Viken Fjellgård is located by the lake Espedalsvatnet, an hour's drive from Lillehammer. And if you want to enjoy yourself indoors with a fire in the oven, something hot to drink, a good book or a game, or if you want to go skiing, go for a walk on snowshoes, a snowshoe hike, ice fishing, burn a fire, make a snow cave and snow lantern, or just look at the stars, then this can be the place. There are miles of prepared ski slopes. The trails start right outside the farm, or you can drive a short distance to start the trip on the high mountain.

Apartment on the 2nd floor in a separate house on a farm in Gausdal. The farm operates milk and meat production and today's drivers are 14 generations. The houses on the farm are primarily from the 1700s and 1800s. The farm is located on the sunny side in Østre Gausdal, with a great view of the village. Short distance to Skei and Lillehammer. Perfect for a couple who like skiing since it is in the middle between Hafjell, Kvitfjell and Skei. Hunderfossen family park, Øyer amusement park, Hafjell gondola lift is a great experience. In Fåvang you can see the ice cathedral, a frozen waterfall. The Road Museum in Øyer has free entrance, where you can see many historical vehicles, etc. But most of all, we have many nice nature experiences here in Gudbrandsdalen. Just park all the way up to the bedroom window. Trash is thrown in the gray bin behind the cabin. Have a great vacation😉

An excellent location for some moutain peace and quiet with beautiful hiking and cross-country conditions. Also includes a small sauna, cabin office possibilities, nice dinners and outside evening on the decking around the cabin. Plenty of parking space also.
