We had a quick two night stay while visiting the area. The house was as listed and we had a great time. We loved the hot tub and the indoor space. Comfortable seating in the living area while we waited out the rain. There is a train that travels close by but otherwise had a great stay!

Very peaceful to stay put here--bring what you need and stay in these beautiful surroundings among birds and gardens and an art-filled home. Or spend time on nearby beaches and trails, wander the nearby small-town shops and nice variety of restaurants and look forward to a hot tub soak and campfire. Donna's home is welcoming and inspiring!

We stayed at Kimberly’s place for a girls trip and it was everything I had hoped it would be! We relaxed, boated, kayaked & went to town for the farmers market. The boat is a great amenity (really need a better anchor though 😅) The 1908 lake house was beautifully decorated & very homey! Perfect for our group of 5 ladies.

Leah’s place is so cute and very well taken care of. Minimal instructions, easy check in/out. It is walking distance to all of the popular kayak/canoe spots. Very quiet and peaceful at night. And beds/furniture were clean and comfy. Definitely recommend this place for a family or group!

The Place was clean and quiet. Beautiful trees surround the area. I am familiar with the New Buffalo and Union pier area. It was right in the middle of all the Restaurants. Sunroom was a great hang out. Yard was a large and private space to hang out and get a fire going. Of course, the koi fish was an extra bit of enjoyment, watching them. Would highly recommend this rental.

Our family of eight and a dog had a wonderful time here! The home was very clean, nicely decorated, and stocked with everything we needed. There were oodles of games and toys for the children. The hosts made themselves available if we had any concerns(we didn’t). Since we love the New Buffalo area, I think we’ll be right back here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at John’s place. House was super clean and comfortable. Loved the outside porch set up as well as ability to dine outside in bark yard. We always enjoy this area as the hiking for our dog is amazing.

Therese’s place was fantastic! It had a beautiful view of Freeman Lake and was a great size for six people. The cottage was a very relaxing place to stay with a deck to hang out and read, good space for catching up with family in a small gathering. There was a bit of confusion with check-in, since the instructions given in the listing were different from instructions we were messaged, but it was figured out quickly. Overall, we all had a fantastic time at the cottage, with great access to the lake, Monticello, and West Lafayette!

Great location in Union Pier and walkable to the lake and small downtown. Great house to spend a week or long weekend, Keith was super helpful and responsive.

You can’t beat the location. It was wonderful to be able to walk to everything downtown and not have to deal with trying to find a parking spot. This house is a duplex and having separate fenced in yards was ideal, especially if you’re traveling with pets. The layout was great and I appreciated the large living area. We didn’t use the kitchen much but seemed to be pretty well stocked with the basics. There was someone renting out the other half and we didn’t really hear them much, just their dog barking occasionally, so there must be pretty good soundproofing between the two units. Everything was clean and worked well.

My daughter and son had to stay for a couple days while we got our floors done and they absolutely loved it. The vibes were amazing, the people were friendly, everything went wonderfully. Thank you for being such amazing hosts and I will of course recommend this place to anyone who needs a peaceful getaway.

Quiet and peaceful cabin close to Burlington and Geneva Lake that we enjoyed exploring as a family. Exactly what we needed for a weekend gety!

We had a great time staying at Roger's place. Our daughter loved the toys and games and we loved the fully equipped kitchen. Felt right at home, very quiet and safe neighborhood. You are right across the street from the river and a playground and picnic area. Saw an otter, raccoons, fish. 20 minutes away from the Merrimac ferry and several hikes. Would highly recommend, especially for families with young children.

Amber’s place is beautiful and great for a peaceful getaway. Enjoyed watching the sunset from the back deck. Plenty to do in Peoria. I would recommend this place to friends and would consider staying here again. Very clean and well decorated. Also recommend Sugar Fire-Wood Bistro for delicious pizza (Peoria) and Blue Margarita (Germantown Hills) for delicious authentic Mexican.

This was the nicest rental I have ever stayed in! The quality of everything was top of the line, and Joe and Kelly spared absolutely NO expense to make this space truly fabulous. From the quality of the appliances and furniture, to the beautiful details in every room, to the handwritten card welcoming us and local chocolate and wine (which were delicious)...there was absolutely not a thing that could have made our stay better (other than staying longer!). We saw rabbits, tons of birds, turkey vultures, hawks, deer, chipmunks, and squirrels, and enjoyed seeing the animals in their natural environment. What a spectacular view! My boyfriend (whose birthday we were celebrating) said it was the nicest house he's ever been in, period. If you're a fan of FL Wright, you will adore this house and all the details that show the love and appreciation for his work. We will most definitely come back, it was worth every penny! Thank you, Joe and Kelly, for being as amazing as your cabin! :)

Great views of the Mississippi River and access to the bike trail along the river. Comfortable bed, pefect location for the area.

I enjoyed my time at Stephanie's rental! As described, quaint and cozy with an insular feel (which I liked) because of the spacious yard. Would definitely book another stay in the future!

This was our second time staying at the Fuller House. We had a magical trip with highlights including getting cozy by the fireplace and listening to records, setting up our tent in the backyard and roasting marshmallows over the fire, reading and napping in the hammock, and spending hours running around the property with our toddler and finding wild flowers, walnut shells, bugs, and swinging on the tree swing. We love this home and Krista and Jeff are very thoughtful and responsive hosts. We had a minor plumbing issue and Jeff came over the fixed it right away. Love this place and will definitely come back!
