Skipperhuset

🏡 Skipperhuset is the oldest house on our family farm Birkenes located in Farsund municipality. The Skipper House was built in the 19th century and has been rehabilitated several times, most recently in the spring of 2021. In collaboration with a local painting company, we are working to make the house as authentic as possible, including wallpapering the living room, kitchen and hallway with skipper house wallpaper and linseed oil paint to preserve wood, etc. The Skipperhuset has a natural place on the farm and is located wall to wall with the brewery house which has a renovated baker's oven.

The cabin is located right by the water, two canoes are included and there is also a solid rowboat. The sauna located by the jetty can be booked if desired. Free parking about 150 meters from the cabin. Nice fish in the water, no need for a fishing license.

Hidra has a lot to offer in terms of attractions, fishing and nature experiences, but is also the starting point for trips to Brufjell, Flekkefjord city, Kjeragbolten, Prekestolen and many other exciting places.

Nice small and cozy patio to enjoy. Only 5 minutes walk to Flekkefjord city center and Alti center. It is also close to restaurants and cultural/outdoor activities. Extremely versatile property that is great for singles, couples, friends and families with children. Can also fit workers. Bed linen is ready, but must be put on yourself.

In The Longhouse at Lista in Farsund the cows and the swallows are you closest neighbours. From the large panoramic windows you will get a unique view of the North Sea and Norway's largest concentration of bird species. Living in this architectural gem is an experience. The traditional Longhouse has found new form and function in an impressive modern architecture which makes this place a unique retreat nature loving families, and groups. Alt av fasiliteter er tilgjengelig enten i minihuset eller i kjelleren til butikken Dirdalstraen Gardsutsalg like ved. Gårdsutsalget ble i 2023 og 2025 kåret til Norges beste gårdsbutikk og er en liten attraksjon i seg selv. Rett ved siden finner du en badstue som kan bookes med like god utsikt.

Gluba Treetop Cabins "Furunåla"

Cozy tree house in the trees at Harkmark for rent all year round. The cabin is well insulated and has a wood stove ready for use. Otherwise, the cabin consists of a small kitchen, toilet, one bedroom and loft with a double bed. Sofa bed with room for 2 in the living room. The outdoor area contains a large dining table, fireplace pan, and hammock. Below the cabin there is a lake where there are 8 canoes that one can borrow for free, as well as a lean-to with barbecue facilities.

Benedikte's house on architect-designed Svindland farm

Benedikte House is located about ten minutes drive from Egersund city center and about five minutes from E39. We have tried to recreate the hospitality of Benedikte - the last one who lived in the old house - in this modern and completely newly built farmhouse on the edge of the yard at Svindland farm. Here guests will find peace and quiet. On the farm there are horses, we have two dogs and a cozy peacock couple that walk freely. The house is very modern and well equipped.
