Guest house holiday rentals in Fox River

this is a gem. the place to book if you want to sleep near Chicago, outside of the city center rush, but at only 30 mins from downtown with the green line. The apartment is very well furnished (especially the kitchen !). Niles is an experienced host that provided us with recommandations and guidance for our stay. parking is free. Everything was super clean. check in and check out were smooth and independent. the quality/price ratio is good.

Cute stay! We had a wedding at Homestead Hollow and this place was perfect! Cute and fresh baked cookies on arrival. Entrance is on the backside of the house, but the host was super helpful on finding it. Plenty of room to spread out. Also exactly as described. It is a working farm with the family living there, but the space is as described. Although, it’s in the country - it’s also fairly close to lots of shopping, restaurants and parks.

We had a fun and relaxing time in the Cozy Green Cottage. The cottage itself was super cute, comfortable, and well apportioned with everything we needed. It's nestled in a beautiful little wooded area that was usually very peaceful and calm. We could open the windows and listen to the birds in the evening. The private beach is also very peaceful and pretty, and it was convenient to have beach chairs and towels provided. A short drive into both St. Joe and Benton Harbor provided lots of food and activities. Anne was very welcoming and responsive throughout the trip. We would definitely stay there again for future relaxing, long lake weekends.

Absolutely recommend this place! It is warm and cozy, with a massive backyard which was great for our dogs to play in and for us to relax in! It feels very private and has such a unique vibe! Ann was amazing, she was kind, friendly, and gave incredible recommendations! Mason Jar Cafe is a MUST! Highly recommend and hope to return soon!

Perfect and peaceful spot for a weekend stay while attending an event in the area. Charming little cabin with nice screened in porch and a sauna.

Sue's place is a true gem! Located in a quiet neighborhood, people who live there are very friendly. Everyone who saw my dog sticking out his head out of the car window smiled and waved at me though they probably knew that I am not from around here. Everything was very comfortabel in the house - the bed, the couch (it was the first time that there was a reclining couch in the bnb), lots of sweet treats and breakfast food in the fridge. I wish I would stay longer but I definetly will be back!

Mat was an amazing host--he was very responsive and instructions were clear. This place is in a beautiful and peaceful neighborhood close to great restaurants and a quick walk to the beach. Not to mention travel is easy and worthwhile being close to O'Hare and North side Chicago. Loved the stay and would recommend!

Tom and Charyl were amazing hosts ! We had open communication throughout our stay and even got a tour upon our arrival. The airbnb was everything as described and more ! The pool was incredible and the airbnb was only a 5 minute drive to the nearest beach. They even had a binder of recommendations available to us of local attractions/things to do. Our expectations were exceeded for this trip, and we can’t wait to come back !

Great place to stay! The hot tub was perfect, pool was a bit cold, but the outdoor space was amazing to relax. We took a nap outside haha. Everything was clean and accurate to description. Very romantic and cozy, Agna went above and beyond with a happy anniversary message as well!

Iginio is a great host. Stayed for seven nights and the home is close to everything that is happening in Milwaukee. Brewer games, ]close to downtown, Potawatomi Casino, Shopping, Harley Davidson Museum, State Fair Park and so on. This is the 3rd property of Iginio's we have stayed at. Whenever we are an area of one of his properties, he will always be our first choice. Pictures and amenities are exactly as described. Iginio goes out of his way to accommodate and his response time is quicker than any other host I have experienced. I highly recommend this property and Iginio!

Beautiful little house at the back of their lot, but surrounded by a solid white fence. Clean and modern, but cozy and private. Felt very safe. Easy street parking. Close enough to walk to restaurants and coffee shops near downtown Valpo.

We had a great stay here in Valparaiso! Loved the location! From the moment we arrived we were impressed with the views, the peacefulness, the birds singing, and the amenities. We really enjoyed the dome, sitting in the Adirondack chairs, the coffee bar, and the fireplace. The bed was super comfortable. This was a perfect location for us to visit the Indiana Dunes National and State parks.

The cottage was clean and easy to find. It had everything we needed. Had snacks and water for us. Clear instructions on how to get into the cottage. Will definitely be back. Close to downtown could walk.

Marty's place was absolutely peaceful, beautiful and was as listed. This is a very relaxing getaway! The home was very inviting and lovely. Definitely recommended. The geese that showed up were a huge bonus

The Boathouse Bungalow was perfect for our anniversary getaway. Check-in was super easy and the place was immaculately clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We loved relaxing in the patio chairs and on the dock. The kayak and giant see saw added to the fun. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks Mary!

This Is a charming little guest house close to everything you could want to do in South Bend. I highly recommend staying here and would do it again if I'm in the area!

the airbnb was so lovely and spacious for our party of 4! we had 0 trouble finding the home and had the best weekend in chicago reuniting with our friends from college. would def recommend - it is a quieter part of chicago. the walk to little italy is quite lovely and is a quick uber from the west loop

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. It was a peaceful, relaxing weekend getaway. We loved being able to sit on the back porch and enjoy the view. The hosts also provided everything we needed to go to the beach, towls, chairs, cooler, wagon, etc. That was nice to not have to worry about bringing those items with us on our trip. We are looking forward to a return visit.

The location was quiet and as described. The place was clean and cozy. Amenities were available in the kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom (extra blankets, towels, toiletries, iron, pots, plates etc.) I was able to come and go easily. Park in front of the garage as suggested, I parked under the tree and ended up needing a car wash due to the birds. Overall, good communication, quiet space, and nice location to many things in the Chicagoland area.

Everything about this spot is wonderful. The apartment is spacious, clean, and well-appointed. Each room is large yet still cozy. The bedroom has a large, comfortable king-size bed that makes you want to spend the day reading. The closet is a sizable walk-in space that can hold luggage with room to spare. The lovely bathroom looks brand new and fresh. The kitchen has everything one could look for, with cheery light and enough counter space to prepare a decent meal. All appliances and kitchen gadgets are available, including serving bowls and Tupperware. One of the best parts of the stay was the kind hospitality shown by Kathy and Paul. Winnie, their sweet dog, made our time even better. My husband and I were very pleased with our stay.
