You walk straight in from street level, and to a quiet part of the building. When you enter the apartment, you look straight down and out over the sea! On either side are the bedrooms, completely sheltered from sound from the street. Large bathroom on the same floor. Down a half staircase and you find yourself in a voluminous room with windows disposed from floor - to the ceiling which is 4 meters up! Beautiful kitchen, nice dining area with a view, and a really cozy TV nook can be found down there. And exit to private porch hanging just above the sea.

Nostalgia

A charming 19th century house with a good atmosphere. The property is beautifully situated by the sea overlooking Ålesund and the Sunnmøre Alps. Only 15 mins with a car from Ålesund city and the nearest airport, but is still a place that gives peace of mind. Outside the garden there are cultivated fields with grazing animals in late summer. The island of Giske itself is a gem with a medieval marble church, beaches, untouched nature and birdlife. The island once housed Norway's most powerful noble family, the Arnungs and is mentioned in the Snorre saga.

The apartment is located at the top of Skaret on Valderøya just outside Ålesund with panoramic views of the shipping line long coast. 10-15 minutes drive to the center of Ålesund, about 10 min to the airport. Hiking opportunities just outside the door of the mountain Signal with views in all directions, or to the other islands Godøya, Giske or Vigra. At Alnes, located on Godøya, there is an art gallery/cafe with a view into the sea. Short distance to all the sights of Ålesund and Sunnmørsfjellene with all their hiking opportunities.

I gåavstand har du Atlanterhavsparken, Tueneset med strand, stier, gapahuker og bålplass samt bunkerser fra 2. verdenskrig. Du kan gå opp på Sukkertoppen herfra. Nydelig utsikt over by og fjell. Vogna har dobbeltseng, enkeltseng, stor sofa, enkelt kjøkken, toalett og tv, ovn m.m. Velkommen.

Just metres from the town centre, but very quiet at the end of a narrow road, with amazing fjord and mountain views! Your parking space is in front of our house, and you go down an exterior staircase to your entrance. The entry has a big wardrobe. Next is the modern and fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom has a shower and washer dryer combo. Down the hallway is a bedroom with a 150x200cm bed and a big closet, and a living room with a sofa bed that pulls out to 140x200cm and a crib. Welcome!

Valderøya - 10 minutes to Ålesund and the airport

My place is good for couples, solo travelers, business travelers. Also suitable for a small family. (Extra mattresses). There will also be a boat available for free use during the stay at your own risk.
