Great apartment for outdoor activities newly renovated

We offer a furnished convenient 1-bedroom apartment for 1-2 people south of the Thuringian Forest. Our apartment is very comfortable and also has underfloor heating and Wi-Fi. The room is suitable for relaxing, sleeping and working. It has a cozy couch for up to 2 people. The kitchen has a rustic flair with a small table and two chairs. To the bathroom belongs a new shower, sink and a toilet. In the summer-time you can also use the terrace to enjoy the sun just outside of the apartement. In summer, you can explore countless trails in the Thuringian Forest. Unwind and enjoy in surrounding traditional pubs with traditional Thuringian and Franconian cuisine. In winter, there are many cross-country ski and skating trails. You can practice your winter sports actively or just take a relaxing walk in fresh and crispy winter air. For Cross-country skiers there is a variety of difficulties available, from simple to challenging trails. For skiers and snowboarders nearby slopes also rank from simple to challenging. At ski arena Silbersattel in Steinach, only 15 minutes drive from us, you can get the kick out of winter sports, even if you are just beginner. The area further offers the residence of Coburg (Bavaria), the Upper Main-Therme Bad Staffelstein (Bavaria) and the Meiningen Theater which are all worth a visit. Since we live next door to the apartment and are very familiar with the area, we also give you information about outdoor activities and other attractions in the area. The vacation home is quietly located, without through traffic, directly on the edge of the forest, with a nice hiking trail. In the area, there are cycling and excursions to sights (e.g. Gold Museum, Rauenstein Castle Ruins, and much more). For children there are great highlights here: In the vacation home itself a huge playroom, in Sonneberg the Exotarium, toy museum, toboggan runs, ski slopes and much more... Also suitable for ski fans! There are great slopes in the area.

If required, another accommodation and food can be requested on request, next door in the inn.

The quiet yet central location makes our apartment a good choice. In summer, our courtyard offers a unique flair. Use it for eating, playing, getting together & enjoy nature and the loving details that make this place special. Opposite is a butcher shop. Fantastic location! Unfortunately, we were only there one night. The surroundings are simply wonderful. In the apartment, I felt a bit like in a mountain cabin, which I liked very much. A good choice in the area. Communication with Michael was very friendly and straightforward.

Very clean and cozy apartment in a quiet location, Swen could also recommend us restaurants nearby and informed us about the travel times of the train. We felt very comfortable and can absolutely recommend the accommodation.

We were warmly welcomed and moved into a very neat and cozy apartment. There's nothing to complain about. The family is very accommodating, even turned the heating back on upon request and provided their private laundry rack in the family garden. We'll be very happy to come back.

The Fischerhäuschen impresses with its idyllic location on a farm in the middle of nature. Surrounded by nature and animals, you can quickly relax away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. Right in front of the door, hiking trails open up, regional cuisine can be taken in the immediate vicinity, here the tips of the hostess were very helpful. The communication was friendly and extremely attentive, very pleasant. Next door at the organic farm, you can buy fresh eggs and sausages from our own production, and the city of Bamberg is not far away. The rushing animals, from peacocks to geese to cats and horses, spread joy and the running ducks bring smiles even on rainy days. The fireplace provides additional warmth.

The house is an experience. Each room is furnished differently. It was great for our family weekend with 16 people. You could have breakfast outside and the opportunity to play table tennis was also great. There was ample parking for 5 families. There is also plenty of space for everyone inside the house.
