Cottage in a great location for visiting the area. The apartment is very spacious and perfectly equipped. The wood stove is really a plus in winter. Thanks to Norbert and Brigitte for their hospitality! We'll be happy to go back!

A gorgeous apartment in the best part of town. Super convenient, with public transport stops nearby and very walkable. I walked the 22 minutes to and from the main train station (Geneve/Cornavin) with ease. The neighborhood is quite safe at all ours with a large police station just down the street. Although the cafes nearby can be busy, especially on the weekends where they operate late, the newer windows offer excellent buffer from sounds of the street. Pure silence most nights. Great restaurants nearby, I highly recommend Les Antiquaries on Grand-Rue (closed Sunday and Monday). The apartment had everything I needed, was clean and secure, and the bed was very comfortable. Having a newly remodeled bathroom (with a great shower) and kitchen in Old Town is so nice. I will certainly look to stay here again when I return. Thank you Francoise!

Thanks to Dominique for her warm welcome, availability, and generosity. This home is in a peaceful area with a really nice view. It's clean and comfortable. This is by far the best-equipped Airbnb I have experienced in several years and countries. Dominique was kind enough to let me sleep a wedding night and was perfect in terms of hospitality and communication. A little gem ❤

We had a wonderful week at Marie-Paule's apartment. This was the most beautiful apartment we've rented on Airbnb so far. Spacious, very clean, beautifully decorated with high ceilings and a lot of character. Its location was also ideal, at the foot of the beautiful citadel and within walking distance of all the sites of interest and shops in the old town of Besançon. The apartment overlooks the front of a central square used to play pétanque and where there is also a pizzeria and a small grocery store. It is bordered at the back by the Doubs River that crisscrosses the city and a beautiful path along the river allows us to walk around the city in a bucolic environment. Marie-Paule and her spouse are very friendly, responsive and accommodating hosts. We hope to be able to return on our next visit!

The apartment was beautifully furnished, very clean, comfortable and absolutely functional. The bed was especially comfortable - we slept very well. The contact was reliable and very pleasant. We will be happy to come back!

Very nice studio. Located in a quiet place, it is comfortable and very clean. The place is easy to access (by car) and allows you to easily visit the surroundings, it is also close to a bakery and good restaurants. Christophe was very welcoming, he had provided us with coffee and bottles of water. Great stay.

Nice and cosy place. Felt very clean as well. The kitchen was well stocked and the welcome gifts were nice. If driving from Geneva/Nyon, there is some very windy roads to get here. The chalet was close to the french border so we went over for groceries - was like a 5min drive to Carrerour and Intermarche. Great to see something different!

Great weekend with friends, with the children in Edita's nice accommodation... We were able to enjoy a Jurassian interlude between hiking to the Hérissons waterfalls, tasting Jura wines by the fire while playing board games and breakfast at a large table in the morning... The cleaning was spotless, there is very good bedding, all the equipment for babies, books and board games for all ages... And I admit that the possibility of making a small fire in the stove once the coolness of the evening has set in is the icing on the cake. Edita was responsive to our messages and available. We highly recommend this accommodation if you want to discover the charms of the Jura!

Very nice place clean and matches the photos. The only small downsides to mention would be the toilet not separated from the bathroom since only one bathroom available for 8, (despite the presence of a toilet in 1 upper bedroom). Very narrow and slippery shower. 1 bedroom mentioned for 4 but we can rather say 1 child's room to share (not convenient for 1 couple) and moreover the room is through with 1 other so for not great privacy. Despite these small downsides, very pleasant stay, Sylvia is a charming host and was very good advice. The garden is really 1 plus. Our doggies loved it. Thank you we'll be back.

One of the best places we have staid in. Isabelle is a wonderful host and the place is well thought out. There were lots of small things that show guests are really thought of. Highly recommended place to stay - I only wish we’ve staid longer.

We stayed at Nicolas Airbnb for two nights as we were travelling from the North of England to Italy. We had an excellent stay - modern, spotlessly clean, excellent facilities, loads of space and a secure garden for our two dogs. We’re staying again in September on our journey back, would very happily stay for much longer.

We had a great time! Delphine was responsive, was able to answer all our questions and communication was very easy. Thanks for allowing us to reunite as a family in this beautiful place. The accommodation is impeccable, with lots of activities for children: games available, swing, swimming pool and jacuzzi. I recommend this listing 1000%!

Caledonia and her husband are lovely people and they helped me in many ways. Let me use their garden when friends came, gave me cherries from the tree and even gave me a lift by car twice without my having asked them for it. Outstanding people!

We absolutely loved this property. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet in the evenings but steps away from dining, bars and other activities. The area is very walkable. The restaurants and shops in the area are very friendly- we felt like part of the neighborhood when we left. We made many friends. Everything matched the description perfectly and the AC was cool and comfortable the one really warm day. We loved having a refrigerator and kitchen to reheat leftovers from the amazing nearby restaurants. I highly recommend this property and look forward to returning. The location, the team and the accommodations were perfection.

Very nice apartment. Very clean, good shower and comfy bed. Very secure and quiet. Big TV with Netflix access. The location is good for local cafes, shops (Carrefour is a 5- to 10-minute walk), and transport to Geneva.

We had a wonderful stay at Anne-Cecile's home in Gex. Her house is a beautiful, contemporary space that we absolutely loved—warm, spacious, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. It was also very clean and tidy, with a very well-equipped kitchen that made it easy to cook during our vacation. Gex is conveniently located just a short drive from Geneva, and we took enjoyable day trips to Montreux, Chamonix & Mont Blanc, and Annecy. The scenic drives through the Alps were especially memorable, with breathtaking mountain views throughout. Anne was a fantastic host—responsive to all our questions before and during our stay. Despite her very busy schedule, she even made time to meet with us in person, which we truly appreciated. Overall, our experience at Anne-Cecile’s house was excellent and left a lasting impression. We would definitely love to stay there again the next time we visit the area!

We always love staying in this place when we visit Geneva. It’s in a great area, close to the art history museum and quiet area of town. We’ll definitely be back!

The apartment is good, equipped with the essentials. Basically clean and tidy. Highly recommended for short stays. I would have liked a better equipped kitchen as it became exhausting for the longer stay to scoop noodles or other with salad scoops or not to have electric kitchen appliances. The shower is also a bit cumbersome because the shower head is not height-adjustable and there are traces of mold in the bathroom. But this is high-level criticism. It is a beautiful apartment and the hosts are very kind and always available. The location was also optimal with good public transport connections. I highly recommend the apartment for short stays.
