the beautiful central fireplace allows you to enjoy evenings by the fire while enjoying Provence during the day.

Amoureux de paysage humble et envoûtant nous sommes tombés sur ce coup de cœur il y a maintenant une petite année. Nos réveils sont si doux avec ce ciel aux couleurs multiples le temps d’un café. Je ne me lasserai jamais de contempler ce tableau qui met un temps d’arrêt au temps. Nous aimons véritablement ce mas, vous pouvez vous y sentir comme chez vous avec le confort que nous en avons apportés comme si c’était pour nous.
