The "Hühnerhaus"

The hen house is located in the middle of the beautiful Permagarten, below a former monastery, on the Katzenhof in Bachhaupten. Gabi and Guido live their dream of independence here and want to expand the farm sustainably and suitable for grandchildren. For example, the walls and ceiling of the hen house were made from the over 200-year-old plank boards of the main house. The "gray water" is used in the garden and the "separating toilet" works without drinking water flushing. The vacation rental is located in the basement of our residential building and has a separate entrance. It consists of a living/sleeping room, kitchen and bathroom. The living/sleeping room is bright and friendly, equipped with a double bed with a lying surface of 1.60 x 2.00 m. Extra bed 0.80 x 1.90 m or children's travel bed for 3rd person if necessary. Both not possible at the same time. Bathroom with shower and toilet. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen. Highchair will be provided if needed.

A special retreat, located close to the city and at the same time in the middle of nature: This is the Junior Suite (no kitchen) Perfect for travelers who like walking, jogging, cycling, relaxing at Lake Constance (20 min.) or hiking or skiing in the Alps (approx. 1 hr.). Ravensburg (5 km) with 50,000 inhabitants invites you to go shopping and visit various sights. Very popular with children is the attraction park Ravensburger Spieleland (11 km). Breakfast can be booked for an extra charge.

Big and cosy room 11 km from the lake of constance

Our nice 25 sqm room with bathrooom is located in a little village with green and quiet environment. If it's clear you can see the alps from the garden. You will have your own entrance. In 1 km distance you can find a supermarket and a restaurant in the main village of the community. You can reach sites of interrest at the lake of constance like Überlingen (18km) or Konstanz (42km) and Bodman-Ludwigshafen (11km). A nice little public pool (Naturbad) is very close, only some minutes to walk.

Quiet apartment for relaxation

The granny apartment is in a very quiet location without through traffic at the edge of the forest. The surroundings invite you to take long walks, bike tours or hikes. The apartment has about 40 square meters of living space and has a separate entrance, as well as a terrace overlooking the pond. Überlingen on Lake Constance is in approx. 15 minutes by car. The nearest swimming lake Illmensee or Pfullendorf is also in approx. 20 minutes.

Beautiful farmhouse in the countryside

You will stay cozily and authentically on 24 square meters in our "Bauernstüble." In the living room, there is a dining area, a wardrobe, sofa and satellite TV. A staircase leads to the sleeping area with a 140 × 200 cm mattress. Adjacent to the entrance area is a small but fully equipped kitchen. A modern bathroom with underfloor heating and daylight completes the apartment. A washing machine + dryer can be used for €4 per load.

Immerse yourself in the timeless artistic charm of this attic apartment, furnished with attention to detail. My apartment in Überlingen is in a very quiet location on Lake Constance. As a guest, you can park directly in front of the apartment. If you want to use public transport, you have a 3-minute walk to the nearest bus stop. Feel free to store your wheels. Lake Constance/downtown is about 20 minutes' walk away. You can also have breakfast in a sunny location in front of the apartment. Private parking space for the car and 2 bikes.

Lake time

The apartment, which was completed in the spring of 2018, can be reached via an external wooden staircase. Now nothing stands in the way of a relaxing "lake time." With one bedroom, an open living and dining room, bathroom, kitchen and two balconies with great lake views, the apartment offers an ideal retreat for a great vacation. Enjoy your stay with us. Historic farmhouse in a quiet location

The apartment has been newly built in an old farmhouse (anno 1833). During construction, care was taken to use as many natural building materials as possible (wood, clay, hemp). The partitions were designed as half-timbered walls. The living room forms a room with the kitchen. The apartment is about 60 m² and is barrier-free.
