Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Freshwater

We had a really lovely stay at West Bay. It’s set in a peaceful, green spot with lots of outside space. The house is beautifully kept, spacious, and well-equipped, with everything we needed for a relaxing break. It’s an easy walk into Yarmouth and close to the ferry, which made things very convenient. A great base for exploring the Isle of Wight – we’d definitely stay again.

The lobster pot was beautiful place. Fantastic views and beach. Restaurants near by were lovely and relaxing. The place was perfect for family of 4. Watching the sail boats while eating breakfast / dinner was amazing. Warm weather allowed us to eat on the patio watching the sea and some boat races. Everything we needed was provided, for self catering. Neat clean and tidy. The kids loved the lobster theme. I can’t fault the place.

It's a big and cozy house that will be a great fit for a big company. The kitchen is well equipped and has lots of dishes/cutlery/cups etc. The house has lots of boards games as well. Overall, we had a great time!

Our third year … superlative location 💯 Claire , an absolutely brilliant host , glorious and unique location , roof garden , balcony , peace and stunning accommodation . We will back next year as stunning base for island , beaches and all great things . Yarmouth so close and lovely . Endless amazing walks . We had a wonderful stay at King’s Orchard. The house was perfect for our stay, with everything we needed. The extra touches like yummy fresh bread, eggs, milk and butter enhanced the experience. Susie has thought of everything to make your stay and real home from home. Anytime I had a question Susie answers super quickly and even gave us a coffee machine when I enquired if there was one! The views, peaceful surroundings, coastal walks and cycle routes are all right on your doorstep. Highly recommend a visit and we will definitely be back !

Spring Hill is beautifully situated and the views are stunning. Waking up to views over the sea and cows and horses grazing in the fields was very special.

Accom was clean and as described. Great communication from hosts and pleasant stay all round.

We had a really lovely weekend stay at The Bolt Hole with our two boys and dogs. The house is in a great spot with lots of walks and things to do nearby. The garden is so beautifully kept, however, that it was hard to tear ourselves away! Claire and Buster were very accommodating and helpful. We wouldn’t hesitate to go back again.

Seascape is a quiet, spacious and well decorated apartment next to the sea, and within walking distance of the Ryde passenger ferry, bus terminal and town centre. It's good base for exploring the Isle of Wight or just staying in Ryde and taking advantage of the local facilities. The interior is very comfortable and of a high standard. We were very pleased to find some provisions on our arrival, including a loaf of bread, butter, milk and eggs, as well as some ice creams in the freezer. My partner and I would strongly consider returning at a future date.

Helen’s place was exactly what we needed after our long travels! I felt like I was staying in a Grandma’s house, it was so comfortable and homey! The surrounding area alone made the stay worth it! New Forest is incredible and a peaceful place to stay like Helen’s was icing on the cake!

Very friendly host, the apartment was as described and very homely. A nice touch was the tea, coffee and bread for toast to kick off the day. The shower was nice and hot and clean and the sitting room and bed very comfortable.

We had a very enjoyable stay. Jillian was very welcoming, the parking is easy and the apartment very comfortable. The location is ideal for us just off the top of the High Street. We will be returning!

We had a great stay in Lymington. The flat was very light and airy and extremely clean. It was ideally located at the end of the High Street, so that it was not far from the station, the shops, restaurants/pubs and Lymington harbour. Everything was a short walk away from the flat. We had a great harbour cruise with Puffin Cruises on the Saturday morning. The Ship Inn was less than a 5 minute walk away from the flat and we had a delicious meal there on Saturday lunchtime. This was our first visit to Lymington and we would love to return and stay again in Reagen's flat.

Chris, is a great host. Very helpful and always responds to messages. A welcome bottle of wine was left in the fridge, along with coffee, tea and biscuits. Ventnor is a beautiful place, with many restaurants. The walks are beautiful. It is also a great base to get around the island, Shanklin is a 15 minute drive The sound of the sea is so relaxing to hear. The flat was clean, like a home from home with all the amenities that you could think of. We hope to return.

The room was perfect and cosy, the view of the sea out the window was amazing!

Really good, clean, well equipped apartment. Very well located for access to the town and beyond, although obviously that does mean there is a bit of traffic noise but not too intrusive. Had we been travelling in peak summertime, personally we would have sought outdoor space but the apartment was described accurately and suited our needs perfectly. Host is very responsive, helpful and genuinely polite and welcoming.

This little apartment is a little gem, centrally located you can travel to the main places of interest in about 30 minutes. Great pubs and restaurants within walking distance of the apartment and the lift made being in the loft apartment so easily accessible.

We had a wonderful stay, the apartment was perfect and exactly what we wanted for a few days away.

Very sweet little cottage, beautifully decorated with everything you would need inside of it. Great location, with a nice pub down the road. We would definitely stay here again and recommend for all. The only downside is that it is situated on a busy road so at night you can sometimes hear the cars, but we didn’t mind.

A delightful apartment situated in the heart of the beautiful historic town of Lymington. It was well appointed, tastefully decorated, fully equipped and spotlessly clean. The walk in shower was great. We would return in a heartbeat…..

This place is really thoughtfully set-out. There's everything you need and the hosts have gone above and beyond to lay out clear instructions for everything you might need. The bed was comfy and we really enjoyed staying there. We didn't have a car, but were there for an event hosted right next to it - there's not a lot you can easily walk to, so if you're there for a weekend, you might want to bring / hire a car. However, there's a great pub super close by which also does breakfast and has a great playground for kids. Ideal if you're going to do lots of walks / hikes.
