The "Hühnerhaus"

The hen house is located in the middle of the beautiful Permagarten, below a former monastery, on the Katzenhof in Bachhaupten. Gabi and Guido live their dream of independence here and want to expand the farm sustainably and suitable for grandchildren. For example, the walls and ceiling of the hen house were made from the over 200-year-old plank boards of the main house. The "gray water" is used in the garden and the "separating toilet" works without drinking water flushing. The bus stops towards Friedrichshafen and Meersburg / Überlingen are right outside the door. The lake is within 5 minutes walking distance and the outdoor pool is within 3 minutes walking distance. There are various restaurants (hotels, Thai snacks, pizzeria, etc.) in the area and all within walking distance.

The Loghomespace apartment is located on the lower floor of the log house. It is lovingly decorated and has everything you need for a stay in a vacation rental. The log cabin is located on the Haselbachhof, which is run by our family in the 3rd generation. The region is also called Mostindien, because of the many apple trees. There are 450 trees on the Haselbachhof, plus 40 dairy cows, 10 Angus suckler cows, 10 horses, a few sheep, cats and dogs.

In our former, newly converted barn, we offer simple but fully equipped 44 square meter accommodation for uncomplicated guests. Our farm is located in a quiet and beautiful environment. We run an organic farm with cows, chickens, horses and cats. Our garden invites you to linger and in case of rain there is a covered seating area. A sofa bed is available for a child, and a travel crib can also be accommodated. Welcome!
