A charming 19th century house with a good atmosphere. The property is beautifully situated by the sea overlooking Ålesund and the Sunnmøre Alps. Only 15 mins with a car from Ålesund city and the nearest airport, but is still a place that gives peace of mind. Outside the garden there are cultivated fields with grazing animals in late summer. The island of Giske itself is a gem with a medieval marble church, beaches, untouched nature and birdlife. The island once housed Norway's most powerful noble family, the Arnungs and is mentioned in the Snorre saga.

Vogna is idyllically located with good views. 10 minutes by car from Ålesund city center, about 20 by bus. 1/2 minute to the fjord where sea water can rent a rowboat by agreement. Within walking distance you have Atlanterhavsparken, Tueneset with beach, trails, gaps and fire pit as well as bunkers from World War II. You can walk up to Sugarloaf from here. Lovely view of town and mountains The wagon is equipped with a double bed, a single bed if needed (more than two?), large sofa, single kitchen, toilet, wardrobe and TV. Welcome.

Our place is close to Ålesund Airport. Ålesund airport. Great nature. Rural and quiet. Still only 20 min drive to the center of Ålesund. My place is good for couples, traveling alone, solo travelers, travelers. Can also be suitable for a small family. (Extra mattresses). Electric scooter can also be used. Newly renovated farmhouse from 1894 which has retained its unique charm and old style :) The house is located on Ulla, Haramsøy (Ålesund municipality), with the sea as its nearest neighbour. It is a short distance to fishing opportunities and a bathing area, and the hiking trails are right outside the kitchen door. There will also be a boat available for free use during the stay.
