Holiday rentals with breakfast in Fontane Bianche

Paolo was a lovely host, very responsive and available with any recommendations you might need. The apartment is in a nice location right next to the beach.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and found Vincenzo a superb host. The apartment suited my needs perfectly and is superbly located for the public transport, Ortigia, bars, shops and restaurants.

The flat is connected to main house but it has its own entry. We spent there only one night, but flat was comfy and clean. It has an interesting design but in good way. We had inside parking. The owners are very kind.

We had a lovely stay at Giuseppe's place. It offered everything we needed — and in fact, more than expected! There were sweets and coffee capsules waiting for us, and we felt so welcomed. The house is renovated, very clean and homey, and located in the historic town of Augusta — conveniently situated between Catania and Syracuse. It's a great location if you're traveling in eastern Sicily by car. The house felt a little damp at first, which I think is quite common in older European homes, but since there was air conditioning in the bedroom, it didn't bother us too much. As we traveled during the Easter holiday, finding a parking spot was a bit difficult on the first day, but from the second day on, we found a spot much closer to the house. Giuseppe is very friendly, polite, and responsive, so we had a very pleasant time during our stay.

The apartment is a light bright airy home, well appointed with pretty much everything you could want for a comfortable stay. The washing machine is available for an additional cost of €35 per week. A particular highlight of the property is the south facing veranda and pretty garden which cleverly provides both sunshine and shade at all times of the day with breathtaking sea views. The only disappointment was that the near-by swimming spot was not as described. The coast line is indeed 150m from the property but the sea is not accessable at this point. We watched some people clambering over rocks and boulders for about 200m to get to the steps down to the sea. Unfortunately this was not possible for us at our age and level of fitness. If you're young and fit it may not be a problem for you. Why 5 stars? The property is in such an idilic peaceful location. Sitting with your morning coffee or evening glass of wine, on the veranda, looking out to sea, you can't help falling in love.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at Cristina's apartment. It was in a perfect location in the historic core of Ortigia. Clean, modern. nicely decorated and exactly as pictured. We are also Airbnb hosts and appreciate the care and thoughtfulness of our host. She was proactive and responsive. We did not have any issues. Everything was perfect. We highly recommend staying in this place and lovely Ortigia.

Daniela and Corrado are amazing hosts. They multiply attention and are always responsive and accommodating in case of any problem. The accommodation is very pleasant and well-equipped. The rooftop allows you to enjoy beautiful evenings with barbecue and stunning views of the sea and the Little Beach of Calabernardo. During our stay we were able to enjoy the beautiful seabed of the surroundings by snorkeling, discover the authenticity of the restaurant Al Vecchio Melo a few meters from the apartment and go to the towns of Noto, Syracuse and Marzamemi!

We had a wonderful stay at Antonino and Morena's property, of exceptional beauty. At the end of a private flowered path, in the beautiful Sicilian countryside, you will find the porch of a superb stone house, on a huge and very private courtyard of Masseria. The house is full of charm, with all the modern comforts, very well appointed, and with a splendid terrace with sea views, and a shaded garden. The lighting, in the evening, adds a very romantic touch to the whole. What a beautiful place, with a soul and a very touching poetry. Morena has given us multiple delicate touches and... we are already planning our next trip❤️.

Michele was very friendly and very flexible on our arrival and departure with a lot of services rendered during our 3 night stay. The kids really enjoyed the choice between the hot tub and the pool. Namely, the kitchen is separate from the accommodations and the sink with the water is outside but you get used to it and no worries when the weather is nice. Thanks to Michele for these few days, we feel that she really enjoys sharing communicating and doing a service for an easy stay.

Salvo was a great host. Responded quickly to communication and went above and beyond what is expected. Really appreciated his help with storing our luggage. The apartment is only a short walk to the city center and Ortigia and was good value for money. The free breakfast at a local cafe/bar was lovely and a real bonus.

I spent three weeks there, a lot of it working remotely, and the flat was perfect for me. There is a balcony (facing north) and basic stuff you need for cooking (although there's good food around everywhere). Town is some way away, 40 mins scenic route on the coast but it's quite a nice walk. There's a nice coastal route, too, going the other way that's good for running and cycling. I would stay again and, of course, as everyone has said here, Eleanore and her family are great! I felt I had all the privacy I needed but Eleonora was always available when I needed something. Thank you!

I stay in airbnb's 70-110 nights per year. On this trip I'll stay about 55 nights, 32 of which were here. Laura responds VERY quickly to messages. Literally the fastest I've ever seen. The apartment is very clean with great high ceilings. We had a number of issues (not the host's fault) and Laura was flexible enough to work through them with me. I would stay here again.

We had a lovely four nights , and knew it would likely be noisy because of being close to the market, but had not thought about the possibility of smells from restaurant’s air conditioning- we got used to that but I think I am especially sensitive to smells unfortunately! We found a wonderful swimming place five minutes walk away with rocks to sunbathe on and clear water protected from the open sea by large blocks under the sea.A very enjoyable stay improved by Anna’s suggestions , and providing swimming towels as well as extra bath towels during our stay. She also offered for us to stay Saturday late but unfortunately we had to get a plane at midday. Thank you Anna,

We stayed for 1 month in Corrados beautiful apartment in Avola - it is a great space, in a wonderful, quiet and peaceful location. Corrado and his wife are wonderful hosts, super thoughtful and kind, we really enjoyed staying in their apartment. Thank you! 👏🏽☺️

chiara was very proactive with her communication, flexible with arrival and departure times, extremely responsive when we had questions, and went above and beyond with some minor problem-solving. the kitchen is very well-appointed with tons of snacks (including homemade tiramisu!) and cooking essentials, and the balcony has a breathtaking view of pantalica. note that you may have to share common areas with other guests if they book the other bedrooms in the unit. i would definitely recommend staying here when visiting sortino!

Spacious, comfortable and well equipped flat in a charming mountain town. A kind and helpful host. I recommend! Sicily from a different perspective than the sea and the beach :)

Andrea & Daria were great hosts. Our Italian is fairly poor, so it was great to have hosts with great English skills to tell us about the area, their farm, talk about Sicily, help enjoy our time in the region and book us into great restaurants (Andrea even helped us deal with an unfortunate dodgy credit card drama involving a rental car company). Our room was large and clean. The bed was comfortable. For us the stay was not really about the accommodation as such (which was great), rather it was that we had great experiences sharing. Andrea had a pizza night and involved us in the experience (great to see the oven and kitchen in action). Andrea is a true B&B host, seems to love sharing, talking and helping guests. I think that is the key to what makes B&B Vinciucci so great. Plus breakfast was pretty awesome as well :)

We loved our stay at Tiziana's place! It was such a BEAUTIFUL property with lovely accommodations. Tiziana was super responsive and helpful and very accommodating of our schedule. We would recommend to anyone hoping to explore Siracusa (~20 minutes) or Catania (~20 minutes).

Roberto was immediately friendly and provided us with numerous tips and advice for spending unforgettable days. Roberto is an exquisite person, the apartment is very nice with a sea view, comfortable bed, private parking, pebble beach in the immediate vicinity and breakfast with a sea view. Valentino is very responsive and welcoming, the apartment is large and is just behind a small beach . We slept very well thanks to good bedding! The staff on site is lovely and the breakfast is excellent! Thank you so much!

Staying at Marta's beautiful, modern house was just fantastic. The rooms were clean and stylishly furnished, and the pool offered a perfect way to refresh in the picturesque surroundings. Every morning there was a delicious breakfast, lovingly prepared by Marta and Fabio. The landscape around the house is breathtaking and invites you to relax and discover. Marta was super friendly, communication was quick and straightforward. I am particularly grateful for the many helpful tips and suggestions to explore the area. I will definitely return!
