Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

Since no road leads directly to our house (footpath approx. 300 meters, up to 30% gradient over meadow), you can look forward to a traffic-free zone. The arrival is rewarded with a breathtaking panoramic view over the Linthebene. The cozily furnished living room and a freestanding stove ensure the right ambience. A bedtime story of the fox and rabbit is not excluded.

Our 0041 schöne79 accommodation, Unit 544, is located on a property that combines 27 with an older farmhouse. The property is rather secluded and surrounded by meadows, with a view of the beautiful Glarus mountains. In this area, you can enjoy the peace and quiet. However, there are also an incredible number of sights and activities in the area. We are happy to help you find something suitable. The studio is wheelchair accessible and has no steps.

The beautiful lodging is combined with an older farmhouse, which is located more remote and surrounded by woods and meadows with views of the beautiful Glarus mountains. In this area you can enjoy the tranquillity, as a leisure activity there are many places of interest and sports facilities, such as hiking in the mountains of Amden or on the Speer - King of the Pre-Alps. If the weather is fine, you can enjoy a fantastic view of Lake Constance.
