Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Gondomar

The house is wonderful, the wonderful view, the pool , boat ride. The silence to rest and the kindness of the people of this paradise was too much. Thank you so much for these wonderful rest days in this piece of paradise. I hope to come back !

Don't hesitate to book this place it's perfect... Beautiful surroundings, nice barbecue, a big swimming pool and everything to peacefully enjoy the quietness of this environment. Manuel is very responsive and helpful when needed. You won't regret if you booked this place and it's close to Porto and much closer of a beautiful national park.

Nice little cottage with air conditioning. Wonderful, large garden with citrus trees and a beautiful well-maintained pool, which we could use alone. Travel time to Porto city center approx. 30 min., good supermarket (Continente) 15 min. Beach by the river (recommended!) 5 min. by car, also within walking distance. Well-equipped kitchen. View of the river from some corners of the garden. Check-in independently, communication very nice.

Our stay was amazing. We went to Grijó for a wedding and the location couldn't be more perfect. Emília was an amazing host, super available, attentive and of a giant sympathy! The house, besides the excellent cleaning, is very welcoming and is equipped with everything we need and something else :) all the corners were thought to detail with a lot of love and affection, both inside and outside that is also very pleasant ! And it's impossible not to feel the good energy ❤️ We sincerely thank you for your attention and look forward to coming back!

This villa exceeded our expectations, and was well appointed to accommodate our needs. We were two families totally 4 adults and 4 kids, and the size was perfect. Outdoor amenities were great, including pool, bathhouse, picnic and barbecue area. The property was very private, and there was a Marina Bar next door that has great food (the burger is one of the best I've had). The only two downsides, which didn't impact my rating was that the wifi didn't work well (I had my own hotspot, and you might want to disconnect) and the beds are firm (seems common in Portugal, because we had a very similar experience at another place). We were looking for a place that was central to northern Portugal, and this worked out great (less then 30 mins to Porto). Being right on the Duro river was very relaxing. We were also able to experience folk dancing (rancho) next door at the marina one night, which was a great cultural experience.

Manuel and Christine are very welcoming, generous, available and offer good advice. Ideal house for 8 people with one bathroom and toilet per room. Very pleasant exterior and ideal location (20 minutes from Porto.)

Our stay was excellent! Elsa was over the top in every way! We had a gift of wine and custard tarts when we got there, Elsa arranged a reservation at an amazing restaurant and she responded quickly to any inquiry. Would definitely come back to this beautiful sanctuary.

Great apartment! We came to Porto for the first time and stayed in this cute apartment for 3 days together. We really liked the apartment. Compact, clean, cozy. The furniture is new, everything is comfortable. This apartment is ideal for 1-2 people. It has everything you need. We had breakfast on the balcony overlooking the stadium. One evening, there was a football match at this stadium - a pleasant surprise. A few steps away is a huge supermarket: you can buy everything there. Sara allowed us to check in earlier than the agreed time and check out later. We are very grateful to Sarah for her understanding and kind attitude towards her guests. Definitely recommended!

I had a very pleasant stay :) there was a little miss communication about the garage, but as soon as Tomas send me the instructions all was solved and everything silky smooth! Good place to relax and work as well!

Very good accommodation for our group of 4 people. The neighborhood is very quiet and there is a great view of the Douro from the terrace! However, no access to Vila Nova de Gaia or Porto by public transport, we had to take a Bolt to avoid taking the car to enjoy Porto. No parking for the car, we had to look for a place in the nearby streets. Joaquim is friendly and very responsive.

This place is great! About 35 min outside of downtown Porto. Easy to find and Liana was super communicative. They left a bottle of wine, & chocolate along with robes. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown area, this place has everything you need! Everyone was so helpful and the place was so charming. ❤️

We loved the apartment. It was so spacious, had a beautiful view of the river, and there was a walking path on the river that led to a coffee shop/small restaurant. The closest bus stop was about a half mile away, but we found Uber and Bolt to be very reasonably priced as there were 5 of us. The pool was clean and a very nice addition. The company that cared for the property were receptive and answered questions within 20 minutes. Overall, an excellent place to stay and I would highly recommend.

Claudia and her husband were exceptional hosts, always just a phone call away and incredibly helpful. Their responsiveness and warm hospitality significantly enhanced my stay, making me feel right at home. I highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone looking to experience the best of northern Portugal. Really nice apartment, absolutely no problems parking. I wanted to be able to explore northern Portugal, and the location was perfect for me: Easy to get to nearby towns, the Douro valley, ...

Ricardo has been responsive since the original booking months ago. The apartment was very clean, beds were comfortable, apartment was quiet. He met us there to give the instructions in person and was quick to respond for any needs. This place is highly recommended!

The apartment is a delight from the moment you walk in. It is beautifully decorated and feels like a home. Great bathroom with amazing rain shower and hot water. Bedroom and kitchen and living areas are all well presented and equipped with all you need and with lots of additional touches. Very quiet for sleeping, and great air conditioning in bedroom and living area. Great location to explore Porto, and don’t even have to walk very far at all, including a great cafe next door, to find lovely eating places. Pedro was a wonderful host in every way.

The apartment was really nice and spacious with a big balcony where we enjoyed the sun. The kitchen was also well equipped with the essentials. Also a big plus was a private parking spot in the garage. Paula and her team were very responsive and helpful. We had a great stay!

I booked this accommodation because the view of the Douro River was so beautiful, and I was very satisfied! I kept walking because it was downtown just across the bridge, but it was okay. It was nice to have a large house for the price and all the cooking utensils:)

We spent 4 very pleasant days in the apartment, which is very well located in the center of Matosinhos and has all kinds of businesses nearby (also the beach!). It's great for a couple or a single person. And Fernando, the host, will give you all the information you need to enjoy your stay, and will be on hand to resolve any issues that will make your trip even more enjoyable. In short, a great experience!

Fantastic spot with views of the water. Very airy, beautiful flat in Mira Gaia and walking distance to the Dom Luis bridge, Clerigos area and Sao Bento train station. (Just be ready for the hills! There is a set of escalators down the river, though not all seem to work all at one time for whatever reason.) Just a few minutes from multiple bus stops and a local market. Quiet area since it is on a dead end street and comfortable beds with all the needed amenities. Highly recommended!

All I can say is wow! We spent 11 days staying at Adriano’s apartment and it felt like home! I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in such a well equipped Air BnB. If you could think of it, Adriano had it. In the bathroom there was shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hair dryer and hair straighteners. In the kitchen there was every utensil you could think of and more, I think you could cook a full Sunday roast dinner and have every pan and dish required! We are a family of four, with children aged 5 and 7. They made the most of the swimming pool during our stay and the beach. The pool is cool but refreshing. The sea was like ice but we made good games of jumping the waves and splashing one another. The beach is less than a five minute walk from the apartment and is a must during your stay, even if it’s just to watch the surfers fight the waves. It’s a very peaceful beach! Adriano is a great host and very helpful. We will be looking to stay again if we come back to the area!
