Cabin holiday rentals in Ghent

Wow, what a lovely stay. Even better than the pictures. We really enjoyed the outdoor space, including an outdoor grill and kitchen space, lots of fire pits, and a hot tub. Very relaxing with everything you would need for your stay. Very close to many activities and food. We enjoyed Summersville Lake State Park and New River Gorge National Park for Bridge Walk and White Water Rafting. One of our favorite Airbnb stays we’ve had!

The chalet was beautiful, clean, and peaceful. The hot tub was amazing and we had everything we needed. Great place to relax or enjoy nearby activities. 100% recommend! Was not overly price and well worth what we payed for a relaxing weekend which was exactly what we was looking for. Michael was simple, kind, and gave directions that was easy to find the location of our destination. We will be back again. Thank you so much for a nice affordable well worth getaway!

This was a great stay that was right next to Hawks Nest State Park and within 10 minutes or so of the northern part of New River Gorge National Park. We prefer to cook our own food when we travel and this place had a nice little kitchen and charcoal grill. I would maybe suggest adding either an extra table inside or a picnic table outdoors just to have a bit more surface space for food prep but otherwise no complaints. The hot tub was very relaxing after lots of hiking. Hoping to return to the area and stay here again next year.

My fiance and I were able to book the cabin for a last minute weekend getaway. The house was very clean, cute and perfect for what we needed. Our dog enjoyed the big fenced in yard, and we enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. We had everything we needed to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner (bring your own seasonings though), and got restful sleep! We were beyond grateful to enjoy this home for the weekend! The biggest complaints on the reviews are the wifi and the driveway... we didn't have any issues with either personally.. but if you're afraid to get your car dirty or need to work the whole trip, maybe pick something closer to town.. otherwise its perfect to unplug and unwind!

Kevin’s place was perfect for a weekend get away at the New River Gorge. His house is in perfect proximity to both Summerville lake and the national park. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.

The Bee Glade was an amazing stay and lots of fun with friends and family. The ping pong table was our favorite!

This place was the perfect rest and recoup spot for some tired moms who had been camping and rafting all week with kids! So quiet and relaxing. The 4 of us found this a very cozy and welcoming space that was comfortable to hang out in the living room or porch. 3 separate bedrooms all very quiet and private. The shower!!! I used it first and yelled WHOO!!! It was so luxurious- a rain shower- that felt like heaven! The hot tub was a genuine treat- actually seated 4 people in the deep seats, each with a different jet target. The metal roof was amazing for hearing the rain! A doe came very close while we were in the hot tub. We didn’t cook but there was everything you need including like creamers for coffee. Miranda was wonderful and responsive. Definitely flagging this as a favorite place to stay!!!!

We rented this house to go to the Metallica concert at VaTech with our two Hokies and other family members. The house was very spacious, clean, and private! And sitting on the back porch with the view of Wolf Creek.. and watching our son fly fishing in it. It was very peaceful and relaxing! Would definitely stay here again!

Great place with everything we needed during our stay! It was a close drive to Summersville Lake Marina where we were able to rent a dock to keep our boat there! The lake was beautiful- we plan to return so we can see some of the things we missed this trip!

We stayed at the Whitetail Cabin at Pipestem Place. The host was very welcoming, and the cabin was well-stocked with everything we could want for a weekend getaway. The scenery was beautiful and private and the cabin was well-designed and peaceful. The location is also very convenient for visiting various parks in the Pipestem, Bluestone, and New River regions, and the town of Hinton.

What a comfortable three bedroom home with spotless bathrooms and well equipped kitchen. The WiFi was very adequate for streaming and our dog loved his own bed and fenced in yard. The best part is the quiet neighborhood close to a city park that connects to many of the trails within the national park. This is a great central location to explore the area. We had a great time!

We loved this place and it felt like home. It had everything in the home that you would need during your stay. Our 2 mini poodles loved it as well. Emily is a Super Host and we would like to stay again sometime. Great country setting and great ice cream at Fat Eddie’s. Thanks again for letting us stay in your home!

We loved our stay at the cabin! It was just as described and perfect for a long weekend trip. We enjoyed the screened in porch and the fire pit out back the most. Although there are other houses around, it feels very secluded and private. We would definitely stay again!

We loved our stay at this cabin! Less than an hour to New River Gorge National Park with lots of other trails/water activities nearby. The cabin itself is clean, peaceful, and stocked with everything you need including fire wood. We would love to return.

"Almost Heaven" lived up to its name! We would leave a 10-star rating if we could. Gary and Julie were excellent hosts, communicated extremely well and always available if we needed anything. The place is adorable and was stocked with many items to make our stay comfortable -- they even provided us breakfast foods, coffee and snacks to get us going! It was so much fun to stay in this historic cabin right across from the River Gorge National Park and a block from one of the best hiking trails in the park. We also loved the jacuzzi after a long day of hiking. Private and beautiful location and still just short 10 minute drive from restaurants, grocery stores and other other "city" needs. Absolutely one of THE BEST Airbnbs we have ever stayed at and we highly recommend "Almost Heaven".

This place is definitely a hidden treasure especially for the price. Absolutely no complaints we wish we could have stayed there forever. The location was private, house was spotless, and Drema responded quick to any messages we sent her. We will be booking this again if we come back to West Virginia.

An amazing property. Very peaceful. Hot tub A+. Heating stove in living room was very effective and nice to quickly warm up inside after a night time hot tub soak on the patio. Easy access to all directions and in the gorge. Friendly check in. The only ‘issue’ was the comfort of the mattress, but that’s a personal detail/preference and very hard to please every single person. Great location for exploring New River Gorge National Park. Loved the covered porch in the evening as we had lots of rain when we visited!

Kellie made our wedding anniversary and my daughter’s 16th birthday very special with personal gifts/cards. She went above and beyond to make the place perfect for our stay and made sure that we had a barbecue available to celebrate, just as we had requested. The place is as advertised and close to major attractions. Highly recommended for someone looking to visit New River Gorge.

Truly a "cozy cabin" in an amazing location, near great hikes and white water rafting. Only wish we could have stayed longer.
