Holiday rentals with a kayak in Fox River

My husband and I really enjoyed our week stay at Rock Lake. The big deck with a screened in lounge was perfect for Summer evenings. We used the lake toys and enjoyed bon fires. We will definitely come back!

Roger was a great host and the home is beautiful. We couldn’t find a toaster this morning but we’re in a hurry and I know if I would have asked him he would have led me to it. If there isn’t one, it’s absolutely the only thing we needed but couldn’t find. Everything labeled in the home was super helpful. Great views and deck! The absolute only drawback on space is that some of the neighbors didn’t seem thrilled we were there. We have teen boys and we were respectful and quiet, but the neighbors kept staring us down and did not seem to appreciate us being there. Fantastic house and host!

Audrey was an amazing host & her house was cozy! The house itself had plenty of things to do inside & outside of it but was also in the center of many different places to visit. Furthest we drove to go somewhere was 15 minutes. Would 10/10 recommend Audrey as a host & her home as a place to stay!

Waylon is a great host. He answered all of our questions and gave us several local recommendations.

This house is simply wonderful. It has the best beachy cottage summer vibes! The location is also great very private for being somewhat close to the city, and very close to Six Flags. We especially loved mornings on the deck and taking the kayaks out on the lake. Can't wait to stay again!

Great spot! Unfortunately Mother Nature was in control, so I wasn't able to enjoy everything they offered lol I would most definitely recommend and come back and stay again without a doubt!

We had a great stay here. We had a large party but felt like there was plenty of space to relax and spend time together. Kitchen was well equipped with appliances. Sound system was great! Lots of great games to play inside and amenities for the lake as well to use outside. Surrounding area is peaceful and relatively quiet. Easy to get to stores/shops via short drive.

My daughter and son had to stay for a couple days while we got our floors done and they absolutely loved it. The vibes were amazing, the people were friendly, everything went wonderfully. Thank you for being such amazing hosts and I will of course recommend this place to anyone who needs a peaceful getaway.

Me and my friends loved our stay, the place was exactly what we were looking for in terms of our getaway. Steve was a great and friendly host he was very responsive and put together when it came to communication with us. Would definitely recommend and even come again.

The Cabin was super cute and just as described. Every time I reached out with a question or request, Amanda responded promptly and helpfully. Would definitely book again.

Beautiful little lakefront home, even when getting rained in the extension on the home installed on the basement made inside only days exceptionally fun

Joshua was an excellent host. He was very responsive and flexible. The home was exactly as described. The yard was great for the kids to play in. View from the deck is beautiful and very quiet and relaxing. House was a great fit for our vacation. Bedrooms were very nice with comfy mattress and bedding. Bathrooms were stocked with a few essentials which is always a great touch. Living room / dining room area are beautiful and well designed to host a larger group like ours. We most definitely would recommend and would stay at the home again! Thank you Joshua for saving our vacation!

Angela’s cabin is the definition of cozy, charming, and relaxing. Tucked so close to the water, it feels like you’re floating on a houseboat! The one-bedroom space was just right for me, my husband, and our 13-month-old son. We spent our days fishing off the dock and soaking in the beautiful views. Angela was incredibly welcoming and always just a quick text away. It truly was the perfect spot for our little family getaway—10/10 would recommend again and again!

My wife and I really enjoyed this airbnb. We fully relaxed, enjoyed the sunrises and sunsets, beautiful - beautiful scenery. Caught some fish and cleaned them easily with the fish cleaning table. Any questions or concerns we had were answered in a very "quick" response time. When my wife and I left and evaluated our stay "We both gave this property and the host an "A++". Had a great stay! Place was beautiful and the location was great! Tiffany was very responsive :) The second bedroom was smaller than anticipated but it made sense due to the size of the house. The private beach you have access to is less than a minute walk and we caught some good fish over there. Overall had a great stay and would highly recommend staying here!

My now wife and I were looking for the perfect spot for a small intimate fairy tale wedding that had both lake and woods scenery, where we could tie the knot and have a honeymoon following. we immediately in love with this cabin, and never stopped falling more in love with it each day we were there. Shannon is the most AMAZING and kind host. The cabin has so many layers of thoughtful details poured into its timeless surroundings. We cannot WAIT to come back in the years to come for our anniversaries. THANK YOU SHANNON! 🥰

Really loved this Airbnb stay! Truly enjoyed the location, it was very peaceful. The host, Jolene and her husband were extremely welcoming and super nice. I look forward to coming back and enjoying a longer stay at this beautiful cabin.

Had a great time here with a group of friends. Loved having our dogs here with us, house was well-equipped for us to cook meals, enjoy the hot tub, paddle on the lake, play lots of volleyball, and relax indoors & outdoors.

From the time we booked we had feedback and communication, cant say enough about the attention to detail and supplies offered for our stay, comfortable, clean and just what we wanted for our getaway!! 5 star! If we could rate higher we would!!!

This was our second year staying here, and it won’t be our last! The atmosphere is perfect—laid-back, welcoming, and full of charm. The community truly makes you feel at home. Kelly remembered us from last year and treated us like old friends, even giving us some free worms to get our fishing started. The community fire pit is a great place to relax and meet new people, and the fishing is top-notch. We caught over 20 walleye between 15–19 inches and even landed a beautiful 33.5-inch pike. We’re already looking forward to year three. Whether you’re planning a family getaway or a trip with friends, Sabula is a hidden gem you won’t want to miss!

We had a great stay! Kids, parents, and grandparents all enjoyed everything the house had to offer. Hosts made everything easy and we were able to relax and have fun! Would definitely stay again.
