Jacqueline is a wonderful host. She welcomed us with a big wave onto the driveway and was incredibly proactive, friendly and responsive throughout. She gave us clear instructions on arrival and the apartment had everything we needed plus essentials for our dog. The apartment was wonderfully decorated, so well that we did not want to leave. The whirlpool worked fantastically with a great back massage function and the log fire made our evening more magical. However the stand out of it all is the extremely comfortable bed and pillows. We had the best nights sleep we have had our entire three month trip. We cannot recommend Jacqueline enough.

Bettina’s apartment is lovely - probably the best place you could possibly stay in St. Gilgen. We are so grateful to have found it - thank you for such a great stay! Everything was clean, and the style was great.

We had a lovely stay at Georgina’s place. We didn’t mind the walk uphill even with a rolling suitcase. There’s a nice 15 minute walk in the woods to a viewpoint right in back of the apartment! Georgina was super responsive to all our questions. If it matters to you, please be aware that the single sofa bed ( good mattress ) is in the living room and the bunk beds are accessible only through the main bedroom..

We wish we could give more than five stars. Highly recommended. Gunther and Christa are warm, generous hosts. The apartment is even more attractive than the photos, filled with good artwork, comfortable furnishings. Don't miss their recommended Cantinetta, Falkenstein restaurants, walks around the lake and the ferry. We even plunged into the clear lake at the little beach just steps away. Beds are comfy and the kitchen well equipped. We will always look back fondly at our time in St Gilgen.

Ingrid was a fantastic host. Her commumication before and during our stay was excellent. She met us personally on arrival and when we left, providing helpful hints and tips about the local area. The apartment was in a great location within Hallstatt and ideal for visiting the surrounding areas. Providing a dedicated parking space outside the apartment was really helpful given the parking restrictions in the village itself. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Ingrid thought of everything from robes to slippers, umbrellas to toiletries and much more. We had a lovely relaxing week and are very grateful for Ingrid's care and consideration throughout. We would highly recommend this apartment if you are visiting Hallstatt and surrounding areas.

Everything was just wonderful - the location, the apartment and the hosts. We were at the Mondsee cycling marathon on site and enjoyed not only the great central location, but also the top equipment of the apartment and not least the fact that it was always pleasantly cool in the apartment due to the old vault (which is really an unbeatable plus at over 30° C). We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back! :)

The place was clean, cozy, and above all in a beautiful place. Absolutely sufficient kitchen amenities. What was absolutely TOP such a comfortable mattress. The host who greeted us with a smile was very nice and was in contact with us even during the stay. 10/10 I recommend :)

We really enjoyed staying at Monika and Tamas' place. they were both so thoughtful and responsive to our requests. Tamas' gave us a ride down to the local grocery store our first night as we had arrived late and was very generous to give us a tour of the town and share his experiences here

Johanna and Flo are super sweet people but the sweetest is Rosalie, she is so cute!!!!! We were very kindly received, everything is SUPER PROPER and NEAT!!!! Nicely decorated, the kitchen is very well equipped for cooking yourself. We have enjoyed the super cozy and nice terrace with beautiful garden and beautiful view of the mountains. Even though we sometimes had a little rain, we could always sit dry on the terrace. You have private parking at the apartment. Across the street, a cozy Konditorei with delicious pastries. And a very nice Pizzeria just around the corner, Jolly Pizzeria with very tasty Pizza. There is also a small supermarket nearby. The area was very quiet and you are right on the Konigssee. You can take beautiful walks and excursions in the area. Everything was PERFECT, we enjoyed our vacation SUPER and felt AT HOME !!!! We highly recommend the apartment and would definitely come back. Georg and Renate were wonderful, communicative but not intrusive hosts. We felt right at home The apartment is very pleasantly furnished, everything you needed was there. And for me, the most important thing: absolutely clean!!! The location is fantastic. With the bike we could do many beautiful tours, even some further destinations were super to reach by car and bike. The evenings on the deck chairs, a glass of wine in hand and the fantastic view of the lake were the perfect end to an eventful day. Thank you Renate and Georg for the wonderful time (10 days) with you. You and your apartment are absolutely recommended.

The apartment has everything you need. Everything is as good as new! The location is great and it is very quiet. Everyone in the house was very friendly and helpful. For us, the apartment was perfect! Fresh eggs were available for purchase. If you need it dark, take sleep goggles with you. The bathroom is clean but a little small. The balcony is narrow, but this is normal for the type of building. But if you want to do everything on foot, you're in the wrong place. A car is necessary here. Thank you for 5 great nights.

Absolutely beautiful apartment, more spacious than expected. In the heart of Hallstaat. Spotlessly clean. Great view from windows (even being on the non lake side). We loved our stay there. Thank you 😊

Clean, peaceful and very private place sto stay near Salzburg if you drive a car. The host gave us so. much a private stay and very helpful. Very recommended!

We, 4 adults and 2 dogs enjoyed staying at Bettina's place very much. We felt very comfortable and our dogs were also warmly welcomed. The apartment is very nicely decorated and perfect for the number of people. Bettina is a very warm and helpful host (she even invited us to a private celebration). She gave us many great tips for excursions and hikes. The location is perfect and you can do a lot in the area (Traunstein, Chiemsee, Berchtesgaden , Salzburg). We will be happy to come back.❤️🐶🐓🌷⛰️☀️

We had a great stay in Daniel’s place and would highly recommend it. It’s done with taste, everything is pretty new and kitchen was well equipped. Self check in was clear and easy. Terrace is really great! It’s spacious and has loads of seats, table. We had breakfast there every day. It’s just at the local football stadium which also has a restaurant. People from restaurant can see you in whirlpool and during our stay there was some competition with loud music until around midnight. This did not disturb us but might be good to know for other guests. Location is great in a small village with many hiking roots available right from the house. Great restaurants available within walking distance

We had a wonderful week. The cottage run by Maikel and Britt is beautiful and very well located in a medium mountain setting (1350 m) located at the foot of the Hochkönig in a bucolic and relaxing setting. Maikel and Britt are very welcoming and friendly, always present for good advice. The cottage is very clean, spacious, well-equipped and tastefully decorated. The sauna is very useful after a good walk. The village of Mühlbarch am Hochkönig is located downstairs 5 km away in a small valley in the center of many hikes and also a family ski resort. We would recommend it.

The Chalet was exactly as the photos portrayed. It was well appointed with plenty of furniture for everyone to be comfortable as well as a nicely stocked kitchen. We did have some confusion when we arrived to find the two bunk beds had not been fitted with linens. We were six people - one couple and four singles - so we had expected to be able to use all of the beds. The solution was simple, we moved the linens from the other half of the two king beds, but we were surprised that all of the beds were not made. The only other issue was regulating the temperature in our bedroom. We kept the window open all day so that it would cool down enough for us to be comfortable sleeping, but by the middle of the night the room was quite warm again. (We could not leave the window open during the night due to street noise.) All in all, we had a very nice stay at the Chalet.

Very cool accommodation with a lot of love and above all creatively and cozily furnished. Very good service on site. It makes you feel welcome. Highly recommended again at any time.

The apartment was well equipped. In addition to the whirlpool, which we liked to use, the small extras and a well thought-out user concept were the highlights of the apartment. We felt comfortable the entire stay. With the Baics, such as communication and cleanliness, everything was great! We'd love to come back
