Villa holiday rentals in Georgioupoli

This is the best Airbnb we’ve stayed in, like a 5 star hotel. The villa is beautiful and luxurious. Everything is new and works. Christina the host is amazing, very helpful. Each room has a well sized bathroom with a great shower. A breakfast basket was left outside at 8:30 am each morning - delicious! The kitchen is spotless and has all the tools you’ll need. There’s a BBQ. The villa was cleaned midway and the cleaners did a great job. It is quiet and secure. We slept well. The outside space is stunning. The pool is a constant 1.5 metre depth so perhaps not suitable for very young children. The local village is small and very friendly. There’s a great shop 10 minutes walk away, and next to that is a good restaurant (taverna). You definitely need a car here but I’d recommend you have a car anyway to explore Crete. The coastal town of Almyrida is 10 mins drive away with restaurants and shops. Chania and Rethymno are approx 45 mins drive away. Both have lovely old towns.

This was the nicest Airbnb I've ever stayed in! To note, though, that this review is for the East Villa, as we had booked the West Villa, but the host kindly offered to switch us. The patio area of the East Villa looks nicer than the West Villa, as it's bigger and has a breathtaking view of the ocean. The villas are only a few months old, and everything was spotless. Mary was always responsive, which was crucial as we had booked last minute. She arranged for a contact person to meet us at a location nearby, who then led us to the villa. The location is a bit remote, but it's close to Lake Kournas and completely private. The village of Kournas is also nearby, and Chania is about an hour away. It was so comfortable that I didn't want to leave! The highlights for me were the view, the pool, the rainfall shower, and the pillows. There was also a bottle of wine in the fridge, and even though we broke something at the place, they were very polite and didn't mind at all. Truly a dream!

This place is absolutely amazing. My wife and I spent our honeymoon at Aikaterinis apartment and we were completely satisfied. The inside provides everything what we needed. The description was absolutely accurate. The fridge is very spacious and there is a freezer as well. We cooked quite a lot therefore this was very helpful for us. The pool outside is very clean and also the temperature was perfect for the hot days in Greece. You can really relax at this place because there is not a lot of tourism at this area on Crete. Also the beach in front of the house is quite nice. We put our hammock under some trees and were watching the sunrise over Paleochora. I can totally recommend this apartment, especially for couples who want some relaxing time and together.

The house is simply gorgeous. Our family had a wonderful Christmas holiday here. The host was very generous with items in the refrigerator and a well stocked kitchen. Lots of recommendations of places to eat in the area. Michael met us in the driveway upon arrival and showed us everything in the house, that was very kind. Especially loved access to the washer and dryer because we were traveling with kids. It was too cold to use the pool, but if you are here when it is warm, it would be such delight.

Georgios and Tanja's place is beautiful - a tranquil haven in a lovely village nestled up in the hills but only a few minutes' drive from the coast. Our experience was exceptional from the outset, with Tanja being very accommodating of our late check-in (due to the late arrival of our flight) and welcoming us warmly on arrival. She offered us suggestions for things to do and places to eat during our stay and graciously allowed us a late check-out as well - again due to the late departure of our flights. The house itself is fantastic, beautifully appointed and with a lovely view of the valley. Kournas is a very picturesque village and the food at the local tavernas is fabulous, although the kitchen in the house has everything you need to cook should you wish to. I can't recommend Georgio and Tanja's place enough for a place to stay in Crete. Hopefully we'll make it back one day!

We stayed at Niko’s beautiful villa as a group of 10 and had an unforgettable experience. The villa itself was stunning, with breathtaking views that we enjoyed every single day. Absolut top Villa, modern, sauber, ruhig, rundum top! Von der Villa aus hat man die beste Aussicht, absolut überragend. Einziger Hinweis, die Einfahrt ist sehr steil, mit unserem gemieteten Fiat Panda kamen wir nicht hoch, konnten aber direkt vor der Einfahrt parken. Wir können diese Villa jedem empfehlen der auf der Suche nach Ruhe und Erholung ist, mit traumhaftem Ausblick. In naher Umgebung gibt es tolle, einfache Restaurants, zu Fuß erreichbar.

Wonderful Experience at the Villa Elias! Our stay at the villa was perfect. The sea view was breathtaking, especially during sunset – a true sense of calm, quiet, and complete privacy. Choosing this villa was an excellent decision, especially because of the heated pool, which the kids absolutely loved. They enjoyed both swimming and playing in the spacious garden. The villa is well-equipped, with many useful items that made our stay very comfortable, including an air pump for pool toys. The location is also great – close to shops, supermarkets, and pharmacies. Die Unterkunft entsprach exakt der Beschreibung und sah aus wie auf den Fotos. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und haben vor allem den Garten mit dem großen Pool geliebt. Unsere Gastgeberin, Laura, war jederzeit für uns erreichbar und sehr freundlich.

Outstanding views, 5* accommodation with hosts that go above and beyond and can’t do enough to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Recommendations of local places to eat. If you can, take use of the local chefs to come in and cook for you. Family of 7 cost us €280 as a guide without drinks and was beautiful food. The villa is spacious and relaxing and perfectly placed to walk into plaka and short drive to almyrida beach with beautiful fish tavernas and water activities. Party of 3 boys (15,15 and 12), my husband and I and his parents it was the perfect house to have our own spaces but still come together. The photos do not do the house justice at all. The outdoor kitchen, outside bath and jacuzzi plus all the outdoor terraces to each room are spectacular. Enjoy, you won’t be disappointed. Hope to be back again one day. Wir hatten einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt in der Villa Mystique in Chania und können diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen. Die gesamte Verwaltung sowie die Hilfe vor Ort waren wirklich erstklassig – freundlich, professionell und stets hilfsbereit, was unseren Aufenthalt sehr angenehm gemacht hat. Die Kommunikation verlief reibungslos, und wir fühlten uns jederzeit gut betreut. Die Reinigung des Hauses und des Pools wurde regelmäßig und zuverlässig durchgeführt, sodass wir uns immer in einer sauberen und gepflegten Umgebung aufhalten konnten. Das Haus selbst ist wunderschön eingerichtet, modern und komfortabel – es fehlt an nichts. Besonders beeindruckend ist der atemberaubende Blick auf die Bucht von Chania, der uns jeden Tag aufs Neue begeistert hat. Der herrliche Pool, der abends beleuchtet ist, lädt zum Entspannen und Verweilen ein und sorgt für eine perfekte Urlaubsatmosphäre. Das tolle Haus, mit dem Pool befindet sich in einer unglaublich schönen, ruhigen Umgebung. Man ist sehr privat. Wir ( 6 Personen) haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Die Fotos sind real. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich mit frischem Obst, besonders lecker die Zitronen, und frischem Wasser. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet. Es ist ein Luxus, dass jedes Schlafzimmer ein eigenes Bad hat. Der Ausblick ist fantastisch, ebenso der Sternenhimmel jede Nacht. Restaurants sind in 10 min zu Fuß schnell zu erreichen. Christos und Giorgos sind sehr herzliche Gastgeber. Die Kommunikation war schnell und unkompliziert. Ein wirklich schöner Urlaub zum abschalten und genießen.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful villa! The house is truly luxurious, in perfect condition, and tastefully designed with great attention to detail. The layout of the rooms is simply brilliant — spacious, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing and spending quality time together. The heated pool was one of our favorite features — always at the perfect temperature to cool down and unwind at any time of the day. The location couldn’t be better: just a few minutes’ walk to the beach, where you’ll find plenty of great restaurants, cafes, and shops. A very special thank you to our amazing hosts! They were incredibly warm, welcoming, and always just a message away. Every little question or request was answered within minutes — we felt truly taken care of from the very first moment. Es war wundervoll! Eine wunderschöne Villa mit traumhaften Ausblick auf das Meer und die Landschaft. Abends genoßen wir immer einen schönen Sonnenuntergang. Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig und man kann hier sehr gut entspannen. Der nächste Supermarkt ist ca. 15-20 Minuten per Auto entfernt. Wir haben unsere Privatsphäre sehr genoßen.

The villa was absolutely stunning and had been designed with such an eye for detail. The villa was also immaculate and cleaned regularly throughout our stay. The villa itself had everything you could possibly want, the pool and hot tub were exceptional and the facilities were just as pictured. The games room was a particular favourite of ours. The host was also fabulous! He met us upon arrival and made us feel very welcome. Providing everything we needed to get settled as well as for our little one! We cannot wait to stay again! This suite is AMAZING! Every detail has been thought of, and all needs accommodated…very clean! Nikos was an amazing host, very communicative and helpful. The suite is spacious, pool is very clean with a huge relaxation area with more than enough loungers and umbrellas, and THE VIEW is second to none! Close proximity to anything and everything you may need. If you’re considering staying here, DO IT!! You will not be disappointed! We will definitely be back!

We had a lovely week over the Greek Easter period at Villa Rosa. All the facilities are perfectly fine for a week’s holiday .. compact space but fine for 3 of us. Rosemary was extremely responsive and friendly and flexible on a late check out which was really helpful.

Po prostu fantastyczne miejsce … co tu dużo ukrywać trochę aż niebezpieczne… z planowanych wycieczek zrealizowane 25% po prostu , nigdzie nie chciało nam się jeździć,cały czas relaks. Dla niektórych małym minusem może być to, że trochę słychać ruch samochodowy, ale po dwóch dniach , nikt nas na to już nie zwracał uwagi . Było idealnie. Polecam

We had the most enjoyable stay in villa fantasia, we felt at home straight away! Absolutely everything was perfect, spotlessly clean, spacious, comfy beds, beautiful pool area… we wouldn’t be able to find a fault if we tried. The location was just as impressive with a beautiful sandy beach just 5 mins away on foot. The square was a few mins further - full of shops, restaurants, ice cream etc. Everything was within reach for a perfectly relaxing holiday! There is a little tourist train you can catch near the beach to a few of the sights - we took this to Lake Kournas (amazing, we all loved this, especially swimming with the turtles!!) the train was loved by the kids!! Chrissy was a wonderfully friendly host, so informative and helpful with lots of local recommendations and also always available if we needed anything. We cannot wait to return…..

We’ve never experienced an Airbnb like this – in terms of both the villa and the hospitality. A heartfelt thank you to Eftychis and his wonderful mother – you made our stay unforgetable! We were seven people, including three children (one toddler), and everything was just perfect. The villa is spotless, beautifully designed, and extremely well-equipped – the kitchen had top-tier appliances, and the baby gear was modern, clean, and like new. The house is set in a peaceful location with a breathtaking sea view. When we arrived, a delicious homemade Greek salad and cookies were waiting for us – such a warm welcome! This villa is located in beautiful surroundings..and is completely private. On the left you have views of the sea and on the right views of the mountains. Lake Kournas..a freshwater lake is literally 4 mins up the road and the lovely village of Georgiopolis is 4 mins drive down the hill. Gianni was the best host..allowing us to check out later due to a later flight and us having a 4 year old. Nothing was too much and he was always available for help or advice if needed. He lives close by and was easily accessible via phone. Gianni also provided us with some of his own olive oil which he makes from his own olive groves..and he ensured the garden and pool was also ready and clean for our stay. I hope to return one day to crete and will likely stay again in the airbnb if available as we spent 11 days in paradise here! We also felt this was the most beautiful part of the island from the north side and was central to both Chania and Rethymno towns. Take care Gianni and family

Katerina was helpful from the start! Arranged a lovely local taxi driver to pick us up from the airport. She was there to greet us on arrival despite the late hour. She left us grapes, tea, coffee, wine, milk, bread and jam for the morning. Home was spotless, had every gadget you would need and more (dishwasher, coffee machine etc) Had small electrical issue one day, but response was quick and issue was sorted immediately by her husband who works locally. Had a lovely weeks stay. Pool was fantastic (5ft deep all over with steps in), great outdoor seating, stunning view of the sea and mountains. Katerina recommended a local shop, 2 great restaurants and 2 bakeries in the town. Beach is 15 minute walk away and well worth a visit. Recommend a hire car as villa on a steep hill which was difficult in the heat and no pavement at times on the walk down. Town of Chania 45 minute drive , bus stop nearby and uses an air-conditioned coach. Highly recommend and absolutely loved this place!
