Ideally located for those wanting a quiet retreat in the countryside and perfect for those who enjoy walking, bird watching, fishing and Skiing in the winter months, but close enough to towns and cities to soak up the French atmosphere during the day. Admire the star filled sky at night with is truly an amazing sight. We welcome 2 dogs at an additional cost of 50 euros per dog per stay

This independent accommodation was designed on the ground floor of a beautiful stone barn located next to our house, facing Allagnat Castle. A large bay window overlooks the garden that you can enjoy. In the heart of the Chaîne des Puys, on the edge of a forest known for its magnificent beech forest, Allagnat is dominated by its medieval castle and surrounded by multiple hiking trails. The Gîte des Hirondelles is a house that is part of an old farmhouse. It has been fully renovated with modern amenities and is very functional. Located in a small hamlet made up of a dozen houses, you will be quiet, in the heart of nature but still close to shops and services a few kilometers away. For a weekend or a longer stay, you will find tranquility and serenity. Puy-de-Dôme and Vulcania are about 30/35 minutes away

Ideally located 10 minutes from Lake Bariousses, 15 minutes from Treignac and 30 minutes from Lake Vassivière; you can enjoy on-site tennis activities, walks in the forest or along the river, at no extra cost. You can also fish in the pond (hours and rates on carpodrome.fr).
