Stayed at Lisindu’s place with 2 other friends…the place was great and clean. He had everything ready for us. The place was comfortable and very homey. We absolutely loved the outside area!! The kitchen was clean and left well prepared for us. The location is very central. Just 4mins to the railway station, 8mins to other attractions like Kai beach, Kurumba day, Nomad and Moochies. Linen was very clean. Lisindu was very friendly and welcoming. It was very easy to work with him. Would definitely recommend the place for a group of friends!

Very good place to stay. Location is quiet, not far from city center(few minutes on bike or 5-10 minutes walking). Host provided everything needed(fan, kitchen, extension). Minuses: 1. Internet is not working well(either mobile internet dialog or router, provided by host, not working well 2. Place was a bit dusty. It’s definitely needs a cleaning

We stayed at Rasika Villa 25th of Jan - 30th of Jan. The villa is great. Its very clean, comfortable, nice and beautiful. Not far from tourist center, beach and railway station. We really enjoyed our short vacations in Hikkaduwa and are glad to meet Chandana and his friendly family.

Nice place with great location close to the ocean! Kind and friendly hosts, sometimes treated us to a delicious breakfast, although it was not included.

Chaminda welcomed us warmly, was always available and very helpful! On the New Year, we were even allowed to taste traditional food from Sri Lanka, which he put on the table especially for us. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful villa located a very quick walk from multiple great surf breaks, a few awesome cafes and restaurants, and the coastal highway! The villa itself was very homey and welcoming too. Wonderful hosts with great recommendations. The curry at their other venue ‘Plantations Villa’ were the best meals of our trip to Sri Lanka.

A family stayed with two preschoolers. The house has everything for a comfortable life: a washing machine, a toaster, a juicer, a full kitchen in general. There is a water heater in the shower. Each bedroom has air conditioning and mosquito net. But we didn't use it, there were enough fans and open windows, and there was expensive electricity in Sri Lanka. Chandana (the host of the villa) was always available to help us with anything. He lives in the next villa and everything was very prompt: whether it's a transfer, tours or our inability to handle local insects. On the day of arrival, Chandana took us for free to a small tour of the city, showed the beaches, ATMs, shops, etc. The return flight was night, and the villa hosts did their best for our comfortable late check-out. Yes, they paid for the electricity separately, according to the counter. Also with gas, there is no central gas in Sri Lanka, there will be a cylinder, but it is not expensive. Cleaning is also not included in the price, 1000 rupees at a time, clean well. Among the disadvantages, I note that we were still far away, walking along the coastal road of Hikkaduwa well... not very comfortable, especially with children (they do not have sidewalks, and traffic is typically Asian). Therefore, when booking this villa, you should expect a tuk tuk or bikes in advance.

Stayed from April 31 to March 16. We agreed with the host about a transfer from the airport for an honest price and also a transfer back. The place is very comfortable, definitely worth the money, the host is very friendly, treated with fruits and invited for a traditional breakfast. There will be many monkeys around you, a variety of birds and cute 🐿️ monkey squirrels have never entered our territory since they are shy but it's a pleasure to watch them from the outside. With the safety of the property, you can be absolutely peaceful. Also, friends came to us and the house is designed to accommodate 4 people but without an overnight stay, since the air conditioning is only in one bedroom and the rest of the room is cooled by fans. The kitchen is large, spacious with a stove, blender, rice cooker, and everything you need if you want to cook yourself. The shower room with toilet is large and spacious. The host also offers a tour to Ella and can take you there in his own car for a good price. And on the 3rd floor you will find 2 sun loungers and an amazing view of the starry sky 🌌

we spend 11 nights at this place and re absolutely happy with it regardless of the barking dogs in the night and friendly during the day.

Lovely space away from the busy streets of Unawatuna. The fan above the bed was a life saver as it can get very warm at night if you have the shutters shut at night like we did. Quick tuk tuk ride into the main Street or a short walk by Kumara shortcut direction. Very welcoming family, greeted with coconuts and tea in the morning. Kumara the villa owner was very helpful with tuk tuk lift around Unawatuna and dropping us to Mirissa.

I with my friends stayed here and we really enjoyed our time there! The place is lovely and 100% matches photo, Location is also very good - there're beach, cafes and big grocery store are in 15-minute walk. Kelani and Shantha were very welcoming and supportive in everything! Highly recommend this place, would love to revisit it!

We stayed for 12 nights in the one bed apartment upstairs, light and airy, light bathroom, cooking facilities and fridge etc. Very friendly host, and we loved the beautiful village location. 2 superb restaurants within 5 minutes walk, and we regularly walked to the beach, 15/20 mins or 5 mins in a tut tut. Pool was a bonus, thankyou!!!

Gayana’s place was everything we hoped for and more! We were staying for a multi day wedding nearby and needed a clean easy place to sleep and get ready. Gayana and her lovely housekeeper ensured we had everything we needed and more! Including a delicious breakfast every day and assistance to one of the guests who has a visual impairment, which was so kind and appreciated. Beautiful house with a lovely pool - couldnt recommend more!

We spent a week at Breeze Villa with our 3 year old daughter. The location of Anomas Villa is amazing - directly located at the beach. You can literally wake up and walk straight into the beautiful sea. In the morning, swimming is very safe for children. However, this location comes with the downside that there are no shops, cafes or good restaurants in walking distance. As TukTuks are easily accessible all the time, this was no problem for us because Unawatuna was just a 5-10 min TukTuk ride away. The villa itself is very big with 4 bedrooms (all with AC, 3 with mosquito nets) and 2 living rooms. The terrace is stunning. One should be aware that you pay for the location and the size - the equipment and overall condition of the villa is ok. Chaminda is a great host, responded to all our needs immediately and was very attentive. His family even prepared a Sri Lankan meal for us on our last day. Overall, we had an amazing time at Breeze Villa and can highly recommend the villa to people who want to spend their holidays in a unique location!

This place is so cute and brimming with jungle life. A flock of peafowl and some monkeys would pop out just behind the house everyday. The two gentlemen on site were such great helpers with everything from our bags to our breakfast. I would absolutely stay here again given the chance and think you should too!

Wow.....We stayed for our winter break for two months and it was fantastic. The villa, although a little quirky was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, the outside areas were fantastic, really good pool and beutifully kept gardens, with direct access to the beach and nearby restaurants. Gievs was always on hand to give us local information and to resolve any problems that occurred. Having problems reaching the beach due to the sand retracting with the tide he organised wooden steps to make our access easier within day....fantastic. The biggest joy of our stay was the house manager...Sadika who was always on hand to keep the villa pristinely clean and serve the best gin and tonics in Sri Lanka. his mother would come and cook our meals if we wished and honestly, her food was outstanding, beating most restaurant standards in the area. Vidura and his wife are great host. once we landed in Colombo,he got in touch and was waiting outside main road of his house to guide us. only issue kids had was absence of TV and intermittent WiFi connectivity. everything from room to pool was well maintained and nearby areas can be explored by local srilankan railways too. His house is hardly 100 MTs from Maha induruwa station. thank you vidura and all the best for your future endeavours

The accommodation is even more beautiful than in the photos: the setting is incredible and the villa is neat. The rooms are air-conditioned and the pool is at the perfect temperature. Vinura is a host who has a sense of hospitality and is ready to help in all circumstances, both in terms of the stay itself and recommendations for visits to the surroundings. We loved our night in this Airbnb and can only encourage you to go there if you are passing through Galle!
