Sonjia is a great host and I really enjoyed my stay at her place. The place is very comfortable and a short walk from the surfers beach. Be prepared to take a Reggae bus into town for a swimming or snorkeling beach and to get decent restaurants.

Really nice place abit outside of all the touristy areas. Secluded and a nice back porch where you can tan. Either a car och a driver needed to get there with luggage but still on a nice place on the southeast side of Barbados. Great host and hostess!

Ashley’s place was perfect for two people. Both the bedroom and bathroom are great sizes to share. We loved cooking breakfast in the kitchen every morning with the windows open. We also enjoyed the porch with the hammock and huge side yard. We felt right at home.

Gloria's place is exactly as it looks in the photos and is a very good budget option on an island with few of them! The kettle and fridge were useful and you can sit outside on the drive. The aircon was excellent! Gloria was very responsive and her son William picked me up from my taxi at the bus stop and gave me a tour of the area. You can walk to the local beach. From the main road there are minibuses that go all the way to Bridgetown for 3.50BDS though be warned the traffic is quite bad heading north in the morning and south in the evening! You can also get to and from the airport by minibus/private buses if you haven't much luggage - they're much more frequent than the official bus. Its also walking distance to Oistins fish fry (stalls are open every night) though there's no sidewalk on the main road.
