Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Genesee County

This was our third stay at Kristine's place and will very likely not be our last. Kristine's place provides a relaxing getaway with unique charm and we enjoy every stay. Kristine provides all the amenities to make you feel right at home making this the perfect place for a low-key stay-cation in the winter. By far one of our favorite places to stay. Thank you again for opening your place for us to enjoy! 12/10 recommend!

We absolutely LOVED the Holly Hideaway! This was our second time staying at one of Heidi and Darren’s places and it was just as incredible as the A frame (maybe even better suited to our needs) The space is just so cool, very private, and there’s so much to do that it’s hard to leave. We enjoyed playing endless music on the record player (we brought our own records too), used the hot tub, bikes, fire pit, played multiple games of pool and Pac-Man, and the teens lounged in the camper (awesome add on) and all around the space. The kitchen is so well equipped with everything you need and we ate in quite a bit. This is the perfect space to rent! So close to Pine Knob (we were in for a concert) and close to darling downtown Holly. We enjoyed iced coffees and ice cream in Battle Alley. Also, be sure to drop by the owner’s restaurant- it is fabulous! You’ll see their same style represented there and the food is delicious! Can’t wait to stay again next year! LOVED this place! Shena was a super attentive person to us and communicated with us when we needed something, she even came to throw salt when it was snowing here. The truth is that we will repeat in this accommodation, we found it perfect.

We were coming to Flint for a celebration of life for a cousin. We found this beautiful Victorian home in Linden, just 18 minutes from the airport and my aunts. It was a great, easy drive. The home was exactly as explained, beautiful, clean, and just what we expected. We loved the garage, and parking that kept us out of the cold. The video by Gene was helpful and we easily knew how to adjust the temperature. The beds were comfortable, the rooms a great size. We made coffee every morning in the available coffee pot. We could cook if needed, although we didn’t. The fridge had room for food as needed. We ate lunch at the Linden Hotel, that was very close and ordered pizza from the liquor store based on an recommendation. Overall we had an awesome 5 days in Linden and our stay at the Victorian House. Gene and Ashely were awesome host. They responded quickly before I reserved , during, and after. This stay was so awesome that we are looking to stay again during 2025.

My friends and I come for an annual golf tournament every year and this is our second time staying here. Todd is a great host and the new garage updates were so much fun! Highly recommend staying here.

Lyn was so sweet and her cottage is absolutely enchanting and peaceful. we had a 12 and 5 year old with us and y enjoyed fishing, s'mores by the fire, boating, swimming, and all the incredible nature all around. we caught video of two woodpeckers it a awesome! plenty of extra towels and linens for use if needed. I only wish there was a better couch in the living room so my family could be together the her when it was time to settle down. seriously the best vacation spot to disconnect and enjoy the moment. Thank you Lyn and Pete! we hope to be back again.

Kelly was very responsive and friendly, and kindly accommodated my early check-in. The place had everything I needed — it felt just like home. Super clean and cute — I had a great stay!

Probably the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. Couldn’t be more thankful for how accommodating and friendly Karin is and the space itself is wonderful. If we are ever back out this way, it is definitely at the top of the list for places to stay.

Great spot.. small, quaint, peaceful.. little creek and patio.. Not a lot of room but everything that's needed for one and his pup.. A stones throw to a great main street and super restaurants ..

Laura was an amazing host! We felt right at home, and the place was spotless. She answered our messages and assisted us with the bonfire. My daughters had an amazing time, we were sad that due to our limited time we couldn’t do the rope course at her property. If we visit Michigan again, we’d definitely stay here!

We had a pleasant stay, just a couple small quirks to the place we didn't anticipate, maybe I didn't read the listing close enough, but host was responsive and friendly. Perks were it's a spacious stay and has a comfortable bed. TV and fireplace are nice. Quirks are is a first floor apartment complex with a tenant above and there were banging noises above that kept waking us up. Host responded they'd ask the neighbor to keep down the noise, a great option, however the noise kept happening seemingly every time we tried to sleep. Bath towels are located under the bed in a plastic drawer, which isn't correct from the description given "in dresser" and there were no towels in the bathroom initially, which really confused us. The shower is well water based and has a horrible odor, not much the host can do about this but it made showering quite uncomfortable. I still rated 5 stars due to these being minor quirks, overall the stay was peaceful.

Michael’s place is such a hidden gem! Everything matched the descriptions and photos, the lake view was beautiful, the area was quiet and peaceful. I could truly go on and on about how nice our weekend here was. We definitely plan on coming back!

The place was fantastic. Her directions with pictures made it really easy to find. Check-in was super easy. The place was extremely clean and well stocked. And very quiet. She was extremely responsive. Check out was a breeze. Didn’t make the guest do tons of cleaning. Can’t wait to stay there again soon. was absolutely perfect.

We enjoyed staying at Ashley's place during the time that our family was handling a medical situation over a period of several week. Ashley and Jeffrey were both very good at communicating with us and always quick to respond. The unit itself is a very nicely/newly remodeled upstairs apartment in an older house. The furnishings were all very nice and high-quality. We especially appreciated the spacious kitchen and the comfortable beds. (Comfortable mattresses was a must-have for us). The bathrooms were both very nice and had lots of artistic flair as well. Overall, the place was well-appointed, as they say. Noise was the only complaint I would have... there's a train that runs 100 yards behind us, a busy road in front of the house, and apparently the people living below us were often making noise after 11 PM. We think they might work night-shifts. Ending on a positive note: the town of Holly is very lovely and had a lot of nice shops and restaurants. Overall, a good choice to stay.

My brothers and I with our significant others always get together for a weekend at the Renaissance Festival in Holly and this was literally the perfect cabin for us - close enough that we could go to and from if we needed a break during our long days at the Faire and peaceful enough at night to come back to and relax or play games like we love to do together. Plenty of space that we could all have beds and felt cozy. The lake is beautiful this time of year and even was warm enough that we could have swam after if we wanted or weren’t warn out from our long days. Parking was easy to figure out even with four vehicles. Host was responsive and super helpful and even allowed us to check in early when we realized that we would rather all drive in together last second. (Whoops! Poor planning on my part.) There was even provided water which was lovely as well, and a really nice touch when it comes to well water! Thank you so much and we will be back!

We had a great weekend getaway for memorial weekend and celebrating my sisters birthday! They went above and beyond and helped decorate the house before arrival and it could not have been more perfect! The boats were great! The house was in tip top shape! I have no complaints and we made amazing memories! The hammock was also an added bonus!!

Beautiful, quiet, cute, and clean! Great location in between Birch Run and Frankenmuth. Just the right amount of seclusion but very close to the city. Very responsive when I messaged due to a slippery porch. They came and salted right away. Only suggestion is to maybe have paper shades or blinds for privacy especially for when walking from the bath to bedroom. It is pretty private but if someone walked up on the porch they can see into the bathroom and bedroom. We stayed two nights but only had two towels and two washcloths. I’m sure if I would have called the owners would have been responsive. All in all great place. We would definitely stay again.

During our recent trip from Georgia to visit my elderly father and reconnect with childhood friends, we stumbled upon this amazing Airbnb property. My girlfriends and I were celebrating our 50th birthdays together, and having our fathers join the celebration made it even more special. The location of the property was absolutely perfect, just a few miles away from my dad's place. It provided the ideal combination of privacy and space for our group, making our stay truly enjoyable. The property is beautiful. One of the standout features of the property was the incredible showers with body sprayers– a luxurious touch that we all appreciated. The well-equipped kitchen also made meal preparations a breeze, adding to the overall convenience of our stay. This is our third time staying at Chad's place and it was as great as before. The place is beautiful, private, and serene. The house has everything you need for a terrific trip in the country.

Staying at Matthew's Place was a delightful experience for us. Nestled in the charm of the 1950s, this fishing cabin brims with character. It's cozy and quaint, yet it doesn't skimp on cleanliness or convenience. Located near the enchanting Village of Clarkston, it offers easy access to local neighborhoods and the downtown area on foot. The serene lake, adorned with ducks, swans, and turtles, provided a peaceful backdrop to our stay. Rick managed to catch a big large- mouth bass, which, in the spirit of catch and release, was returned to its aquatic home. We took advantage of the canoe for a gentle paddle on the lake. We brought our own life vests, though Mathew does provide everything we needed. Our stay was thoroughly enjoyable, and we wholeheartedly recommend Matthew's Place to singles, couples, and small families looking for a quaint getaway with a touch of adventure.

Stephanie’s place was beautiful and private. Exactly what we were looking for as guests. It’s a a lot more spacious than I had imagined, and the view of the lake with the fire pit lit was a great experience. I would definitely recommend this place to family/friends and come back again for a future vacation. 🤩🤩
