Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Fredericksburg

Our stay was perfect, the property is beautiful. The house was a great fit for our family of 5 adults, including my father who was joining us. The 3 full bathrooms make the stay very stress free. Larry and Kimberly the house were extremely good at communicating. Great stat would recommend.

Less than .5 miles from sand . The kids loved staying at the house versus a hotel ! Was the perfect spot to relax and go on the deck to hear the water . Would definitely go back for another vacation.

We had a great time at Greg’s and Nicole’s place! I highly recommend it. We especially appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was, as it is somewhat rare to find when staying at a rental.

We had a wonderful stay at Old Blue. Beautiful country getaway not far from the heart of downtown Culpeper. Debbie was very responsive and helpful. We will definitely be back when we visit again!

The place was really well set up. the drive up is a bit confusing the first time for sure. The house has everything a couple could need. Little bit of privacy, a nice space and a close proximity to a couple of small towns. The house was clean and had plenty of blankets, towels etc. Only negative (and it's a nitpick cause there was a lot of rain the weeks leading up to our stay) but the back deck furniture was covered in mildew and dead leaves. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Very clean, great place to stay

Our family of 6 stayed here for a short vacation. The house was beautiful & location was great for what we wanted to do in Virginia. Loved that there were king beds in every room--no fighting over who gets the big bed! The hosts were responsive and helpful. Would recommend to anyone traveling to the area!

Would definitely stay here again! We came as a larger group of 9- there was plenty of room for all! My son and nephew spent the entire weekend fishing off the dock while others played yard games (included in rental). Beds were comfy, kitchen fully stocked! Location was perfect - not too far from "civilization" yet surrounded by woods and felt very private. Communication with owner was always easy and responses were fast. Do not hesitate to rent here!

Such a great space with everything you need. You’ll enjoy your view in the comfort of the space. The view and the environment were great but having a place to be comfortable in was even better.

It’s a cute little place. I just was not in it long enough to enjoy it because I went for a graduation and was only there for two days. I would probably reserve it again in the near future.

John and Adam were excellent hosts. There were very responsive to my questions and issues. I loved the grounds and very well stocked kitchen. I would gladly stay there again.

My family and I spent the weekend in Washington, D.C., and we were fortunate to find Emily's place at the last minute after our previous arrangements fell through. It was a wonderful experience, and the hosts were lovely people! The only challenge we encountered was the noise in the early hours of the day. However, I don't consider this a complaint; it's just something to keep in mind when booking a co-living space. We discussed the possibility of noise with Emily beforehand, so again, it's something to be mindful of. Overall, meeting this interesting and cool family and their dog Charlie was a good experience and an absolute pleasure!

They were beyond amazing—thoughtful, responsive, and genuinely committed to making sure we had everything we needed. When we had an issue with the refrigerator, they didn’t just fix it; they replaced it with a brand-new one within two days! Their kindness and efficiency made us feel incredibly valued as guests. Spending a full month here, we truly got to appreciate how well-maintained and well-equipped the apartment was. It was a perfect home away from home, and we are so grateful for the hospitality we received. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fantastic stay!

I stayed at Smirna's place with my fiance and sister for a few days and it worked well for three adults. The space was comfortable, well equipped, and very well maintained. Check-in was a breeze. The location is an easy drive from the Dulles airport and has good access to the highway into downtown DC as well as the DC metro and a number of nice suburban communities. The spot was perfect for us and I would recommend it to other travelers.

John was a wonderful host. His home was in pristine condition. The property was very peaceful and the land was beautiful. I’m planning to travel frequently to Virginia and this will be my first choice. Phenomenal experience!

We stayed at this Airbnb for a bachelorette weekend with six adults, and it was absolutely beautiful—both inside and out. Three of us stayed upstairs, while the other three used the bunk beds, which were surprisingly comfortable and conveniently located near a full bathroom on the same floor. We were especially relieved to have a screened-in porch, which made it easy to enjoy the outdoors without worrying about bugs. The house was thoughtfully stocked with essentials, including a charming coffee bar and plenty of towels. Overall, we’d absolutely recommend this spot for a fun and relaxing mountain getaway!

Timber Creek Lodge was a very comfortable setting for a romantic weekend getaway! Stocked with everything you'd need, and nestled in a private, wooded area.

This is one of our favorite ABNB stays ever. The cabin was spotless, comfortable, and perfect for what we needed for the weekend. The location is perfect--on a quiet dirt road, close to lots of great hiking trails, really the best of the Virginia mountains at your door. Lastly, our hosts were very responsive and the place is well priced. We will definitely be back.

We loved this cozy cabin!! from the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The house was spotless and stylishly decorated. it was thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need. The layout was perfect for our family of four... spacious, comfortable and welcoming. The location was ideal, tucked away in a peaceful area but still close to everything we wanted to explore. We especially loved relaxing in the hot tub in the evenings and waking up to the serene surroundings each morning. every detail, from the fresh crisp linens to the plentiful amenities made it feel like a true home away from home. The hosts were fantastic! Matt was communicative, kind and clearly takes great pride and maintaining this property. We have stayed in many rentals and this one ranks as one of our favorites. If you're looking for the perfect blend of comfort, charm and convenience, this is the place. we're already talking about coming back!
