Weisenbach is a small community (approx. 2600 inhabitants) in the northern Black Forest with good infrastructure. Welcome to Villa Maria, our small fairy-tale chateau by the forest in Lauterbourg. It is your home away from home, with its own history and character, offering a calm retreat or a base between Karlsruhe and Strasbourg for exploring the Rhine Valley, Black Forest, and the Vosges. It’s a short 5-minute walk to the village bakeries for morning bread and 10 min to the lake & beach. Whether you are visiting as a couple, family or a group of ten, we hope you find it as welcoming and peaceful as we do.

Your flat in our half-timbered house is the ideal starting point for excursions to the Black Forest, Kraichgau or to Karlsruhe and Stuttgart. Our farmhouse is located north of the "Black Forest Nature Park". Nature invites you to cycle, hike and discover: orchards, forests, meadow valleys and high moors, gorges, streams & lakes! And vineyards. But you can also relax in our garden and enjoy local wine or craft beer. We have 2 dogs and 1 cat, turtles and sheep (not always on premise).

The very well-maintained apartment building is located in Rastatt, close to the city centre. You only need 5 minutes walking distance to land in the city center We offer bicycles that can be used FREE of charge to walk, get to know the proximity, etc... Check-in is done independently. You can arrive at any time from 16:00 until 3:00 in the morning using a code lock. Ideal for tourists, spa guests, business people, holidaymakers, etc.

A cosy + comfy flat in the ♥️ of Black Forest🌲

Between 12.05-08.06 we can accept only a long stay. We're flexible with dates and prices, please send us a message. Our flat is 5-7 mins walk to the center. You can take the Sommerbergbahn (Funicular) to reach Baumwipfelpfad (Treetop Walk) or the Hängebrücke (Wildline). Two thermal baths and restaurants are also located in the center. A walk in our lovely Kurpark is a must. There's definitely an option for everyone in Bad Wildbad.

Ideal for bikers and hikers.  The property is best reached by car, restaurants & supermarkets are 5-10 minutes away in Gernsbach. There is a taxi in the district of Lautenbach.
