House holiday rentals in Fumel

Geweldig modern huis van alle gemakken voorzien. Het leek vantevoren lastig te vinden, maar viel achteraf reuze mee. Zwembad niet gebruikt (te koud). De host had heerlijk ontbijt en avondeten bereid (tegen betaling). De paarden in de wei om het huis als ook de rust en het uitzicht de vallei in geweldig. Voor de hond alles omheind. Lekker buitenzitten onder het afdak met een dekentje met welkomst drankje en hapje :D We hebben plannen om in november ipv 2 nachten, een week te gaan...

Wat een heerlijke vakantie hebben wij hier gehad. Hele vriendelijke toegankelijke gastvrouw. Geweldig leuk huisje. Kraak helder zwembad. En wat een uitzicht!!!! Paradijsje op aarde. En niet te vergeten de rust, de vogeltjes en onze grote kleine vriend Lucky het grappige lieve 🐶 . Veel leuke bastide stadjes in de buurt en waanzinnige vergezichten. Een plek om terug te keren.

Firstly the hosts were responsive from the moment we booked to right through to check out. It helps they live on-site so when we had questions/issued Tas was with us instantly. The house has an incredible wow factor, and the heated pool and outside setting was to die for. Perfect for a general pool party / bbq party. What we especially liked as 3 couples with babies and toddlers, Tas has a “just like home approach” meaning we were not at all worried about the kids. The house is well equipped and had 3 high chairs and cots (with matresses). The bedrooms are wonderful and beds very comfortable, for an old house even the shower pressure was good. This region is rural so with water nearby do expect the usual flies/bugs/mozzie. That said, I was not biten all week and there were ample citronella aids (raid) left in kitchen for us along with a welcome hamper. Hosts are English and cater for a UK audience very well. Noise was never a problem and we felt at ease al week.

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable chez Mia. Le logement était très propre et fidèle à la description. Le cadre est apaisant et permet une totale déconnexion. Mia est une hôte très réactive. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Pool is about 8m long & 1.25m deep and was perfect for us in the warm weather, while the stone building keeps cool during the day. Secluded rear courtyard with umbrella is nice for outdoor meals. 10 minutes drive to the nearest town, so a car is essential. One (nice) restaurant within walking distance.

Wow! What a stunning property! The pictures don’t do it justice, we stayed as a group of 7 and it was beyond perfect. Every bedroom had its own bathroom so it was very private on an evening and then downstairs was huge and open plan so was wonderful to share meals and socialise together. The pool and outdoor area was extremely private too. We had a wonderful stay and would not hesitate to return.

I really can’t recommend Philippe and Alain’s place enough and our stay was delightful from start to finish. Not only is the property set in beautiful surroundings but the accommodation itself is lovely; full of character and is charming and spacious for a couple. The hosts themselves are also delightful. Philippe was exceptionally helpful throughout the process and extremely responsive, answering our questions and helping us when we were looking to book a local taxi at short notice. He made the effort to meet us when we arrived and spoke to us regularly during our stay; always kind, polite and friendly. Thank you for a fantastic stay guys!

We are so glad we chose to stay at David's place! The location in the village of Albas is beautiful & everything was clean and very comfortable. We also appreciated being able to sit in the garden. It was hot while we were there (34 degrees) but we were very comfortable because it is well-insulated and has shutters and aircon. Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved staying at this cute, clean place. It was really nicely decorated, free of clutter, everything was new and comfy, but the best thing was the view, deck, and hot tub. Oh, and the frogs at night. Just the sweetest piece of country land to be found. The beds were amazing, linens were great. Honestly, nothing to say other than I will and would book this place again. If you're looking for a beautiful night sky, hot tub under the stars, and a great home to call home, this is it. Great host, too :)

Un endroit tout simplement magnifique, avec en plus la gentillesse et l’accueil chaleureux de Simon ! Les gîtes sont bien séparés les uns des autres, mais on se croise avec plaisir dans la très jolie cour commune ou autour de la piscine. La situation idyllique au bord du Lot et les kayak à disposition ajoutent encore au charme du lieu ! Un endroit parfait pour déconnecter et passer de très bonnes vacances !

This house is an absolute gem. Perfectly located for exploring Castelnaud Chateau and other local sights. The garden view is lovely and is great fun when the balloons float past! A beautiful, characterful cottage in the heart of this historic village.

Charmant gîte à la lisière du Périgord noir. La piscine est très appréciable quand il fait très chaud. Nous avons eu de supers recommandations et un super accueil.

Effortlessly stylish property, finished beautifully in a stunning location. Celine was a wonderful host, friendly and responsive. Would highly recommend and would return in a heartbeat!

Nous avons passé un excellent week-end chez Margaux. Le logement est parfaitement conforme aux photos : propre, bien entretenu et très agréable à vivre. Le spa, tout comme la charmante cabane qui l’abrite, est de grande qualité et invite à la détente. Le jardin, joliment aménagé et soigné, est un vrai petit havre de paix… et quel plaisir de voir les petites poules y gambader librement ! Margaux et son conjoint sont des hôtes attentionnés, réactifs et disponibles. La communication a été fluide du début à la fin. Le lit est très confortable et la suite parentale est tout simplement superbe. Petit bémol : la proximité d’un axe routier apporte un peu de bruit, mais cela ne gâche en rien l’expérience, tant le lieu est agréable. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir ! Magnifique propriété au coeur de la campagne, propre, bien équipée et chaleureuse. Piscine et jacuzzi à disposition. Lieu parfait pour déconnecter le temps d'un weekend ou plus. Nous en avons également profité pour faire une balade à cheval. Marine a été accueillante, disponible et discrète. Nous avons adoré notre séjour et reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Benoit, qui s'est montré très accueillant et très réactif à nos demandes. Le logement est grand, très bien équipé, et très agréable. Que cela soit à l'intérieur, comme à l'extérieur, tout est impéccable. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la climatisation dans la maison et la piscine, avec ce week-end de canicule. Encore merci à Benoit pour son accueil. Nous reviendrons certainement !

Beautiful and spacious home in quiet village. Le Centenaire restaurant was walkable and provided good food and drink. Loved the farmhouse table in the kitchen and we spent many meals there or on the deck table. Many hot air balloons over the deck in the evenings. Kitchen was very well stocked for in home food preparation. Beds very comfortable. Very clean and well appointed.

Petite maison restaurée , avec petit séjour, et trois belles chambres, dans un joli environnement avec une piscine bien agréable durant les fortes chaleurs. Accueil très amical de Rebecca, propriétaires pro actif et très discrets.

Nathalie and Tim were such extraordinary hosts! My family and I had a wonderful time staying in their beautiful home! The house itself is perfect for cooking, relaxing, and spending time together. We were able to enjoy the wonderful gardens and the pool all day and watch the sunset from our patio each evening. Such a stunning and relaxing atmosphere. The best part was how well taken care of we felt all week. Nathalie helped organize a tour of local vineyards, scheduled a wine tasting by the pool, and cooked dinner for us all on 2 evenings. She also had great local restaurant and market recommendations! We also loved our morning chocolatines and croissants! They were extremely kind and accommodating throughout the trip - delivering bottles of wine when we ran short, lending us a pot so that we could cook a big stew one night, and even working a miracle helping me removing a grenadine stain from a white dress I bought at a local market. I can’t recommend this wonderful home enough!

The best lodging we've had on this month long trip to France. Beautifully and comfortably decorated, private but close to all the things, the best sleep I've had in years, wonderfully appointed kitchen. Heads up that there is a washer but no dryer, but we managed fine with the very large drying rack provided. Would not hesitate to recommend, I wish I had spent more of my time here.

Wij hebben het fantastisch gehad in deze ruime en sfeervolle boerderijwoning. Een geweldige locatie, heerlijk rustig en mooi gelegen. Genoten van de vogels en vlinders in de grote tuin. Echt een ideale plek om tot rust te komen. We werden hartelijk ontvangen door Anne, een ontzettend leuke en vriendelijke gastvrouw. Je voelt je hier meer dan welkom. Als het aan ons ligt komen we graag nog eens terug.

Een idyllische ervaring Ons verblijf in Saint-Étienne was niets minder dan fantastisch. Het huis waar we verbleven, was prachtig gelegen in een rustige, landelijke omgeving. De accommodatie was vlekkeloos schoon en goed onderhouden, met alle benodigde voorzieningen voor een comfortabel en aangenaam verblijf. De communicatie met de eigenares, Natasja, was uitstekend. Ze is erg behulpzaam en responsief vanaf het eerste contact tot aan ons vertrek. Ze gaf duidelijke instructies over hoe het huis te bereiken en hoe alles te gebruiken. Natasja was altijd bereikbaar voor vragen of extra ondersteuning, waardoor we ons zeer welkom voelden tijdens ons verblijf. Kortom, onze ervaring in Saint-Étienne Villereal was fantastisch.

This is probably the best Airbnb property we have ever stayed in. It is in a peaceful location, set in very well maintained gardens, and with lovely views of the surrounding countryside, particularly from the outdoor dining terrace and the swimming pool. Tastefully renovated, it is also decorated, furnished and equipped to a very high standard, and the leisure and games facilities (swimming, table tennis, snooker, table football, boules) are exceptional. The Lot and Aveyron valleys, with their spectacular gorges and picturesque hilltop towns and villages, are as scenic as the Dordogne but much quieter and less frequented, and we spent three happy days exploring the area. The hosts, Fanny and her mother Marie, are extremely friendly and helpful, and made us feel very welcome. We would love to return to the property in the future.
