Beachfront holiday rentals in Frinton-on-Sea

The house was beautifully positioned/appointed with wonderful open plan living room and kitchen. bathrooms were all spotless, modern and well presented. Light, airy house with wonderful views of the surrounding sea. A special find, allowing good friends to enjoy some precious days walking and cycling in the glorious surrounding countryside. Host was very attentive and easy to contact - would highly recommend.

Had a great stay at Natalie’s place, it was very clean and well equipped with easy access to the sea front. Prefect location for our dog walks on the nature reserve. Highly recommend the accommodation.

I have stayed at Greyfriars many times over several years and have stayed in all of the apartments which have always been spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. When I go to Clacton/Frinton I always stay at Greyfriars. This visit was no different, easy check-in and good communication, everything was as described and it felt like coming home :-)

We rented John’s hut to spend a day at the beach with friends. The hut was exactly as described and very well located, close to the cafesnand shops, the toilets, and the parking spaces. It contained everything you can need for a perfect day at the beach! Would definitely recommend it and would consider renting it again in the future.

Wow! Lee's place is bloody lovely. It had everything we could have needed. The garden was a great spot to sit in with a coffee & perfectly secure for our dog too. Thank you so much for the use of your home. And such a perfect place for beachy walks too; literally 5 mins walk to Dovercourt Beach, 10 mins walk down to the cafe & amusements (which my teen boys loved). We had a lovely break

The place was really good location Clean ,tidy Only thing we would say is the bathroom and bedroom would benefit from a Venetian blind Like the kitchen one As we had to keep the curtains in bedroom and roller blind in bathroom shut all the time as the windows were big and felt looked upon from people outside We would definitely stay again

We had an absolutely brilliant and relaxing stay – the accommodation was lovely and really well thought out. The beds were comfy, and we slept well throughout. One of the real highlights was the local wildlife – we were amazed by how close we got to nature, and being (lightly!) stalked by the cows definitely made us smile! Would love to come back soon.

This property is stunning and has the wow factor. If you need somewhere to stay locally, this is it. The property is welcoming and has everything you need and more. I arrived late and checked in around 10pm and had to leave early so unfortunately I didn't get to spend much time there, however it was a lovely comfortable short stay. Very close to the beach if you want to wander down there.

We have stayed at Cooper's Beach before, but never in such a lovely motorhome. The motorhome was spotlessly clean, well appointed and modern - it felt quite luxurious! And that is before we factor in the location. It is perfectly positioned near all the amenities: the clubhouse, the pool, the playground and the beach. Rohan responded quickly to our queries and was an informative host. It was a great place to stay and we had a wonderful trip.

Jenny, I hope you like my review, we enjoyed our short holiday in your caravan. I think you will need to fix some of the furniture, like the wardrobe door in the double room. Otherwise everything was fine, thanks. Peter

We had a fabulous stay at the caravan, it has everything you need and is very comfortable. It is very clean and cosy. Tracy is the best host and goes beyond helping you feel at home. The site in June was quiet which is what we like. There are wonderful walks on the doorstep and the beach is two minutes away. Mersea island is a little gem!

Will stay again if possible. Nancy made us really welcome and being right on the beach was lovely. Cosy cumfy and Nancy left us supplies which were very helpful. Lovely break for two 84 year olds Thanks again Nancy. B n.

For me and my family this was an ideal place to stay. Had great restaurants and pubs in a short walking distance. We enjoyed the caravan as it was exactly what we needed for a weekend away in Felixstowe.

Hazel’s place is a fantastic place, right on the beach front and short walk to the facilities in this lovely holiday park. Had everything that we needed, all clean and well equipped. 100% recommend!

We had a lovely family break in Clacton-on-Sea and couldn’t have been happier with our stay at the lodge. From the moment we arrived, we received a very warm welcome from the owner, who provided lots of helpful information about the area. The lodge itself was perfect for the three of us — it had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay, with the added bonus of a lovely deck to enjoy the sunshine. The location was ideal, just a short drive from the pier and the beautiful beaches of Clacton. We highly recommend this lodge and would definitely stay again!

This was our second visit to Magda and Jon's apartment. Everything was as described, clean and tidy with fantastic view. The towels folded into the shape of two swans was a lovely touch on arrival! I can highly recommend staying.We will definitely be coming many more times

Great host and hut! Would recommend to anyone looking for a beach hut day in Felixstowe. Close to a lovely cafe and toilets plus a beautifully designed and comfortable interior.

Comfortable home in peaceful location but near to the beach, very pet friendly. Mersea island is a lovely location. Plenty of lovely pubs within 10min walking distance. Mel is a fantastic host, very friendly and goes out of her way to make your holiday special.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home on the seafront. It was spotless on arrival and far exceeded our expectations – the photos don’t do it justice. The house and hut are full of thoughtful nautical and Frinton-themed touches. Whilst some floorboards are creaky as it’s an older home, it adds to the charm. It’s well equipped, with a lovely garden, garage and even lovely neighbours! The high street is a pleasant 15-minute walk. Jo was fantastic – responsive and helpful. Our toaster broke and a new one was sent the next day. The only downside was check-in/out times had changed from what was originally advertised when I booked, which was tricky for us with a baby, but the host kindly offered early use of the beach hut for the day we arrived. If the cleaner were ever able to shave a couple of hours off the cleaning window, an earlier check-in and later check-out would make this already lovely stay even better. We made some really special memories here and would love to return!

spotlessly clean and very comfortable. would definitely stay again. the only slight disappointment was that the description referred to views of the harbour and beach and they are named harbour view but there was no view. it didn't spoil the trip though.

It was very nice and easy to get to. I would recommend it. Excellent location for the sailing club.

Rose, a beautiful home! Thank you for being an amazing host always responding to me within great amount of time, very polite and helpful and gave us extra time in the caravan due to arriving late! Our only downside was the restaurant on the site due to a various issues we unfortunately experienced. Apart from that amazing place, great beach, and great caravan and I would recommend! Thank you xx
