Rustic, Charming, 2 Story Log Cabin, seen on “Alaska: the Last Frontier"; part of our 620 acre Kilcher Homestead. Views of meadows, bay, glaciers, mountains. Walks on Kilcher beach. Settle into a more rustic, serene way of life. Wifi, electricity, hot water, and with private outdoor pit toilet/“outhouse”, and shared shower and WD and Near 2 other cabins on our “headquarter's site”, which is restricted to only 5 paying guests total. This is a working homestead, you’ll see us around being busy!

The Harbinson Homestead

This cozy log-cabin was built by hand in 1929 and remains a living work of art. Located in the rolling hills of Homer, just 20 min. from Downtown, this stunning old homestead offers an authentic Alaskan experience with mountain views! Accommodations: 3 beds (1 Queen, 2 Twins), a full kitchen w/running water, modern Toyo heater and wood stove, a tidy outhouse, and a genuine Nordic Spa (sauna/coldplunge). Yurt also available for rent on-site, check out Harbinson Yurt to accomodate larger groups!

Lazy J Homestead Cabin

Located 18 miles outside of Homer. Hand built here on the ranch in the style of my family's hunting cabins; with a few finishing touches. Offering a full kitchen, bathroom , shower, this cabin has electric lights and a oil heater in place of the temperamental wood stoves. Our area offers stunning views of Kachamack bay, our small ranch and peony farm. (An idyllic village that sits on the Cook Inlet, through which the lovely winding Ninilchik River runs.) 180 mile drive from anchorage and only 35 miles from famous Homer, Alaska on the Kachemak bay. You will have total privacy but if you need anything im a 5 minute walk down the road and always reachable by phone.
