Winemakers often store their wine in oak barrels during the wine making process. When it’s stored at high humidity for long periods, a small portion of alcohol evaporates from the barrel. The evaporating alcohol, called angel’s share, is believed to be guardian angels watching over the wine while it ages. Named after this belief, the Angel’s Share suite at our Fredericksburg, TX B&B has lovely wood features and stone masonry that’s truly fit for an angel.

The Manor is one of our most extraordinary units in the Texas Hill Country. Part of a farmhouse that was built in 1902, the Manor combines Fredericksburg’s unique German history with the rustic elegance of the Wine Country. This house was once the principal house on the farm of an early settler. Part of the German immigrant tradition, most inhabitants also had a Sunday House in close proximity to the church, where they resided on the weekends.

A rustic cabin exterior is featured, with a wooden porch and two seating areas. The front door is framed by a natural wood overhang. A pathway leads up to the porch, and soft lighting is strung along the edge, enhancing the outdoor space.
